I've been a fan of Criss Angel since his first season of Mindfreak, 2006 I think. I have yet to make it to Vegas, but my cousin went and she met Criss. She also got Criss to sign his Believe show book for me. So lucky to have gotten that!
Like Criss, I was also born in NY. Now I live in CT.

25 things about me:
1. I'm almost 30, yet I look like I'm 19. (That's why all the young guys go after me.)
2. I've been on 4 dates, before I found the one that I really love. It took me 26 years to find him.
3. I have my own pet sitting business ever since I was 10.
4. I'm a huge fan of Stevie Nicks and Criss Angel
5. I want to go to Vegas so bad.
6. I was born in NYC.
7. I moved to Danbury when I was 3.
8. I love to sing, but I have a terrible voice.
9. I was in Girl Scouts from Brownie to Senior.
10. I've taken ballet, jazz and tap classes.
11. I've done karate and gymnastics.
12. I've been on a basketball team in elementary school (Mill Ridge).
13. I went to catholic school for middle school. I loved 6th and 7th grade, but I hated 8th grade because I was bullied.
14. I went to DHS.
15. I went to WestConn to take non-credit courses.
16. I was in two clubs at DHS: The Fun Club and Animal Rights.
17. When I was 18, I was told I wasn't able to drive because of my vision.
18. When I was 19, I had eye surgery.
19. At 24 years old I took driving lessons. But failed the written test. Haven't been interested in driving since then. Till now, but don't have the money for it and it's too far away.
20. I'm more at my boyfriend's house then I am at mine.
21. I'm not interested in having a baby. But I would maybe like to adopt at least one kid or twins.
22. I really want to be a dog groomer assistant.
23. So far I have owned 2 dogs, 2 cats, a bird, fish, several hamsters and a rabbit.
24. I've worked in a pet store.
25. I've been to New York, Connecticut, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Virgina, Florida, Washington D.C., Maryland, Michigan, Mexico and The Caymen Islands.

How to Plan a Vegas vacation
by Mike Myers

First and foremost, you want to determine what type of vacation it is. Is it a work trip, a reunion, a bachelor party, or a gaming addiction? Each of those will determine where to go from here. For example, if it's a work trip, you have conventions and you'll probably want to choose a hotel near or connected to the convention you'll be attending, assuming you'll actually step foot in the convention. A bachelor party will most likely want a fun hotel or casino that will put up with your rowdy behavior, if not encourage it. You wouldn't want to plan a bachelor blowout and end up getting and trouble because your group was too loud when you entered every room in the casino when, for the same price, you could be as loud as you want and party with like-minded people at a casino down the street.
Once you determine the nature of your vacation, you can better understand how much help, if any, you're gonna need. A work trip with dinners you could probably just book on your own with a simple phone call or by visiting the casino's website. A bachelor party with golf outings and strip clubs and night clubs can get very confusing, especially if you're not a detail-oriented person or aren't knowledgeable of the local scene. For this case, calling an independent hosting company is probably your best bet. These companies will book your rooms, your transportation, dinners, give entertainment options and suggestions, and, if you want, they'll even come along as a guide to ensure everything goes smoothly. If you're a very detail-oriented person, you can certainly call the concierges at your hotel and book your own , pick your own golf course, and then figure out which restaurants you want to go to, and then call them and so on and so on, but the average person who isn't certain what they want to do on a specific trip, independent hosting company is a nice option and a definitely good resource to have.
Oh, and the casino concierges will typically get you a very biased suggestion since they're told to recommend only those things inside their casino in order to keep you on property.

How to Get a Good Rate on a Las Vegas Hotel
Your best way is to plan ahead. Don't come on a holiday weekend, not just Memorial Day or Labor day, or New Year's Eve or Presidents Day or any day off that brings out half of California. And trust me, all of California know all of these days. If you can come during the week. That's ideal. Otherwise just price on the travel sites and look for bargains. Have in mind what the type of hotel you want and try not to be specific. If you want a five star hotel, tell yourself that the Wynn, Encore, Bellagio, or Mandarin are all good and find out who's giving the best deals. If you don't go specific, you have the better chances of finding what you want at price point that you want. You can buy in bulk if you have a big group that's coming out, if you have a weeding party, or if you have a bachelor party and you're purchasing multiple rooms at the same time, you can ask for a discount as far as that goes. There's two ways to look at it. You can either purchase something far in advance or purchase something last minute. So, you can bank on the fact that they're gonna have extra rooms so you're gonna get a discount at the last minute or you can purchase it so far in advance that the hotels don't have something booked. Don't have a convention booked. Typically, when you go and find somebody having an amazing deal, they went and purchased it a year in advance. And then call it a concert or something like that came up at that hotel at the last minute so the hotel price is actually skyrocketed. However, they'll still honor your actual hotel room when your purchased it a year in advance. You can always count on there, being in a room with the last minute if you're gonna go the opposite direction.

How to Choose Among All the Las Vegas Hotels
Determine what you want to get out of your hotel. Is it simply a place to sleep for 8 hours and then you leave or is it a place you will be utilizing all the amenities and dining in the restaurants and shopping in the malls? Once you know what type of experience you are looking for, you need to determine the level of service and quality that you are seeking. Do you like the finer things in life? Are you wearing anything with the name Gucci or Prada on it right now? Will we be doing any gambling while you are in town or is that not your thing? All these questions should help you narrow down your focus. Most people's final answer boils down to money. How much are you willing to spend each night and for what type of room? And there is just a matter of choosing which one best fits all your criteria. If you are looking for the best of the best then the Wynn Encore is probably going to be your best choice, Bellagio is a close 2nd and the shopping is limited in both of them but both of the biggest designers in-house and some of the best restaurants in the world around every corner. If you are on a business trip, The Venetian or Mandalay Bay are very popular due to their connections to the two biggest convention centers in Las Vegas. They both have a lot of rooms. The Venetian a Palazzo was the largest hotel in the world with 7000 plus rooms and a lot of restaurants with a bigger variety of price point so you don't have to break your bank on a work trip. If you are here just to party, The Cosmopolitan is the newest hotel with very hip bars and restaurants and pools and is the most popular night club in the country. City Center has a wide variety of entertainment and room product even boasting the Mandarin Oriental boutique hotel for those who want a more intimate experience while still benefiting from being a Jason to a mega resort that has multiple night clubs and lounges for you to choose from.

The Highlights of Ballys Las Vegas
All this kind of reminds me of the stratosphere where there is not a whole lot of highlights to Ballys. The Sunday brunch is an amazing draw.
Other than that, the Jubilee show, I believe, is the only thing there that really draws in a crowd. It's one of the oldest shows in Vegas. It's actually a pretty amazing show. You can't imagine how many girls are topless that are on the stage. And it's kind of refreshing to not go to a strip club, to actually go to a production show and see what old Vegas was.
The only other highlight to Ballys is the actual location on the strip and the relative low price. And typically, the crowds tend to be a lot of females considering girls don't really care where they're staying. Girls tend to leave their hotel room, walk on the strip and go to clubs because they can wear whatever they want and get in. Guys don't have that luxury, so they tend to actually stay and pay for the actual experience of the hotel.

The Highlights of the Tropicana Las Vegas
The Tropicana is actually in the middle of a gigantic remodel. Before the only highlights at the Tropicana were the location and the proximity to the MGM. It's claim to fame was that it has been there forever and that it's on the corner of the Tropicana and Las Vegas Blvd. Other than that, there wasn't really anything there. Nicky Beach and Club Nicky are going to open up inside the Tropicana. Nicky Beach is a very popular pool party/just pool in general that probably has fifty locations around the world: Miami, they have them in Cabo, they have them in San Trope, they have them basically everywhere. It's just, basically, an all white towel, all white daybed version of a pool party. It remains to be seen if that pool party will be popular in Vegas. To me it looks like just a bunch of white towels laying on the ground, and in Las Vegas that just wont cut it, but like I said, once again, only time will tell if I'm correct or if they're correct and this is the next big thing.

The Highlights of the Paris Las Vegas
The Paris reception is probably the nicest reception or the fanciest reception in town. The Paris really did go all out with chandeliers and crystals and they did a really really good job. The Eiffel Tower restaurant, the lookout tower in the Eiffel Tower are definitely a must see. Inside the Paris Hotel itself are the legs of the Eiffel Tower so it looks like the Eiffel Tower is actually built through the hotel, which is really a nice touch. The Chateau Night Club is their new night club, they just opened it up. They spent 35 million dollars on it which includes a Sugar Factory which is a restaurant and candy shop on the strip. And it also has a fondue bar in the back of Sugar Factory. They have a good mall. It's very nostalgic if you've ever been to Paris. You know, this is one of the themed hotels which you just don't see that much anymore in Las Vegas. Everything is Italian or everything might be French oriented, but it's not based around a specific city so whenever you're walking on the streets or inside on the streets of the Paris, you know there's something nostalgic about it. Going by a crepe shop if you've ever been to Paris and saw often they have the outdoor seating where you can grab a coffee. Those are definitely some of the highlights for me.

The Highlights of the Stratosphere Casino, Hotel, and Tower
Truly the only high line of the stratosphere is the rides on top of stratosphere. On the hundred eight floor Vegas tower they have four different rides they have sky jump, they have Insanity, they have X-Scream and they have Big Shot. The Big Shot is basically hundred and sixty for call that's stumps directly fount the top of the stratosphere straight up they drop you in the chair and then shot you 45 miles/ hour straight up towards the sky. I actually done it, it's absolutely terrifying that one is the longest every done of the rest of resonance, they have sky jump now you're basically sky diving slash bunch jumping on the sometime your guide free follow that's you jumping of the hundred eight floor you flow always to ground that will you soon terrifying I have not done because I am chicken. The X-Scream is considered to be a space age titan tower, which is on the top of the hotels wall. Its angel you 27 feet over the edge of the stratosphere. The insanity is basically like a roller coaster of shots, its spend you in several passengers in the open air speeds up to 3gs it angel you like 70 degrees and wipe your body back in different directions you goes straight up you goes straight down you have truly believe in actual ride itself because you have no control over anything and you getting twisted around the top of the stratosphere. Truthfully to me all these seems crazy but it really only thing of the stratosphere.

The Highlights of Caesars Palace Las Vegas
The biggest highlight for Caesars Palace will probably be the Forum Shops, which when created was the most expensive first preferred shopping in all of Las Vegas. They have every type of store there, they have Louis Vuitton, they have Chrome Arts, they have Nike Town. They have actually just made a turn towards some of the more modestly priced clothing stores. The Forum Shops boast some of the best restaurants which are Stone Crab, The Palm, Il Mulino. They also have one of the most popular nightclubs in Las Vegas, or at least one of the most notorious nightclubs in Las Vegas. Those of us in the know, know not to go to Pure. However, Pure still makes a whole bunch of money on Fridays and Saturdays, because of the world-wide recognition it got whenever it came to town in the beginning. Pure was the first nightclub in Las Vegas to really pay celebrities heavily to show up. So your Paris Hiltons, your Britney Spears's, your Lindsay Lohanns when she was paid to go places really made Pure, you know, hit the map, and then now it's just kind of resting on those laurels. Elton John comes into town every once a while at the Colosseum. Celine Dion is a definite highlight in the Colosseum. Serendipity is a fantastic restaurant/dessert shop which is actually on the strip itself, but right in front of Caesars Palace, not actually connected to Caesars Palace itself, but if you walk out of the front of LA and just keep walking towards the strip, you'll run into it, along with an outdoor eatery area, that has an outdoor stadium, they have fights in, they have some concerts from time to time.

The Highlights of Aria Las Vegas
First and foremost I think the best thing about Aria, it's the fact that it smells like oatmeal cookies. There is the company that actually pumps the scents into casinos and Aria was the first one to really utilize it. Haze Night club is their most popular attraction. It's a big night club, you know lots of world renowned DJ's and celebrities. Liquid pool is a pool which is also run by the light group; cold munch is also across the way from the Elvis show which, the music is considered to be little bit outdated for the current audience. But for a true Elvis fan, it's actually a really a treat for the senses. Bar Masa is a very popular sushi restaurant. American fish has one of the best menus that I have ever seen. Serial is the best spaghetti in Las Vegas. Todd English pub has nickel beer night on Tuesdays, which is amazing considering its inside a casino and they also have a beer chugging contest where if you go up to the bar they have hour glasses and if you can tug your beer in 7 seconds your beer is free. Used to be a unlimited beers and then a friend of mine and his friend went in there and did 17 glasses of Guinness and then they ended up taking that rule away and now it's supposed to be two beers per day. It's definitely doable I've seen guys do it, I've seen girls do it in 15 for 15.

The Highlights of the Palms Las Vegas
Once the hotspot of Las Vegas, The Palms has taken the backseat in the past few years but seems prone for a comeback. Rain was the first mega club to gain notoriety nationwide due to the popular TV show the Real World which introduced the mayhem that has Las Vegas to a new and youthful market and from there the Palms' exploded. Ghost bar and Moon are both on the top floors of the two towers but neither is considered to be a hotspot by anyone in the know, neither is Rain really for that matter. The pool is very popular on Fridays for their ""ditch Fridays Campaign"" that's about it. There are some interesting themed rooms, like the Barbie room which is decorated in all pink like a Barbie house and then there is the hardwood suite, which has a full size basket court inside it with fold a way Murphy beds inside the walls for stragglers from last night's game.
Nine Steakhouse is a true phenomenal that is always busy and full of beautiful people perhaps it's the inventive menu or perfect steaks or perhaps the other two true dining experiences at the Palms, no included the Mexican restaurant or the 24hr Cafe are actually on the top floor of the Towers and hence not very accessible.
On the opposite end of the property is Palms place, which is their attempt to a calmer hotel built during the economic and real estate boom of years past. The building sits most empty, a good place to find a nice room at a nice price if you don't mind being sort of alone and you don't mind the long walk to the actual casino itself.
On the lower level of the Palms sits Simon Restaurant and pool neither of which make money except on Sundays for a brunch which has found a nice niche and does very well. Picture young people in their pajamas eating pancakes and drinking from the bloody mary buffet.

The Highlights of the Monte Carlo Las Vegas
The Monte Carlo is actually located in between New York, New York and Aria, which was not a great place to be located, whenever Aria was under construction for three years, but now that it's actually fully built, it's actually in a fantastic location. The JabbaWockeeZ were from the show "America's Best Dance Crew" which weren't necessarily the best dancers in America's Best Dance Crew history, however because they had masks on their face, they were the only ones who capitalized on their name. So now, they can obviously be switched in-and-out, and have substitutes, have days off, whereas all the other dance crews were personalities in and of themselves. Diablo's is a great draw, it's outside on the strip, they have live music upstairs, weird bar games downstairs, it's good to watch football games or you know any sort of sporting events, but they also have the "Wheel of Death" where you can spin the wheel and you know, get weird shots, or you know, whatever the prize may be. Andre's is a great French restaurant. In minus five they borrow you, they bring you in and they give you a fur coat, and you go drink inside a freezer. The pub at Monte Carlo – another clever name is actually a really-really popular spot, probably the most popular thing at Monte Carlo inside Monte Carlo itself. Not necessarily a destination place, however if you're staying at the Monte Carlo, you tend to not be the big bottle customer, so they're actually smart and put in a pub in this location. Brand Steakhouse is probably their best restaurant, they have great steaks, actually a pre-invented menu, every once in a while they'll go and have a tribute to something. The last thing I attended there was a tribute to bacon. So they had an entire tasting menu, like twelve courses, all dedicated to bacon. Which, I love bacon although, to be perfectly honest I haven't had bacon since. And that was about a month ago, which I'm sad about.

The Highlights of Treasure Island Las Vegas
It is across the street from the Fashion Show mall, so the proximity to that is a stone's throw away, which is great shopping and it kind of matches the mentality of Treasure Island. Phil Ruffin purchased Treasure Island a few years ago from MGM Mirage Company, and has tried to revamp it, has tried to put in some new, different crowd attractors. He built Gilley's country bar which is right on the strip, actually connected to the Treasure Island Sirens show and it's absolutely packed at all times. It's a country bar on the strip, which I don't know why anybody didn't think of that earlier. The other big highlight for Treasure Island would be the Sirens of TI show. The Sirens of TI comes on four times a night during the winter and five times a night during the summer. They actually revamped the show a few years ago; it was a little stagnant where just two pirate ships were going at one another. And now they've incorporated really scantily-clad women, hence the Siren of TI. So they brought it a little bit less family, but a little bit more explosions and obviously something for the dads to look at whenever they're bringing their kids along.

The Highlights of the Palazzo Las Vegas
Sushi sama is one of the best restaurants in Las Vegas. An eclectic blend of Brazilian, Japanese and Peruvian influences. Its basically a diamond in the rough in the Palazzo shopping mall. The actual shops are good, new and trendy, there's just no body in them to shop. The one exception is Barney's which does do some bodies through the door, but nothing like they planned when they built a three story monster inside the biggest hotel in the world. Jersey Boys is a critically acclaimed broadway musical that was brought to Vegas by way of the Palazzo. Loved by all ages, I've never heard anybody give a bad review of the show. Lavo's undergone one of the the biggest transformations in the shortest amount of time. After a really poor initial offering the entire restaurant underwent a transformation from a Mediterranean menu to an Italian cuisine. The restaurant actually does a good crowd most days of the week and serves as a feeder for the night club of the same name on its second floor. Built for 18,000,000 dollars the club is absolutely beautiful during the day time, but unfortunately all the details that made the place so amazing are lost by the darkness and all the people. Still it's run by the creators of Marquis and Taos so they find a way to make it busy, but it's definitely their third best spot in town.

The Highlights of Wynn Las Vegas
The Wynn resort in Las vegas is head and shoulders above the rest. Its, five diamond five star absolutely the nicest place to stay in all of Las vegas and just made it better by building Encore. Encore has excess nightclub which is probably the biggest attraction inside the resort itself. Technically, excess is in their shopping mall which is in between the Wynn and Encore. Encore beach club is may be the most expensive pool party in the world. Its about 65 million dollars a build it opened up a year and a half ago and it is just lavish and actually bulldozes its own valet in order to put its pool party there. SW is a fantastic steak house which actually bears Steve Wynn's initials, has a great view of a different waterfall which has its own show. Although to be honest, the show really is disappointing. Tryst is still a very busy night club even though the crowd is kind of suffering a past couple of years especially with the opening of excess. Tryst does have a 50 foot waterfall inside of it which is pretty amazing to see if you have never seen it before. Its definitely worth stopping by. If I am shopping there, there is not a whole lot of it, its definitely the high end brand names. Encore has a little bit more of the trendy clothing but it is still you know obviously very expensive. They have a Ferrari and Maserati dealership which you basically have to justify even walking in there otherwise you have to pay in to see it as a museum. If you want to spend the most money you ever spent in your life on coffee they have just a regular coffee shop there that, the coffee is like 20 dollars for a cup of coffee and there is nothing special about it and its not great. Just happens to be next to the Ferrari shop inside the Wynn near the Encore. One of the final things there is the Garth Brooks Show which I mentioned before the Garth Brooks show is sold out every single night is one of those where even as a Las vegas local and somebody who is really connected it is still very very difficult to get a ticket because the Wynn takes so many of the tickets for their high end gaming. And all those people wanna go see the show so its definitely, if you have a way to get into it or you want to spend money with the ticket broker its definitely a show to go see. He sits on stage for the first hour and plays all his own songs and in the 2nd hour he sits on stage and plays everybody else's songs. And the last thing about the Wynn and Encore is that they have their own golf course which is unheard of considering how expensive the land is. Tom Fazio designed, Steve Wynn designed 18 hole golf course with water features and waterfalls and everything I see connect to the resort itself. If you are not staying there you could spend 500 bucks and buy your way on or if you are staying there you can usually get it for cheaper. Steve Wynn is the one who conceptualized the bay resort with the Mirage and one upped himself with the Bellagio and then found a way to one up himself again when people thought it was impossible because the Bellagio was perfect he went and built the Wynn and then one upped himself again and built the Encore. Whatever he does in Las vegas from here on out he could do no wrong he is truly a visionary on Vegas.

The Highlights of the Hard Rock Las Vegas
First and foremost, when you mention the Hard Rock, you gonna mention partying so you will probably mention Rehab. Rehab is the Sunday pool party that was created seven years ago that has had every celebrity, every DJ, every hip hop act, every person that's ever been to Las Vegas in the last 8 years has heard of Rehab or has been to Rehab. It's the kind of place that will do a million dollars on a Sunday during the day. Vanity is a new night club at the Hard Rock. Its run by the same people that run Rehab. It replaced Body English which the old night club at the Hard Rock. The best restaurant by far and away is Nobu, the only Nobu in town. It's as big of an attraction as the night life itself. And then the Hard Rock just expanded within the last year. They added the HRH tower which is an all suite tower and they added a paradise tower which is, they have some suites in it especially some suites which connect to the pool on the lower floors. However, the paradise tower is basically just some extra hotel rooms, the HRH tower is actually a really impressive tower.

The Highlights of the Las Vegas Venetian
Home to the biggest convention space in all of Las Vegas, The Venetian Palazzo is the largest world with more than 7000 rooms. The reception area is second to none and if you've ever been to Venice you'll truly appreciate how amazing this casino is. From the canal shops to the dining that is indoor yet outdoor looking to the Italian squares and the indoor gondola rides complete with singers and bridges. The Venetian is home to many Italian restaurants, too many to mention but rest assure you won't go hungry at this resort. Venetian is also home to Tao nightclub, Tao the restaurant and Tao beach all successful and hospitality venues fill up mostly Sunday through Thursday. The Blue Man Group and Phantom of the Opera both play five nights a week, a testament to the size of the Venetian and it's ability to carry two major shows. And in a separate theaters comedians like David Spade, Tim Allen and Rita Rudner perform to pack houses every night. Out front Madame Tussaud's famous wax museum creeps people out with how lifelike the statutes are if you're into that kind of thing.

The Highlights of the Bellagio Las Vegas
O, which is a Cirque du Soleil show is the best Cirque du Soleil. That show is absolutely amazing. It's been around for years and just keeps getting better over time. It's one of the most impressive shows you'll see. An art gallery that's inside the Bellagio encompasses some of the best art collections, traveling art shows; Picasso will do a show there, Monet will do a show there, Manet will do a show there. The fountains at the Bellagio out front are something that will never be done again, basically, because of the water shortage. Somebody that built a lake inside of Las Vegas is pretty amazing in the fact that each one of the fountains syncs up to a certain song is pretty impressive, especially at night to go stand out front of the Bellagio and to notice it's actually dancing along to the music itself is really ah-inspiring. The rooms at the Bellagio are second to none. They're rooms are gigantic, some of the biggest gamblers in the world stay there. Their nightlife, they have The Bank Nightclub which replaced Light a few years ago. The Bank Nightclub does really well, especially on Sunday nights it's definitely the busiest club in town on Sundays. Caramel is a lounge, but actually it does really well, especially during fights and what have you because you can go in there and watch it on closed circuit TV. They have a wide variety of restaurants. Prime is a fantastic steakhouse by Jean-Georges. Yellow tail is fantastic sushi and Japanese fusion. Fix is kind of the more fun atmosphere which is rare for a Bellagio-type hotel which is usually pretty stuffy. Sensi is another restaurant that's amazing that has kind of an eclectic bento box feel where you can get four different types of meals all at the same time. The parking is fantastic at the Bellagio, and while it's kind of a pain to get in the front door, if you know to get dropped off at North Valet there's never a wait and it's actually a great place to grab a taxi if you don't wanna wait in line.

The Highlights of the MGM Grand Las Vegas
KA is one of the many shows done by Cirque du Soleil, and while not considered to be the best one in town, it's certainly an amazing performance. Wet Republic is one the busiest, one of the hottest pool parties in Las Vegas. In its third season Wet Republic booked some of the best DJs in the world on a regular basis, and the crowds and the numbers definitely show it. It has a separate valet for locals and a seemingly open checkbook for booking talent. The Crazy Horse Paris is more like a show of the past with performers on stage and very little crowd interaction. Still, for what it is, the girls are beautiful and you don't need to leave your hotel. If you're a gambler and will to spend a lot of money on your hotel room, the MGM does have some amazing suites and villas. The Skylofts are a fairly recent addition to the MGM, which are basically big apartments, mostly two stories with a very contemporary feel and look to them. And nearby is the MGM mansion which encompasses some of the most lavish and secret rooms in Las Vegas; some even have multiple swimming pools inside and they're upward of 10,000 square feet. One final experience at the MGM is the lion habitat which showcases direct descendants of Leo, the MGM lion that roars at the beginning of every MGM movie past and present. The clear cage is perfectly visible from the casino floor and free to the public to watch.

The Highlights of the Excalibur
There aren't many highlights of the Excalibur, unless you enjoy the smell of red carpet. First and foremost if you are group of females, Thunder from Down Under is their male stripper view. All the guys are actually from Australia or can really fake an accent. It's actually supposed to be a better show than Chippendale's. I don't know, you have to like Australians in order to believe that. But it isn't a very very popular show. Also the Tournament of the kings is a weird dinner show that has jousting and they feed you which is great. It's actually pretty entertaining, it's for all ages, but I know lot of grownups that are really really entertained by it. And then the last one is Dick's Last Resort which is bar restaurant theme. They are typically not known for their good food, but what they are really known for is their bad attitude. They intentionally give you poor service, not part of how they took off, but it's actually a popular concept. It's not just here in Vegas. There are lot of birthday parties that get thrown in there because, they make a big deal about it. They make you out of paper hats. If you are a kid or if you are an immature adult it's a fun place to go to.

The Highlights of the Golden Nugget Las Vegas
First and foremost, you can see the biggest golden nugget in the world. Its way way bigger than you think it is. They have it in a case along side I believe the third biggest golden nugget. Every last pool has a water slide which takes you through an actual shark tank itself. That's the only one I have heard of at least here in Las Vegas. There is also a zip line right outside the Golden Nugget that brings you about 50 feet above the Fremont Street experience. So you can kind of zip above the crowd below you and then still see the show from above you. The biggest highlight of the Golden Nugget is that its the nicest hotel downtown by far and away. Its nicer than every other hotel downtown combined together if you took everything amazing about all the other hotels. Rooms are clean and the gambling is good. Tom Breitling and Tim Poster went in there eight years ago and remodeled the place and really did a good job of bringing high end back to downtown Las Vegas.

The Highlights of the Luxor Las Vegas
Criss Angel has created a show on being vague and awfully good looking. He brought his TV magic to the live stage and teaming up with Vegas concert created the show called Believe, which seams to be a home run whenever it was pitched. But terrible reviews and just bad Luxor casino remodel, fallowed by the their nightclub product LAX undergoing massive management change due to IRS investigations lead to the demise of the couple years ago. A new bar called the Civil Row which was formally noir bar just opened up to add little more live. Cathouse is busy remodeling and redesigning their nightclubs slash restaurant concept. It's not bad, it's not great. They do after-hours and they often do speak-easy during a day. There is bodies which is a show that grossly enough shows you what a body looks like without a skin on it and in various forms and shows you diseases and it's truly gross. And there is a restaurant called Tacos and Tequilas also called TNT which is probably their trendiest. probably the most fun, it's kinda a high energy Mexican restaurant. It's usually a lot of there, which is kind of bizarre and I don't know why, but every single time I go there there's a ton of older ladies there hitting on the other guys. So if you are into that, amazingly enough, they've found the niche.

The Highlights of the Imperial Palace Las Vegas
The location is probably its best attribute other than the actual location on the strip. The (center?) 150 yard line. They do have an auto collection there. Which is the worlds largest, and they claim to be the finest classic car show room. And they have 100 million dollars worth of inventory there. Basically all of the cars are for sale. Which is pretty amazing, they're not just showcasing the cars. You buy a pass to go see the cars, where every car has a price on it. So, the nice thing is if you actually saw something you wanted you could drive away with a car that day.
Rockhouse is a rock and roll themed, low end, dive bar. Which is right off the strip. They have a daiquiri stand. Which is, no kidding, on the strip, and then you walk through that stand and it goes into the nightclub/bar. There's a lot of turn-and-burn mentality of it. It's not a place where you're going to bottle service or anything like that. Apparently, there's a place called Frank Marino's Viva Las Vegas. which is really good if you're into drag queens.

The Highlights of Rio Las Vegas
The Highlights of Rio Las Vegas: There's a wine cellar hidden in the basement of the Rio. It's a true gem in an otherwise forgotten casino, containing one of the biggest wine collections in the United States. The wine cellar is know for its inventive wine and cheese whites and you can also pick up a rare bottle of wine for your collection or a bottle of magnum of Rothschild's for that special occasion.
Two floors above the wine cellar is Martorano's Italian Restaurant, known for his bad-boy image and infinity for DJing and cooking at the same time. This nighttime destination is truly the only youthful place to eat at the Rio and it's next door to the Chippendale's show so it's a good spot to find a group of girls either coming or going to the show. That being said, the Chippendale's show is probably the number one attraction to the casino now that the World Series of Poker is said to be moving. But they also put the Chippendale show next to the exits so the casino doesn't reap all the benefits of the groups of women. Just bad planning I guess.
One shining light at the Rio is their high end suites known as the Palazzo suites. They actually existed before the Palazzo Hotel. They're big and very nice, they don't seem to belong at the Rio at all. Many high end gamblers stay there because of the private gambling in the back, where you never actually enter the Rio itself and because it's part of Cesar's entertainment they have access to the largest gambling database in the world.

The Highlights of Circus Circus Las Vegas
One thing about Circus Circus is they have an Adventure dome there, which is an indoor fairgrounds. The best time of year for locals especially is Halloween because they do actually throw an amazing Halloween party there; they do it all month, they have horror shops, they have an indoor roller coaster, but they make it Halloween-themed. It's the best Halloween show in Las Vegas and it doesn't depend on the weather because it's a dome. They have a few rides that are inside the Adventure dome itself. They have one that's called the Canyon Blaster which has a double corkscrew and goes 55 mph, which is pretty impressive considering you're actually indoors. They have a spinning disk, they have a Sponge Bob Square Pants ride, they have a Dora the Explorer, like 4-dimensional ride. They have a slingshot which is similar to the one on top of the Stratosphere; however, the fact that you're not on top of the Stratosphere kinda takes away from the terror. The steakhouse at Circus Circus is actually one of the best steakhouses in Las Vegas, which is pretty rare considering it's inside Circus Circus. They actually have a Rock & Rita's place as well, which is a pretty good burger bar. They serve breakfast there. But it's a party atmosphere inside Circus Circus and fairly new as well.

The Highlights of Mandalay Bay Las Vegas
The highlights of Mandalay Bay right now will actually change within the next 18 months. Currently, some of the cool things there are the Foundation Room, which is on top of the actual Mandalay Bay tower itself. It is a private club, absolutely beautiful, a little bit dated. It's high-end for the House of Blues crowd. House of Blues is their concert, bar that's inside Mandalay Bay. They have a wave pool there. It's second to none in Las Vegas. They have Moorea which is a high-end, topless adult pool. Strip steak is a fantastic restaurant. Aureole I've mentioned before; Aureole is one of the best restaurants in Las Vegas both for atmosphere and for food. They actually just remodeled it as well. Mandalay Bay is actually undergoing a transformation. The Lion King is going away and they're putting in a Michael Jackson - Cirque du Soleil experience. Right now it's currently a traveling Michael Jackson show, but this is gonna be the home base for it, and they're also going to have a Michael Jackson museum, a Michael Jackson tribute, they're really going heavily into Michael Jackson. And then where Rum Jungle used to be will be a new nightclub. Another highlight of Mandalay Bay itself is THE hotel which is the all-suite tower of Mandalay Bay. They have great rooms; they don't really have any amazing rooms, but all the rooms are good. It's obviously very popular for the convention space which is attached to Mandalay Bay.

How to Get Free Drinks in Vegas
Unless you're a hot girl you probably don't even know that drinks cost money. Vegas does have a few ways for you to drink for free both, by the book and under the radar. The legal answer is you need to be gambling and the casino or bar is happy to give you free drinks. If you gamble enough you can get as much alcohol as you want for free. Even if you win the drinks are still free as long as you're actually, gambling. The problem with the gambling is that you're doing just that, gambling and chances are if you gamble, you're going to lose. They didn't build all these billion dollar resorts by giving away money. So, how do you get around this? The best way is the everlasting hundred dollar bill method. Step one, get a hundred dollar bill and a friend and sit down at the bar right in front of the bartender, order your drinks from the bartender, and then, order your drinks from the bartender. Nothing outrageous one drink as piece and then wait for them to return to put the hundred dollar bill in the machine. He will see your hundred dollars in credit and assume you will be gambling. Some people will tell you you can use a twenty dollar bill, but I've found that the bartender will wait to see how much you gamble before comping you and your friend with a twenty dollar bill and with the hundred it's usually no problem with the two drinks and especially, because he's fishing for a tip. After you get your drinks get into a conversation with your friend about whatever. Wait for the bartender to walk away to serve someone else and then, simply cash out and walk away. No need to run because he doesn't know if you've gambled or not so you're not guilty of anything wrong in his eyes besides not tipping and for all he know you gambled a hundred at a time and lost it all. Repeat the process at a different bar preferably not in the same casino, but definitely not within the site of the same bartender. It's a little immoral, but then, so's ten bucks for a beer. Thank you for the tip and the hit. I hope to do more of your hits tonight.

Fun Things to Do on the Las Vegas Strip
The pirate show, called "Sirens at TI" is a cool, free show, that can be seen from the side walk four or five times a day depending on the season. Next door at the mirage is another free show that runs every hour from 8pm till midnight called "The Volcano" its been ramped up from the eruption below and to include fire bursting out of the lake below. But if you don't get to see it don't worry you actually aren't missing too much. Across the street, in an ally way tucked between hairs and flamingo is carnival court. Its an outdoor festival that has oddities and a fair like atmosphere, There's a stage with live performances and a bar that boasts some of the best flair bartenders in the country, Even if you don't drink there that impressive so you should go by and check it out. Down a bit further and back across the street is the best free show in Vegas, the Bellagio fountains, they run from 3pm until midnight every thirty minutes or every fifteen minutes depending on the time of day. So don't fret if you miss it, another one is just around the corner. The Eiffel Tower at the Paris hotel across the street from the Bellagio fountains, has an observation deck and a restaurant inside of it, both of which provide amazing views of not only the Bellagio fountains but the entire Las Vegas strip. Sometimes the lines get a bit long, but if you can stand the standing around, its actually a really nice view. Further down the street and across the strip is "New York, New York" which boast a roller coaster that weaves you through the buildings that make up the New York skyline. The "Cyclone" as its called, runs all day and night weather permitting. starting around 10am and finishing close to 1am on the weekends.

Guide to Shopping in Las Vegas
Shopping in Las Vegas consists of four tiers, ranging from the outlet malls all the way up to the flagship designer stores. The Bells outlet malls in the South end of the strip, about a mile or two pass me all day. It has a good Nike outlet, a good Calvin Klein outlet, and it's a real place to buy Chuck Taylors at the Converse store. And I'll see any reason to pay full price to work out your T-shirts, underwear, and shoes that haven't changed style in 35 years. The next level is your everyday shopping which is done at the Fashion Show Mall. Here you have your Macys, your Bloomingdales, and your Neiman Marcus, and while they do have nice things, you can also find your Forever 21, and your Apple store and your Abercrombie and Fitch, if that's your thing. It's located on the North end of the strip across in the wind and next door to Treasure Island. The mall definitely has the best variety and is the only one with actual department stores in it, vastly different from all the other shopping experiences in Vegas. The next level is the Forum shops in Caesar's Palace and the Mall de Palazzo. The Forum shops are the best laid out in my opinion, but being predominantly one story, it's a bit of height from one end to the other. When you do eventually get to the new edition, the stores over there are really disappointing. The Palazzo is a maze of good shopping and zero waiting because nobody shops here with the exception of the employees of the Palazzo and the Venetian I would guess, just out of sheer convenience. It's high-end and completely empty. Even the Barney's has nobody in it. The final tier is crystals at Aria which looks more like an airplane hangar with huge open spaces and baffling color scheme. It does have some amazing stores, the Tom Ford is gigantic, the Louis Vuitton is three stories. Originally it was said that every store that was being put in there had to be the worldwide flagship, but it then went out of the window after the fall in the economy and the lackluster reception of the City Center.

How to Get Discount Tickets to a Las Vegas Show
There's a couple of different strategies. There are actually ticket stands that are on the strip that you can find on, like, the non-Bellagio side of the strip. They actually buy the tickets in bulk so they get a bit of a discount. But if you're actually, truly, want the free experience and you could stand a heavy sales pitch, almost every casino has a kiosk for time shares. Which if you go and listen to their pitch, you can get free tickets to a wide variety of shows.
Typically, the shows that you get tickets to are actually the shows that are inside the casino where the kiosk is at. So don't go listen to a sales pitch for somebody inside Planet Hollywood if you don't want to see a show that's inside Planet Hollywood. You know, take the walk, go down to Caesar's Palace if you want to go watch a show that's in Caesar's Palace. Just kind of a typical rule of thumb, they don't want you to leave the property so if there's gonna be a sales pitch for something that's making you leave the property, they don't want you to leave again whenever they're giving you the tickets.
Other than that, there is definitely discount websites. Your Groupons and your, you know, Living Socials get amazing deals on tickets to shows. 50, 60, 75% off, you know, just depending on the show, depending on the day.

What Are the Best Vegas Shows?
It truly depends on what you like. The Cirque late shows like ""Love" in the Mirage or "O" in the Bellagio, they're beautiful and they're playful, and it's amazing to see how perfectly executed each show is night after night. They also have one called "Zumanity" inside New York New York that definitely is not for children, but it's cool for stay spots to see if your partner is going to be good in bed or not. There's "La Reve" inside the Wynn which is actually Dragone who actually started Cirque de Soliel with Guy Laliberté, and then split off from him after the "O" show. "The Lion King" is inside Mandalay Bay. It's actually shutting down at the end of this year. It's going to turn into a Michael Jackson Cirque show, you know shocker here's another Cirque show. "Blue Man Group" is an obviously, very popular show at the Venetian. And there's typically not too many shows you can't get tickets for a day off or week off, with a few exceptions. My favorite show in Las Vegas right now is probably the "Love" show. I think the music is amazing. Anything that has to do with Cirque in my opinion, it's some of the top quality. The "O" show is another one. Once again, it's a Cirque show. However, just the actual stage and production itself, it's truly amazing in that they built this. I believe it's a 20 million dollar stage that works seamlessly, and the shows are so fantastic that they have all live music playing and performing, and it's the little things like that really get my attention and certainly I've seen every show in Vegas. So you know it's a really something that's amazing for me to go to see whenever my parents come to town or whenever family comes to town is really and truly amazing.

How to See Blue Man Group in Vegas
Our easiest way to go see the Blue Man Group in Las Vegas is to go to the Venetian where they're actually located. Go to their box office or go hit up your casino host if you've been gambling.
They go five days a week, two shows a day. It's obviously a very popular show ,however, not an impossible show to get tickets for.
You could also go on to the Venetian's website. Purchase tickets through their website itself or go to a ticket broker or Vegas.com, purchase tickets to the show there.
Like I said, it's not that difficult to get it in advance, however, once the tickets are gone they are gone. There typically isn't a way to get tickets once they're actually sold out because it's not like a night club or it's not like a restaurant where they overbook. Once the tickets are gone then they're sold out so then you're relying on a ticket broker where you're paying double the price or triple the price depending on how much you want it.

How to Get Comps at Las Vegas Casinos
The answer is very easy, you need to gamble. Doesn't matter what type of gambling, but what does matter is the casino can track your play. If you are just looking for a free drink, just sit down and play, someone will come by and take your drink order. And as long as you are playing, your drinks will be free. Keeping in mind you cant gamble on nickel every five minutes and expect any free drinks. If you are looking for a more serious comp you need to get a players card, which gathers your information and then keeps track of how much and how long you play. And you get coupons or comps in the mail for smaller gamblers. Real gamblers play at the tables, black jack, roulette, craps and for all these the dealers or pit bosses will keep track of your play. All the players will get tallied and the percentage of what you gambled will turn into comp that you can redeem immediately or save for your next trip.

Guide to Las Vegas Restaurants
The good news is whatever you're looking for, we got it. Every hotel typically has a steakhouse, sushi, Italian, a fish house, and either a 24 hour cafe and/or buffet. You just have to pick your passion. Usually the price and somewhat the quality and ambiance matches the casino. Fancy diner experiences flourish at the Wind and Bellagio. For more casual and fun eateries at the Hard Rock and The Palms. And the truly trendy, hipster locations about the Cosmopolitan. If you are looking for the best bargains then head to downtown. You can find good food at better prices because the rent isn't so high. So sometimes that translates into more money spent on ingredients and quality. But in my experience, you get what you pay for in Las Vegas.
Some great spots around town. The Bellagio has Yellow tail which is fantastic sushi and japanese fusion food. The Bellagio has Prime. Aureole at Mandalay Bay has an amazing 50 foot wine fairy that will go and- if you order a bottle of wine they will hoist her up on a pulley system so it's a pretty amazing experience. Next you have swans that are out back that you can feed while you are inside the restaurant. One bit my mother once.
Next on top of Mandalay Bay is beautiful. They actually have a night club that's connected to it. Inside the Luxor, there's no beautiful restaurants at Luxor so you can pretty well skip that. Monte Carlo has a Diablo's which is up front which is a more casual kind of bar, kind of restaurant area. Inside they have Andre's which is a really nice French restaurant. Aria has Todd English P.U.B. which is actually like bar food but it's the only bar food place in all of Aria so it kills it during the day. American Fish is the one of the best menus I've ever seen inside Aria.
At the Cosmopolitan STK is super popular. Scarpetta is a really popular restaurant. Milos is that great fishery inside the Cosmopolitan. Venetian has TAO, but that really more of an atmosphere than it is great food. Not that the food isn't great but that's not the reason why people go there. LAVO inside the Palazzo has the best meatballs in town. Palazzo has Sushi Samba which is really like kind of a hidden gem. They have one in New York and one in Miami but the one in Vegas to me is a different atmosphere because it's actually inside the mall, inside the Palazzo which the mall is completely dead and the Sushi Samba just has fantastic atmosphere. There's always good looking people, there's a great bar that's right inside, they have a lounge that's inside the back called Sugercane. So, that's another great hidden restaurant.

How to Find the Best Buffets in Las Vegas
The best buffets in Las Vegas would definitively depend on what you are looking for in your buffet experience. Some places may excel on sea food such as Rio others are known for their French cuisine like the Paris. The biggest ones are at the Rio and at the Planet Hollywood and offer the widest selections. The Bellagio and the Wynn are commonly know as the two nicest buffets, with the highest quality foods and highest prices. The MGM is now offering an unlimited passes to buffets at some other properties for additional price, which means you can visit the buffets as many times as you want, during the given day. Cesar's entertainment offers twenty four hour pass which is good at seven other casinos, so you are not limited to just one for your selections. If you're go purchase this pass, pick whichever meal you like best and buy the pass late in that meal time at the first day. That way you can go out at the next day and it won't be expired yet. One truly buffet is the Sunday Sterling Brunch at Bally's which will run you eighty five dollars a piece. At over double the price of the next priciest place it gives you an unlimited champagne with lobster, crab legs, caviar and variety of other foods not normally on brunch menu.

What's Las Vegas Weather Like?
The weather in Las Vegas is not 105 like everybody thinks. Sure, June through August is way too hot. Wherever you go from air conditioned hotels to air conditioned cabs and limos, to air conditioned restaurants and clubs. Unless you're actually walking the strip, you don't even notice.
The warmer it is outside, the colder it is inside. So don't forget to bring a cover up or a little jacket when you're going out at night. She's always chilly because the casinos blast the AC to entice the tourists on the strip to come inside and gamble and spin.
For the most part, March through May is beautiful. June through August is too hot and September and October amazing weather again with 80 and calm winds. The winter months are kind of a crap shoot. It's usually a little bit windy and either in the 40s and 50s. But I happen to love jackets and I get to show them off during those months so, at least it's not snowing.

Words to live by by Baz Luhrmann "Everbody's Free to Wear Sunscreen"
09/08/2011 - 10:54pm | Comments: ()

If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it. The long term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience. I will dispense this advice now.
Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth; oh never mind; you will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they have faded. But trust me, in 20 years you’ll look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can’t grasp now how much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you really looked. You’re not as fat as you imagine.
Don’t worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum. The real troubles in your life are about to be things that never crossed your worried mind; the kind that blindside you at 4pm on some idle Tuesday.
Do one thing everyday that scares you.

Sing.
Don’t be reckless with other people’s hearts, don’t put up with people who are reckless with yours.

Floss.
Don’t waste your time on jealousy; sometimes you’re ahead, sometimes you’re behind…the race is long, and in the end, it’s only with yourself.
Remember the compliments you receive, forget the insults; if you succeed in doing this, tell me how.
Keep your old love letters, throw away your old bank statements.

Stretch.
Don’t feel guilty if you don’t know what you want to do with your life…the most interesting people I know didn’t know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives, some of the most interesting 40 year olds I know still don’t.

Get plenty of calcium.
Be kind to your knees, you’ll miss them when they’re gone.
Maybe you’ll marry, maybe you won’t, maybe you’ll have children, maybe you won’t, maybe you’ll divorce at 40, maybe you’ll dance the funky chicken on your 75th wedding anniversary…what ever you do, don’t congratulate yourself too much or berate yourself either – your choices are half chance, so are everybody else.
Enjoy your body, use it every way you can. Don’t be afraid of it, or what other people think of it, it’s the greatest instrument you’ll ever own.
Dance, even if you have nowhere to do it but in your own living room. Read the directions, even if you don’t follow them.
Do NOT read beauty magazines, they will only make you feel ugly.
Get to know your parents, you never know when they’ll be gone for good.
Be nice to your siblings; they are the best link to your past and the people most likely to stick with you in the future.
Understand that friends come and go, but for the precious few you should hold on.
Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography and lifestyle because the older you get, the more you need the people you knew when you were young.
Live in New York City once, but leave before it makes you hard; live in Northern California once, but leave before it makes you soft.

Travel.
Accept certain inalienable truths, prices will rise, politicians will philander, you too will get old, and when you do you’ll fantasize that when you were young prices were reasonable, politicians were noble and children respected their elders. Respect your elders. Don’t expect anyone else to support you. Maybe you have a trust fund, maybe you have a wealthy spouse; but you never know when either one might run out.
Don’t mess too much with your hair, or by the time you're 40, it will look 85.
Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it’s worth. But trust me on the sunscreen…

Good Tips
09/08/2011 - 10:59pm | Comments: ()

In daylight hours, refresh yourself of these things to do in an emergency situation...
This is for you, and for you to share with your wife, your children, everyone you know.
After reading these 9 crucial tips, pass them on to someone you care about.
It never hurts to be careful in this crazy world we live in. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

1. Tip from Tae Kwon Do :
The elbow is the strongest point on your body. If you are close enough to use it, do!

2. Learned this from a tourist guide.
If a robber asks for your wallet and/or purse, DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM. Toss it away from you....
Chances are that he is more interested in your wallet and/or purse than you, and he will go for the wallet/purse.
RUN LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!

3. If you are ever thrown into the trunk of a car, kick out the back tail lights and stick your arm out the hole and start waving like crazy.. The driver won't see you, but everybody else will. This has saved lives.

4. Women have a tendency to get into their cars after shopping, eating, working, etc., and just sit (doing their checkbook, or making a list, etc.
DON'T DO THIS!)
The predator will be watching you, and this is the perfect opportunity for him to get in on the passenger side, put a gun to your head, and tell you where to go.
AS SOON AS YOU GET INTO YOUR CAR , LOCK THE DOORS AND LEAVE..
If someone's in the car with a gun to your head
DO NOT DRIVE OFF,
Repeat: DO NOT DRIVE OFF!
Instead gun the engine and speed into anything, wrecking the car. Your Air Bag will save you.
If the person is in the back seat they will get the worst of it.
As soon as the car crashes bail out and run. It is better than having them find your body in a remote location.

5. A few notes about getting into your car in a parking lot, or parking garage:
A.) Be aware: look around you, look into your car, at the passenger side floor ,and in the back seat.
B.) If you are parked next to a big van, enter your car from the passenger door. Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling them into their vans while the women are attempting to get into their cars.
C.) Look at the car parked on both sides of your vehicle,... If a male is sitting alone in the seat nearest your car, you may want to walk back into the mall, or work, and get a guard/policeman to walk yu back out.
IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. (And better paranoid than dead.)

6. ALWAYS take the elevator instead of the stairs.
Stairwells are horrible places to be alone and the perfect crime spot. (This is especially true at NIGHT!)

7. If the predator has a gun and you are not under his control,
ALWAYS RUN!
The predator will only hit you (a running target) 4 in 100 times; and even then, it most likely WILL NOT be a vital organ. RUN, Preferably in a zig -zag pattern!

8. As women, we are always trying to be sympathetic:
STOP
It may get you raped, or killed. Ted Bundy, the serial killer, was a good-looking, well educated man, who ALWAYS played
on the sympathies of unsuspecting women. He walked with a cane, or a limp, and often asked 'for help' into his vehicle or with his vehicle, which is when he abducted his next victim.

9. Another Safety Point:
Someone just told me that her friend heard a crying baby on her porch the night before last, and she called the police because it was late and she thought it was weird.
The police told her 'Whatever you do, DO NOT open the door!!' The lady then said that it sounded like the baby had crawled near a window, and she was worried that it would crawl to the street and get run over. The policeman said, 'We already have a unit on the way, whatever you do, DO NOT open the door!!' He told her that they think a serial killer has a baby's cry recorded and uses it to coax women out of their homes thinking that someone dropped off a baby. He said they have not verified it, but have had several calls by women saying that they hear baby's cries outside their doors when they're home alone at night.

10. Water scam!
If you wake up in the middle of the night to hear all your taps outside running or what you think is a burst pipe,
DO NOT GO OUT TO INVESTIGATE!
These people turn on all your outside taps full blast so that you will go out to investigate and then they attack.
Please always be alert, aware and stay safe!

Great words! This article is not only for relationships, but also friendships
09/08/2011 - 11:04pm | Comments: ()

Until you resolve your past, you are not free to have a future
Understand that your relationship with yourself has a profound affect on every other relationship in your life. Every piece of you past that you still carry around with you obscures people's view of the real you.
Do whatever it takes to get proud of you
If you can't dance why would anyone want to dance with you? Stop feeling bad about the things you can't do, and focus on the things you can. Better yet, get a great teacher and learn something new.
Love yourself enough to take care of your own needs
What does it take to make you really happy, to feel cared for and cared about? You need to know. If you don't know, whom would you suggest I ask? Take the time to figure out what it is about things or people that make you truly happy.
Understand you are not responsible for fulfilling the needs of others
There is a tendency for us to go through our lives busily doing whatever it takes to make the people around us happy in the vain hope it will win us more love and maybe even ensure that they never abandon us. This is hugely draining and largely unrewarding.
Recognize and respect that you simply cannot change other people
Stop wasting your energy trying to change others, and change yourself if you're not happy with the situation. Understand that both of you are probably stuck in the fantasy that life would be so much easier if your partner was just a little more like you.
Understand that people are always doing their very best in life
When everything is taken into account everyone is always doing his or her very best in life. Rarely does anyone set out to deliberately upset you or ruin your day. This is also true of you. When you feel hurt or disappointed by other people, it's all too easy to blame them. We all have baggage and everyone has a past. When you understand this about yourself and other people you'll find you have a lot more time and energy for your life.
Accept the people in your life because you made the choice to be with them
The relationships you get into are not accidental. We are generally attracted to someone who manifests something we would like to reclaim about ourselves. This is why the most confusing issues with our partners are the same as our most confusing issues with our parents, siblings or even ourselves. Life gets easier the moment we understand that these relationships are a part of our healing.

Sleepover at bus company
By: Jenny (RhiannonGirl)
I had a dream that I was walking along this road and I saw three guys riding their bikes and another guy driving in this little car. The car was a old blue and white Cadillac and then it turned into a bike. The guys and I were going along this road until we came to a dock and a lake. The guys went in the lake with their bikes and some went off the dock and into the water. They wanted me to go in the water, but I didn't want to.
Then for some reason out of the blue, I called on my cell phone to Karen the school bus company's dispatcher. I called her and talked to her. I asked her, "You're still at the bus company?"
She said, "Yep."
I said, "You mean there's still buses going around at this time at 11pm?"
She said, "Yeah."
I said, "But it's a Thursday and you have to wake up tomorrow and have to be at the bus company at 4 or 5am. How do you do that?"
She said, "I just do." Then she said, "Hey want to come over tonight? We're having a sleepover here."
I said, "Sure. So that's why you're there so late."
When I got over by the bus company, there were a whole bunch of people and kids there. I think they were teachers and students. I went over to them and said, "Hi!" I then asked them all if they are from any schools around Danbury and they all were mostly from Redding, Ridgefield, and Danbury.
One teacher asked me where I go to school. I said, "I don't go to school anymore, I graduated from Danbury High years ago."
The teacher said, "And when was that?"
I said, "In 2001."
She said, "That's not years ago, that's only 3 years ago."
I said, "I know, but it does seem like a long time." Then I flew up in the air and went inside to the bus company.
I saw Karen at her desk and she told me to come right in and help her fold towels. She had a sleeping bag all rolled out for me to sleep on. I then lied down and all of a sudden, all these teachers and students that were outside, came inside. Now the building was full. And at that time, I needed to go to the bathroom. I searched for a bathroom when I found one. When I was done, this woman came through the door. The woman was very ugly looking.
Then I went back to the room with my sleeping bag and the room was empty. I said to myself, Where did everybody go? Where's Karen? Then I just shook my head and went to sleep.

My stories that I wrote in high school

The Creature
On a normal spring Tuesday afternoon, my friends Marie, Lauri, and I were outside in the courtyard of Danbury High school’s cafeteria.
As we were walking, we saw this sewer that was dented in the ground.
Marie pointed at it and asked, “What is that?”
I said, “It’s where that creature lives.”
Marie and Lauri looked at each other puzzled.
Lauri turned up her nose; “Creature?”
“You never heard of the creature before?” I asked with my eyes wide open.
Lauri said, “No.”
I took a breath and said, “Well, some say he comes out at night roaming the school looking for kids who are sneaking around the school. He even comes out in the middle of classes and looks for kids who don’t have passes.”
Marie asked, “What happens when he finds them?”
I said, “He eats them.”
Lauri and Marie were frightened.
I asked, “You know why it’s dented in?”
“Why?” Asked Marie.
I took another breath and said, “The sewer is dented in because when he finds the kids, he brings them down to the sewer and the kids try to get out, so they bang on it. But, no one hears them and the kids get eaten.”
Marie then asked, “What will happen if you stand on the sewer?”
I said, “Nothing. But, if you jump on it, you will fall in and he will eat you.”
Lauri said, “I’m not standing on it.”
Marie said, “Me neither,” shaking her head.
I asked, “Do you guys really want to see if there’s something living down there?”
Lauri and Marie said, “Yeah.”
I said, “Okay. We will go on Friday and we will try to video tape it and put it on a website or show it in school. So, kids will know more about it.”
Marie asked, “Will we be like that show Freaky Links?”
I said, “Yep.”
Marie said aloud, “This is going to be so cool!”
Lauri said, “And freaky.”
On Friday night, Lauri, Marie, and I came to school with Marie’s video camera. We stood behind a wall outside and waited for the creature to come out of his sewer home. When all of a sudden, we saw him.
I grabbed the camera and focused in on him. He was all green, his face was all slimy, wet, and gross looking, big ears, three eyes, he smelled like rotten eggs, and he made a sound that sounded like bubbling slime.
Then out of nowhere Marie sneezed, "Achoo!”
I said whispering, “Shhh!”
But, it was too late, he had seen us.
I shouted, “Run or he’ll eat you!”
So, we ran as fast as we could and he was still coming towards us.
“He’s right behind us!” Lauri said as we were turning the corner from the courtyard.
When we had got to Marie’s car in the upper student parking lot, we jumped in the car and drove as fast as we could. When we thought we had lost him, (we were at the bottom of the hill on Clapboard Ridge), we all took a breath, “Whew!”
Then we heard something on the car. Boom! Boom!
Marie cried out, “He’s on the car!”
Marie swerved the car hoping he would fall off, but he didn’t.
I yelled, “Slam on the brakes really hard!”
Marie slammed on the brakes and as he fell off, he left this slimy residue behind.
Then Marie pushed the gas and we drove home looking back to see if he was following us.
But, he wasn’t because we saw that when he had gotten up, he was so dizzy. And as he was walking in the road, this big truck came and smashed him and we had it all on videotape.

Snowflake and The Seven Rabbits
In a faraway land called Winter Wonderland lived an 18-year-old girl named Snowflake. She lived in a house deep in the woods with her mean, abusive mother.
Snowflake's mother tells her to clean the house, but Snowflake refuses and her mother starts to slap and beat her. Snowflake decides to leave her mother and live on her own.
When Snowflake realizes it's hard for her to live on her own, she starts to cry, "Oh, I can't live on my own. It's too hard. I don't even have any friends. I'm so lonesome."
As she cries, her tears turn into icicles. When suddenly, a little rabbit hears her.
He hops over to her and says, "Hi. I'm Snowy. Why are you crying?"
Snowflake said, "My mother was mean to me and I ran away. Now I'm alone and have no friends."
The rabbit had an idea. He said, "Why don't you come live with me, my 3 brothers and 3 sisters?"
Snowflake said, "I can? Oh thank you!”
So, Snowy brought Snowflake to his igloo.
When Snowflake got to the rabbits’ house, Snowy introduced Snowflake to his brothers and sisters, “Everybody, this is Snowflake. Snowflake, these are my brothers, Whitely, Slushy, Snowdrop, and my sisters, Snow White, Snowball, and Icicle.”
The rabbits all said, “Hi Snowflake!” together.
Snowflake said, “Hi.”
Snowflake acted like their mother. She cleaned and cooked. Sometimes the rabbits helped her or the animals outside helped her. Snowflake was very happy she was living there.
When it was Christmas, the rabbits went out into the woods to get Snowflake a present. While they were looking for a present, a woman came by and knocked on the door of the rabbits’ house.
Snowflake opened the door and the woman said, “I’m selling candy canes for 25 cents a piece. Would you like to buy one?”
Snowflake said, “Okay.” Snowflake bought one and she licked it. Two minutes later, Snowflake fainted and went into a coma.
The woman said, “Ha, ha. I’ve killed her!”
When the rabbits came home they said, “Snowflake, we got you a pres-…” They were shocked to see that Snowflake was in a coma. They thought she would never wake up.
They had a funeral. They all said their prayers.
When out in the distance, they saw a prince coming their way. The prince said, “I am Prince Winter. I have come to kiss the lovely Snowflake.”
So, the Prince knelt down and kissed Snowflake.
Snowflake woke up and said, “Oh, my prince has come!”
The prince said, “Won’t you come live with me in my ice castle and be my wife?”
Snowflake said, “Yes.”
Princess Snowflake and Prince Winter lived happily ever after.

Marvin The Martian Saves New York City
Marvin is in his office when suddenly the telephone rings. “Ring, ring.” Marvin answers the phone, ”Hello? Oh, hi Mayor. What’s up?”
Marvin, you’ve got to come to Earth quick! The Aliens are here!” Shouted the Mayor.
“I’ll be there.”
“Well, hurry!”
Marvin hung up and went to find his family and friends. “Mark, Marshall, and everybody. Max you come along too,” he said to his dog. “We have to go and fight off the Aliens.”
“Not again!” Complained Mark and Marshall.
“Sadly yes,” said Marvin.
So, Marvin and everybody got in their spaceships and went down to Earth. When they got there they found the Mayor by the Empire State Building.
“Good. You’re here. The Aliens are over there. Good luck!”
When Marvin saw Adam the Alien he said, “Die! You Alien garbage!”
Adam said, “Ooh, look. Marvin is going to kill me. I’m scared.”
“You better be,” said Marvin pointing the laser gun at Adam.
Marvin shot Adam and that was the end of all the Aliens.
Marvin said to his friends, ”Don’t worry they’re dead. We’ve won!”
“Yea, we won!” Shouted Marshall and Mark.
Then Marvin went to the Mayor.
“Thank you Marvin for saving New York.”
“It was no problem.”
Then Marvin turned to his friends, “Well guys, its time to go back to Mars.”
So, Marvin and all his friends went back to Mars.

Courtney The Worm And Jessica The Fish
One day on a very rainy afternoon Courtney and Jessica were in math class doing their usual work. When suddenly, poof! Poof! Jessica and Courtney disappeared.
Courtney said to herself, "Where am I?" She looked around and said, "Aaah! I'm a worm! Gross!"
Jessica also said to herself, "Why am I in water?" Then she looked around and said, "Aaah! I'm a fish!"
Jessica and Courtney didn't know what to do. So, they decided to do what fish and worms do. Worms dug under dirt, so Courtney did that. And fish swim, so Jessica did that
After school was over Alice and Julia decided to go fishing. They found a worm (Courtney) and put it on the hook.
Jessica saw Courtney the worm and came after her. Courtney was screaming, "No! Please don't eat me! No! Nooooo!"
But then, gulp! Jessica ate Courtney.
Then Jessica was being pulled out of the water. Jessica said, "What's going on?"
Julia got Jessica and said to Alice, "Let's go home and cook this fish."
When Jessica heard that she screamed, "No! Please don't cook me!"
Then when Alice and Julia got home they cooked Jessica and ate her. "Mmmm. That was good," Alice said licking her lips.
Julia said, "Yeah it was."
So, that was the end of Courtney and Jessica. They will never bother Julia and Alice ever again.

The Johnson Kids
Sara and Merlin's New Sister
One sunny May day, Mrs. Johnson was in the hospital having a baby. Her daughter, Sara was so excited, she called her best friend/neighbor, Jen, "Hi Jen, my mom's in the hospital having a baby. Do you want to go over there with me?"
Jen said, "Sure. I'll be right over."
So, Jen went to Sara's house and got in her car.
When they got there, Sara asked the woman at the desk, "I would like to see my mom, Julie Johnson."
The lady looked in her book, "She's in room B12."
Sara thanked her and called to Jen, "Come on, let's go."
When Sara and Jen got to the room, Sara said in a happy voice, "Hi mom! I am here with Jen. Where's the baby?"
Mrs. Johnson pointed to the crib; "She's right here."
Jen cooed, "Oh, she's so cute! What's her name?"
Mrs. Johnson said, "Nimue."
Jen said, "That's a pretty name."
Mrs. Johnson smiled, "Thanks." Then she said to Nimue in a baby voice, "My little Nimmi!"
Jen rolled her eyes then turned to Sara and said, "Hey. Where's Merlin? He should be here."
Sara said, "He's at Jake's house. He said he doesn't want another sister."
Jen said, "Well, he's going to have to live with it. But, I bet in a few years he'll get along with her."
Sara shrugged, "Yeah. Maybe."
Jen turned back to Mrs. Johnson, "When are you coming home?"
Mrs. Johnson said, "Tomorrow."
Sara sighed, "Well mom, we'll be going now."
Mrs. Johnson added, "While you're out, can you pick up Merlin?"
Sara sighed again, "Yeah. Sure."
When they got to Jake's house, Sara yelled, "Come on Merlin, it's time to go home!"
Then when they got back to Sara's house, Jen said excited, "You know what would be a great idea?"
Sara said, "No, what?"
Jen said, "How about if we have a welcoming home party for Nimue? We will invite all your friends, neighbors, and relatives. "
Sara got excited, "Yeah. That is a great idea! It will be like a baby shower."
The next day when Nimue and Mrs. Johnson were coming home from the hospital, all of Sara's relatives, friends, and neighbors were hiding. Then when Mrs. Johnson opened the door, everybody popped up and yelled, "Surprise!"
Mrs. Johnson was so happy; "This is nice. Sara, did you do this?"
Sara smiled, "Yes. With the help from Jen."
Mrs. Johnson said, "Thank you so much!'
Jen and Sara said, "You're very welcome!"
So, Sara had another sibling to take care of and she loved it.

Sara’s First Concert
Sara wanted to get tickets for Stevie Nicks’ concert. She liked Stevie Nicks and so did her best friend, Jen. They knew all about her. Sara and Jen had never been to a concert, so this would be their first one. Sara planned to get the tickets before Jen’s birthday and the concert was on Jen’s birthday.
Sara went to MACY’S because they had a contest and you could go backstage to see Stevie Nicks. So, Sara signed up and 3 weeks later, Sara received a letter with 2 tickets to see Stevie Nicks in concert. Sara couldn’t believe it, she had won!
Sara was so excited she called Jen and said, "Jen guess what? You won’t believe this. I got 2 tickets in the mail to see Stevie Nicks in concert and your invited!"
Jen couldn’t believe what she had heard, "Oh my gosh! That is so cool! When and where is the concert?"
Sara said, "At the Hartford Civic Center. On March 18, your birthday! We also get to go backstage and meet Stevie!"
Jen said, "I can’t wait to meet her. I have so many things to tell her and ask her."
On March 18, Jen’s 17th birthday, they went to Stevie Nicks’ concert. They sang all her songs with her and then they went to see her backstage.
Jen saw Stevie and introduced herself, "Hi Stevie. I'm Jen and this is my friend Sara."
Sara shook Stevie's hand, "Hi Stevie! It's nice to finally meet you."
Stevie said, "Well, it's nice to meet you too. By the way I love your name. It's one of my favorites."
Sara said, "I know. I'm named after your song 'Sara' and my middle name is Rhiannon. My parents are fans of yours too."
"That's cool."
Jen said,"So anyway Stevie, I am your number one fan and I have so much to ask and tell you."
Stevie said, "Go ahead."
Jen said, "I have all of your albums. From Buckingham-Nicks to Trouble in Shangri-La and I have all the Fleetwood Mac albums from only when you were in it."
Stevie was surprised, "Wow! You really like my music don’t you?"
Jen was smiling.
Sara said thinking, "You look like our school bus driver."
Stevie said, "Really?" With her eyes wide, open.
Jen said, "Yeah, she also sounds like you and she likes your music too."
Stevie said, "Cool," smiling.
Sara said, "Stevie, it Jen’s 17th birthday today."
Stevie said, "Well, happy birthday!" With a big smile.
Jen said, "Thanks."
Stevie said, "Well, it was nice meeting you two. Would you like to get your picture taken with me?"
Jen and Sara said, "Yes!"
So, Jen and Sara both had a picture of Stevie taken with them. Jen and Sara were so happy, they had finally met Stevie Nicks. And Stevie had a picture of her taken with Sara and Jen. So, she would never forget them.

Merlin gets in a Food Fight
On a bright sunny day, Merlin was waiting for the school bus to come. When he got on the bus, he sat down next to his best friend, Jake.
Jake said to Merlin, "I got a new video game. Wanna come home with me after school and we can play it?"
Merlin said, "Yeah, but I'll have to call my sister when I get to your house or she'll get worried."
Jake looked at Merlin with a strange look; "Your sister is weird. I'm glad I don't have an older sister, but my younger sister, Cindy is getting to be a real pain these days."
Merlin said, "Tell me about it! Sara is starting to act like my mom and its making me sick."
Merlin and Jake got off the bus and Merlin's enemy, Scout showed up.
Scout said, "Hey Punk! Give me your lunch money or else!"
Merlin said with his fists up, "Or else what?"
Scout said, "Or else I'll beat you up!"
Jake grabbed Merlin, "Come on Merlin, run!"
Scout said, "Wait on minute! Meet me at the lunch room during lunch and you'll get what you deserve or are you a chicken?"
Merlin was shaking, "I'm no chicken!"
Scout said, "Then see you later, Punk!"
When it was time for lunch, Merlin and Jake sat at their table with they're other friends, Arthur and Kramer. When suddenly Scout Pike appeared, "Hey Punk! Now you get what you deserve!"
Jake said, "Merlin, think of something quick!"
Merlin grabbed some pudding and threw it at Scout.
Jake high fived Merlin, "Way to go!"
Merlin laughed.
Scout was mad; "Do you think this is funny? How about this?" Scout threw mashed potatoes at Merlin.
Merlin still thought it was funny, so he threw peas at Scout.
Then all of a sudden, Jake yelled, "Food fight!" And everyone started to throw food at each other.
Then Mr. Ontario walked in and he was hit with a pie. Mr. Ontario yelled, "What on earth is going on here?"
Everyone stopped and the room got quiet.
Mr. Ontario said, "Who started this?"
Merlin said, "Scout did."
Scout said, "No, Merlin started it."
Merlin gave in; "He was trying to take my lunch money."
Mr. Ontario took Merlin to the principal's office and Merlin explained the whole thing.
Principal North scratched his beard, "Merlin, you can go now, I'll give Scout the detention."
Merlin was so happy to be free.
Jake said to Merlin while they were going home, "So, what happened?"
Merlin said, "Mr. North is giving Scout the detention."
Jake said, "He needs it."
When Merlin got to Jake's house, he called Sara; "I'm over Jake's house playing a video game."
Sara said, "Okay. But, be home by five."
Merlin said, "Okay."
So, Merlin played Pokemon with Jake and Merlin never got in a fight again.

Nimue’s First Day at Pre-school
On September 2nd on a Monday morning, Mrs. Johnson was getting Nimue ready for her first day at pre-school. Mrs. Johnson said," Nimue, pre-school is going to be so much fun. Your friends Jasmine and Caroline will be there."
Nimue said, "Caroline is my best friend!"
Mrs. Johnson was smiling, "Yes, and you’ll meet other kids there too." Nimue got dressed, ate, and was off to school.
When Nimue got to pre-school, Mrs. Johnson said, "Nimue, see you later!"
Nimue said, "Bye Mommy!" and went off with her friends.
Jasmine said, "So what do you wanna play?"
Nimue said, "Let’s play blocks."
Caroline loved blocks, "Yeah, blocks!"
Nimue said, "Let’s build a big building."
Jasmine and Caroline said, "Okay."
When all of a sudden a little boy came by. The boy said, "Hi. My name is Chris. Can I play with you?" Jasmine, Caroline, and Nimue looked at each other, then back at Chris.
Nimue said, "Sure. You can play with us."
Chris said, "Can my friends play too?"
Nimue said, "Sure."
Chris called his friends over, "Hey Robin, Lindsey, Mickey, and Stevie. Come over here!"
Lindsey said, "What Chris?"
Chris looked at Nimue, "Wanna play with us?"
Mickey, Lindsey, Stevie, and Robin said, "Sure."
So, Mickey, Caroline, Lindsey, Jasmine, Stevie, Robin, Chris and Nimue played till it was time to have snack.
After they finished their snack, they went back to building their building. Then Nimue’s mom came to pick her up.
Mrs. Johnson said, "So, how was your first day at pre-school?"
"It was great! I have 5 new friends," said Nimue.
Mrs. Johnson said, "Wow!"
Nimue really liked pre-school because she always wanted to be with her friends and her friends wanted to be with her.

Sara's New Car
On September 18, Sara Johnson was looking for a car of her own. She looked through a magazine with cars in it. She looked at the Fords, Toyotas, Acura's, etc. When finally she found one she liked. It was a blue Ford Mustang. It was just like her mom's except Sara's wasn't a convertible and wasn't red.
Sara showed the picture to her parents and they said, "We don't have the money."
Sara begged her parents, "Oh, please! I really want it! You know I can drive. I've got my license."
Her mom said, "If we save enough money you can get it for your birthday."
Sara was so happy, "Oh, thank you so much!"
Her dad said, "But, remember you'll have to pay for the car insurance and gas with your own money."
Sara said, "Oh, I will. I promise."
Sara was so excited, that she called her friend Jen who lives next-door, "Jen guess what?"
Jen said, "What?" excitedly.
Sara said, "I'm getting a car for my birthday!"
Jen said, "Wow! That is so cool! To bad, my parents don't let me drive. I have to wait until I am 18. Which really stinks."
Thinking, Sara said, "When I get my new car, I could drive you places. Since you’re my best friend."
Jen said, "Oh, that's so nice of you."
On November 23, Shelly's party, Sara invited Jen and 3 other friends. They had planned to take the train to New York City. They were going to shop and have lunch. When it was 5:00 PM, it was time to go back on the train. When they got home, Sara's friends left.
On November 24, Sara's birthday, Sara looked outside and saw a car parked in her driveway. She went outside and saw a bow tied around it and a card. It said, "Sara, Happy 17th Birthday! Love, mom and dad." Sara was so happy she could not wait to drive it.
Her dad handed her the keys and said, "Why don't you call Jen over and you can take it for a spin."
Sara drove over to Jen's house and rang the doorbell.
Jen opened the door and said, "Wow! You got your new car! It's so cool!"
Sara said, "Do you want to come with me and we can ride around the block?"
Jen said, "Sure."
So, Sara and Jen went and Sara promised she would take very good care of it.

Sara's Graduation
It was Sara's graduation from high school. She was going to miss so many of her friends. But, she'll still be best friends with Jen. Sara had planned to go to Mercy college next year and couldn't wait. Jen would be taking off two years of school to work. And would be going to Mercy when Sara is a Junior in college.
When it was graduation day all of Sara's relatives were there to see her. When it was Sara's turn to go up to the stage to get her diploma the principal said, "Sara Rhiannon Johnson." Then her brother, Merlin shouted," Go Sara!"
Sara got her diploma and walked to the gym to return her gown.
After her graduation Sara had a party. Her friends Jen, Jean, Allison, Lauri, Valerie, Patti, and her relatives and other friends and neighbors. They had dinner and cake and danced to some music. Sara had a nice time.
When the party was over, everyone went home.

New Baby
On March 9th a nice sunny day, Sara once again called Jen on the phone and said,"Hi Jen. It's Sara."
Jen said,"Hi Sara. What's up?"
"Well, my mom's in the hospital."
"Oh no! What for?" Jen sounded worried.
"She's having another baby."
"Another one? My gosh, how many kids is she going to have?" said Jen.
Sara sighed,"This should be her last one."
"I should hope so", exclaimed Jen.
"So anyway, do you want to come and she her?" asked Sara.
"Sure," Jen said.
So, Sara picked Jen up in her own blue Mustang and went to the hospital.
When they got there, Sara asked the lady at the desk,"I would like to see my mom-Julie Johnson."
The lady said,"She's in room B18."
Sara said,"Thank you."
When Sara and Jen got to the room Merlin, Nimue, and Mr. Johnson were there. Sara said,"Hi mom. We're here to see the baby."
Mrs. Johnson said," Here she is."
Jen cooed,"Oh. She's so cute. What's her name?"
Mrs. Johnson said,"Roxanne. But, we'll call her Roxy for short."
"Cool. That's Jasmine's middle name," said Jen.
Mrs. Johnson said,"Well, I love it."
Merlin whinced,"Great. Now I have three sisters. Oh well. What can I do? I know what I can I do. Nothing. I can't do anything about it. I'm doomed."
Sara rolled her eyes. Jen said,"Oooookkaaaayyyy."
Jen said to Sara,"I have to be going now. It's time for me to have dinner. Bye."
"Bye," said Mrs. Johnson, Mr. Johnson, Merlin, and Nimue.
So, Sara took Jen home. And Sara went home to make dinner.

A Christmas Story
It was two days before Christmas and Jenny had a plan, after school she was going to buy presents for her mom, dad and little sister. She had saved all her babysitting money from the last two months. She planned on buying something for herself too.
As she walked through the snow to her house she thought about how much she loved this time of year. It was beginning to get dark and some of her neighbors had their Christmas lights on. She loved the smell of pine trees and the beautiful white snow.
During dinner, the phone rang. Jenny answered it. It was Mrs. Johnson, her neighbor, she asked Jenny if she would mind babysitting for her two young girls-Nimue and Roxy. Mrs. Johnson was always busy working. Jenny often babysat for them but she had other plans. She told Mrs. Johnson she would think about it.
Jenny hurried through dinner. She was looking forward to spending sometime alone with her mother.
There was a Santa Claus ringing a bell at the entrance to the mall. Jenny put some money in the pot. She was reminded of how important it is to help other people who are in need.
The mall was decorated with a huge Christmas tree and scenes from "A Christmas Carol". Christmas music played in all the stores. Jenny felt very excited because Christmas was coming and all she could think about was Christmas.
It didn't take long for Jenny to do her shopping. She and her mom had an ice cream cone when they were finished. Jenny called Mrs. Johnson on her cell phone and told her she would baby-sit.
Jenny woke up early on Christmas Eve. After wrapping all of her presents, she went over Mrs. Johnson's house to baby-sit. Mrs. Johnson was very grateful because she had a lot of work to do. Jenny and the two girls kept busy.
After playing some games, they went outside. They built a fort and a snowman. Jenny even joined in one of their snowball fights. The morning went by quickly. She was glad she had come over to help.
The next day was Christmas day. Jenny and her sister woke up and ran downstairs to open up all their presents. Jenny heard a bark from the kitchen. It was a little Yorkie puppy! Jenny and her sister were so happy. Jenny loved everything especially the puppy. She gave her mom, dad and little sister a big hug. They loved all of their presents too.
This was what she loved about Christmas. The feeling of being happy and of making other people happy too.

3 Bugs Lives
One day 3 bugs named Scott the Ant, Hector the ladybug, and Kenny the Fly were sitting around doing nothing when Hector said, "Let’s go and annoy Allison and Jenny."
Scott said, "Okay. But, they’re bigger than we are. Remember when they wished we were bugs and it came true?"
Hector said, "Oh yeah. But, we can fly around them and make faces at them."
Kenny said, "What if they try to swat us?"
Hector said, "Then we’ll fly out of the way."
Scott said, "Ah. I can’t fly."
Hector said, "Then you can run."
So, Scott, Hector, and Kenny went to Allison’s house.
Hector said, "Good Jenny’s there too."
They went in the house and they found Allison and Jenny. Hector and Kenny were swarming around Jenny and Allison while Scott was running around.
Allison yelled, "Get out of here!"
And Jenny tried to swat them with a newspaper. She hit Kenny.
Then she said, "Oh, look it’s a ladybug. Let’s keep it. Allison, get a jar with holes in the top."
So, they got the jar and put Hector in it. Hector cried, "Help me! Get me out of here!"
Kenny and Scott tried to help him, but they couldn’t. Kenny said, "Pretend you’re dead."
So, Hector did that.
Jenny came in and said, "Oh, darn! He’s dead."
So, Jenny let him outside and closed the door.
Hector said, "I’m free!"
When they were outside, Scott said, "What do we do now?"
Kenny said, "Let’s get out of here. Jenny hit me with a newspaper and I’m still dizzy."
Hector said, "Let’s go for a ride in our buggy car."
Scott and Kenny said, "Okay." So, they did.
They drove to a place to get something to eat. They went to Buzz the Bug’s restaurant. They ordered the PooPoo Platter.
When they were done, they were walking back to their car, when all of a sudden this foot came down on Kenny.
Hector and Scott yelled, "Kenny watch out!"
However, it was too late;
Kenny was already stepped on.
Scott said, "Oh my God! They killed Kenny!"
Hector said, "We better get out of here before they step on us too." But, they got stepped on too.
The people who stepped on them were Jenny and Allison.
Jenny and Allison said, "Yes! We killed them finally!"
So, that was the end of Kenny, Hector, and Scott. They will never joke about Jenny and Allison again.
The End

A Wish
Only wish you really knew
How many thanks
This brings to you
Thank you
For your kindness
For the nice things
That you do
And there will be
A wishing well
Just filled with dreams
Come true
A wish is something that you dream of
Something that you believe of
And hope it will come true
I will be
Wishing you joy and love
Beyond measure
A glad smile
And a heart full of laughter
A wish is something that you dream of
Something that you believe of
And hope it will come true

Life
What in the world you thinking of touch is love?
Do it wrong or do it right
Oh, how I wish you where here tonight
I didn't mean to hurt you
Please remember my life is in your hands
Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans

Nature
When the world starts raining down
And the sun is out of sight
Don't hate the birds Cause they are free
Forgive the world in which we live
Be truthful
Be gentle
And always forgive

Sixteen
Please take a closer look
There's no looking back
Now you're finally sixteen and you're feeling old
My!
How the years were flying by
They soared!

The World
I want you to try to understand
I need you to like what you see
But remember too that when you fail
You can always talk to me
Your world is more difficult now
And you want to make your own way in it-
Which is as it should be
I WILL-two small words
And yet, it's a powerful "place" in which to be

Think About It
I wanna be good looking
But, I feel like a disgrace
So, lead me from this place
When I was sad you were by my side
That indeed the angels have wings-
Then so do I
Then I took a few moments to think about my day
And thought kids don't always get A's
She stood there tears upon her face
When suddenly an awkward smile crossed her face

Doris
Is a bus driver
She drives mini 1
When you have her as a driver
It can be a lot of fun
Of all the drivers I've known
She's nice, caring, friendly,
And will make you laugh
And she will be the best bus driver
You'll ever have

Jean
I have a friend
Her name is Jean
I use to call her Jeanie Beanie or Jean Bean
She is never mean to me
And I think it should stay that way
I always hear the saying, "Friends come and go"
But I don't think this is so
Because I know we will always be friends forever
Till we die and reunite in heaven

My One And Only
Our lives did start
One week apart
You said to me, "I'll be your friend, lover and partner"
And thanks to you it will be done
For you to me are the only one

The Wrong Friends
You must understand that this group was a sight
When our breasts hadn't developed into the sexy, sloping line we exploit
As cool as they were and as hot as their show
Humming, bursting, screaming, ringing
What now?
I did not know
So choose your friends wisely and help others see
Others gave up
But no, not she

Our Love
My love is your love
Your love is my love
When skies are cloudy
And clouds are gray
You make me happy
Cause you love me
Always and forever

Hold Me
Oh I was crying
My heart's breaking
I've been trying to get to you
Cause I want you
Hold me darlin'
Don't let go
I've got this deep down sorrow that won't let go
Oh, hold on tight now
Hold on to stay
I need you today

Hugs
Hold me
You know I'm not wrong
I just want to be with you
I know it's not right
To put up a fight
But that's just the way it is
Ya, gotta get it
Cause if you don't
It's not gonna do me any harm
I just love the feeling of being held
Won't you give me a hug?

The Way It Is
It is so beautiful
My life is bright like the sun
I wish I could run
I like to be
You and me
We play all day
It's so great to me
It's like a piece of paper
Running from the sands
Why my life is so bad
My life is like a picket fence
Running from here to there
Oh why is it not fair
To be left here
Always in the sand?
I like to be
A wishing star
Come from afar
To that big lamp in the sun

Sing to Me
Oh I love the way you sing to me
It's such a beautiful thing
I can hold it in my arms
Squeeze it and hold it tight
I'd just love to touch it
And make it better

So Sad
I feel so sad
That something bad is going to happen
I don't know what
But, I feel like crying
I have never felt this way before
I must be dying
Maybe not
But it just feels that way
What do I do?
I feel like I'm going to puke

I Wish You Were Here
Now I decided yesterday that I would leave you
I'm out of my mind
And it's only over you
Baby, I won't go
If you make me apart of you
Oh baby, I miss you when you're gone
But, I say to myself
The dream is not over
The dream is just away
And you will fly like some little wing
Straight back to me
Oh, how I wish you were here
Holding me tight
If I had you near
It would make it all right

I'll Beat You
Do you know the road
Or the reason why?
If you lose me
You'll be losing the chance to stay alive
So, I'll beat you in the long run
And then I'll beat you to the mountain
Well, I'll beat you at your own game
And you'll never be the same
I see through the heart of you
I know where it goes
And I know what it means

L.F.O.
Did you know that L.F.O. is hot?
Yep!
That's true
Listen to them
You'll rock!
L.F.O. is a boy band
When they were young
They played in the sand
If you listen to Brad
You'll never be sad
That goes for Rich
And Devan
Then you'll be in heaven
They are cool
And they rule

Stevie Nicks
Hi!
I am Jen
I like music like Stevie N.
She sings so well
All her albums sell
Her hair is so blonde
I am fond
We should bond
She was in Fleetwood Mac
But now she is back to solo
Her partners were Lindsey
John
Christine
And Mick
They never made her sick
I think she is the best
In the west!

Tragedy
I heard your voice again last night
You said,
"I'll try a little harder
And soon I'll see the light"
But something tragic happened
You didn't see the light
We ask everyone
"What's wrong with this world?"
And we do nothing to make it right

The School Bus
The seats are filled with girls who talk too much
And boys who don't care
And I could have been there when I decided I didn't need to be
Because today it's just Mom and me

The Way
Whenever I am with you my fantasies come true
If he lonely knew that
When the world is through, I will still love you
The way you are moving, I could get into you
I have been walking on these four walls thinking about your love
So, are you down for my love?
It's the hardest thing I'll ever have to lie
Because I don't know whether to laugh
Or cry
I want to make you feel all right with me
Baby, I knew at once that you were meant for me
Because you showed me the way

Angel
When at first the angel saw her he said
"I have come to make you better"
Then in her own angel way she said
"There were reasons to be crazy
So, please wish me luck today"

Angelica
Angelica is very ticklish
In fact the most out of Jellyfish
She lives in an ocean in Hawaii
With the water very salty
She is very bright
And she is always in sight
When she sleeps
She does not make a peep
Sometimes the tangly weeds
Are the least of her needs
So then she settles with a cup of tea
In a kettle
When she swims
She's with her best friend Kim
They stick together
No matter what weather
Their friendship is so strong
When they rarely fight
They play ping-pong
Their favorite flower is a black-eyed Susan
Not to mention when they are cruisin'
How many they see

I Love You
Baby
Don't treat me this way
I need you to stay
I got nothing
But love for you
In a dream I said to you
That I'd always love you
And I still do
I see through the heart of you
And I love you

I Need You
Will you please
Make up your mind?
Much has gone by
When you were mine
You don't wake up
In the morning
Anymore
In the crowd
I turn 'round
Crying for you
Out loud
Well, have you
Come to see
Me
Fall to my knees
Baby, please don't
Leave me
What shall
I do?
I need you

I Want To Be With You
There is no loneliness in this dream
Because I am still apart of this game
What can I do to get to you?
All I want to do is be closer to you
I love you
And could get into you

Love is Dangerous
Baby; don't treat me this way
'Cause I would love to believe
I believe what you say
Do you remember
You took my hand?
When you said
"Love is dangerous"
Oh, there's no warning
That takes you to the
Promised land

Love
I got nothing but love for you
'Cause I've built my life around you
Close your eyes
And tell me sweet little lies
I just wanna be on the road to paradise

Loved and Lost
It's better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all
Never have loved
Never have loved at all
And I was running out the back door
Trying to get away
I was almost past the river
Oh, he'll never catch me now
Oh, say it all
So, sad for you
Sad baby doll

Mystery
I stood there in the hallway frozen in the dark
And my heart broke down
Oh, there's so much going on
And the bright light is lying down
Still I love you
But, how can I go on without you?
It wasn't that I didn't love you
But, I just couldn't make you see
That as hard as I tried to make it all better
It was not better for me
It's a mystery

Searching
You don't know how lucky you are
Boy
Won't you open up your eyes?
Deep in the jungle where the mighty tiger lies
Blackbirds fly
Ooh boy
You know the reason why
Come on is such a joy
See the hands moving
So many tears
I was searching

Seems like Love
I hear you
In the morning
And I hear you at nightfall
But, sometimes to be near you
Is to be unable to hear you
And if I find the answer
I promise you
I'll come back and get you
'Cause I never did not love you
I never did run from you
In a dream I said to you
That I'd always love you
Oh, the days go by
Like a strand in the wind
In the web that is my own
I begin again
In many ways you got to me
But, the touch of your hand
Well, it starts again
And I said to myself
"This seems like love"
Could it really be love?
It must be
'Cause I just saw Cupid

Silent
I feel like I'm going down
In universe of silent sound
And intense light
And the light's too bright
And the silence
Deafens me
When I call your name
Oh, life's too short to play
In those kinds of games
If you get a feeling
That you think is fine
And you know your wish would
Soon be mine
You can still change your mind

The End
Don't waste our time
Tell me now
Don't turn me away
And don't let me down
So long
Got to leave your land
'Cause once you let me down again
You're just bound to see
The end

Away
If I had looked
A little ahead
I would have run away
And when you hold yourself
And know that
There were two
Now only one
Remain
You'll close your eyes
And travel back
Through the time when the light
Went fading fast
And the words you'll never forget
As I slipped away

Cheating
Don't you know
You are late again?
And I'm starting to twitch again
You came over for coffee
And asked
"Where's the party?"
I said
"There is none
I just wanted to
Talk to you
About that night
That I saw you with her"
And you said
You weren't
And you're not gonna
Lie about the
Feelings that you got
Too bad you were cheating
And got caught

Forever
I could scream out
That I am right
That she's gonna leave you crying in the night
Oh, life gave me you
So, where were you when I needed you?
And I never did say "why?" to you
When you were with her
I missed the sound of your laughter
And she used to make me shiver
So, if she does not run the race
Then she cannot win it ever
But, you did
And now you're with me forever

Freedom
Oh, freedom is standing next to you
And it's too good to be true
That she's still your lover
And I'm running for cover
But, sooner or later I'll make you see
Because if she breaks your heart
Don't come crying to me

Hard
Day by day I can see that you fall to your knees
If the past still makes you down
Darlin', that was then and this is now
But, you say
"Well, it's hard on my heart"
I say
"Well, open your eyes it gets harder everyday"
You say
"I need to know now"
And I play the part
But, then all of us do
And I do it so well
As I do it to you
But, in the middle of my room
I did not hear from you

Lifetime
Baby, it'll take much more than a lifetime
To be with me all the time
And to give me all the things
That money can't buy

Heart
You said to me, "Even though the living is sometimes laced with lies
It's alright"
But I said, "I need you to love me
I need you to stay
Because the heart's the price you pay"

Hot
Baby, will you return to love me
After the night becomes the day?
It's obvious these feelings run so deep
See our love is hot
And no
It won't stop
