I'm an East Coast girl who found Vegas in 1996 and fell in love and I've been going back every year ever since. I was always a Mindfreak fan but saw BeLIEve for the first time in October 2008 and have gone back every 6 months and love all the changes. It just keeps getting better.
I first saw the show in 2008 in the preview stage. I loved the original version because it was more Cirque style but I also love the new version it has evolved into because now it is more Criss, more illusions and more old world magic meets new. My favorite scene is the wedding dress scene where Criss walks down the wall of the train of the dress in velvet pants, top hat and cane.
I am not in Mindfreak 6 but was there when Criss was filming the High Rollers scene at the Luxor. It was amazing to watch him work for 2 hours. He was smiling and laughing and it was an experience to watch a segment being filmed.
My favorite Vegas places are: Mandalay Bay's Wave Pool and Beach, Bellagio, Caesars, Wynn and Monte Carlo to stay at: restaurants: Delmonico's, Strip Steak, Prime, Nove has the all time best seafood pasta dish and I never miss going there when I visit, PlayBoy Club for black jack, JP chocolates at Aria for chocolate covered strawberries, Bally's Sterling Champagne Brunch on Sunday, just to name a few.
I met Criss for the first time on October 28, 2011 and it was amazing. See my blog and message boards for the details. I've seen BeLIEve 8 times since 2008 preview show.

Meet and Greet after BeLIEve on October 28, 201111/05/2011 - 12:45pm | Comments: () On Friday, October 28, 2011, I attend a Meet and Greet and met Criss Angel for the first time. The night started out with the show at 9:30 P.M. I've seen the show since it's preview stage in 2008 and every 6 months since. It's an amazing show. But this blog is about the meet and greet. After the show was over, they told us to stay in our seats until they had time to clear the lobby. Then we went in to the lobby and just walked around looking at everything that is in the theater now. Criss came out about 20 minutes later shaking hands with everyone. They told us to line us. I was the 4th in line. When it came for my turn, I thanked him for having the Meet and Greet since I have been trying to meet him since 2008. He hugged me and said how sweet. Then I handed him a Christmas ornament that I had made of me and 2 other Loyals when we were all together with his wax figure. He smiled and said "Tommy, look an ornament for my tree." I told him I didn't know if he was having a Loyal tree but I thought it'd be nice to hang on it and he said he was definitely having a tree. So then he asked me how to spell my name and starting writing on the posters that Cirque gave us. He wrote: Thanks for all your Loyal support. I love ya. Criss. I then had one of the playing cards from the set he sells in the Mindfreak store and he signed that too. So we were talking about how I am from Pennsylvania and he spent time in Easton. I told him PA was getting a major snow storm and I might need to stay at Serenity when the hotel kicked me out and he just laughed. I then said I had a question to ask him. I told him he might want to turn off the camers but he said he could always edit it out. So I told him the wedding scene is my favorite. He said he was working on revamping it so it wasn't in the show that night. Well I said all the Loyals who follow me and I have this discussion and I want to know what's underneath the velvet pants he wears. He laughed and starting unbuttoned the top button of his jeans and said "well, let's see" then said maybe I better not! I told him we had 4 choices: briefs/boxers/thong/nothing. He said he has to wear something because he has had wardrobe malfunctions with zippers breaking and pants splitting. He said he wears lycra bike pants (like a bicyclist wears) underneath the velvet pants Then it was picture time. They took 1 picture and I asked if I could have one more because I had been waiting so long to meet him. He said sure and they took another one. I was thanking him again and he said I was sweet again and then he just grabbed me and said "let's give her a good one" and hugged me and kissed my forehead and held me while they took the picture that is my profile. It was an awesome night and getting a hug and a kiss from Criss was the best experience. We also got a tour of everyting in the lobby from Criss for about a half hour after where he explained everything. AND I was asked to film a commercial which was a question/answer session about the show. Thanks again, Criss, for making my vacation truly special. .............. Robyn
