CH.40 And here you come again

"Do you care to join us?" JD asked Johnny as he look up at him and then fixed his eyes onto Criss.
"Oh no, I'm good...it looks like I interrupted a deep conversation..so I'll be leaving you..." Johnny said a bit embarrassed.
"Oh not at all Mr. Depp, I mean Johnny (Chuckles). Its fine, please join us" Criss said while he tried pulling one of the chairs out, so Johnny would sit.
"I would love to, but I'm here with...."

"Johnny!" Liliana said as she arrived to the table. Johnny look around and saw it was Liliana. He greeted her with a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
"Like I was saying, I'm here with my girlfriend" Johnny finished his sentence while he pulled Liliana closer to him. At that moment, Liliana's eyes met Criss'. Suddenly her nerves became tense. She just couldn't take her eyes away from Criss. It was as if Criss had hypnotized her. Criss kept looking at her, he quickly sensed Liliana's nervous level rise up. He couldn't quite understand why her eyes were resembling fear. It had been so long, ten years to be exact, Criss wanted to hug her and kiss her, but he couldn't.

"This is Liliana my girlfriend.."Johnny said to JD and Criss.
"Yeah I know her, we met that night she went to see Believe" JD said as he greeted her with a handshake.
"Uhh yeah, hello!"Liliana said anxious.
"and this is my brother...Criss" JD added. Criss rose from his seat and stretched his hand to greet Liliana. Liliana rapidly gave her hand and greeted him.
"Enchantée, mademoiselle" Criss said to her as he kissed her hand.
"Enchenté monsieur" Liliana said uneasy. and quickly pulled her hand back.
"You know french?" Johnny asked surprised. Criss who was still looking at Liliana look at Johnny, " Yeah I do" Criss said.
"Are you french?" Johnny asked. Criss laughed "I wish, but no, I lived in France for quite a while" he said as he quickly turn his eyes to Liliana. She couldn't keep staring back, she felt ashamed, so she quickly lowered her eyes down.

"Well it was nice meeting you gentlemen..but we better keep going" Johnny said as he shook their hands. Liliana shook JD's hand but kind of hesitated in shaking Criss' hand again, but she had to, or Johnny would probably get suspicious.
As Liliana and Johnny walked back to their table, she looked back and saw that Criss was still looking at her. She gasped and quickly turned around.
"What's wrong?" Johnny asked worried as he turned back to see what Liliana had seen.. "Oh no, nothing I thought I saw paparazzi outside the window.

A few minutes passed, Johnny and Liliana were still eating and Criss and his brother were still chatting and eating too. Criss gave Liliana a few glances now and then. Liliana, of course became aware of that.
"I'll be right back" Liliana told Johnny as she rose from her seat. "Where are you going?" Johnny asked her while he took a sip of his red wine. "To the ladies room" She said. "Ok darling" Johnny said as he winked at her. Liliana smiled and made her way to the restroom. Criss became aware of this, and decided to go to the restroom too. He began to get up from his seat.

"What are you doing?" JD whispered worriedly. "I just have to" Criss remarked. "Oh no, Criss, don't do anything stupid...why don't you wait" he told him trying to persuade him to stay.
"Is now or never, it's my chance" Criss said as he walked away from the table. JD sighed " Oh god, Criss!' he said to himself as he saw his brother go into the restroom.
Inside the ladies room, Liliana was alone staring herself at the mirror. She sighed, tears wanted to come out but she fought them to not let them out. She slowly washed her hands, trying to enjoy the feeling of cold water running through her fingers, making her nerves loosen up.

As Criss walked through the long narrow hallway, he passed over the ladies room. He quickly stopped and stared at it. He look to the right and then to the left to see if any people were coming. He was about to go in, when he suddenly stopped.
"Agghh who am I kidding" he said to himself as he walked away and down the hall. But something stopped him on his tracks. He turned around and went straight to the door and into the ladies room.
Liliana dried her hands with a paper towel as she walked towards the door. She heard the door open. And as she looked up, Criss rapidly put his hand over her mouth and took her inside of one of the bathroom stalls. He put her against the wall, and with his hand still covering her mouth, he stared at her big maroon eyes.

CH. 41 The truth hurts

"Promise me that you're not gonna scream" Criss told Liliana as he still covered her mouth with his hand. Liliana nodded as a promise that she was not going to scream. Criss slowly pulled his hand away and quickly looked down. They both remained quiet for about five seconds until Liliana broke the silence.

" I better go or Johnny will start questioning" Liliana said as she reached for the lock to try to open the door.
"No! wait!" Criss exclaimed as he quickly put his hand over the door so Liliana wouldn't open it.
"Why did you went back to Johnny?" Criss asked her. That question caught Liliana by surprise, she wasn't expecting that. She remain quiet with nothing to say.
"Answer me" Criss whispered in a serious yet sad tone.
" He changed, he showed me that he still loved me..and well here I am" she said.
" Do you love him?" Criss asked, this time without taking his eyes away from hers.

"What kind of question is that?" Liliana said a bit annoyed.
"Yeah you're right, of course you love him...you never loved me" Criss said sarcastically.
"Shut up, shut up!...don't ever say that again...never say that I never loved you...cuz your wrong!...I loved you will all my heart Christopher...how do you think I felt when they sentenced you to 55 year in prison?...do you think I wanted to testify against you in court? No!!, why in the hell would I do that to the love of my life?..you don't know the story behind why I did such thing...you never let me explain..." Liliana said as tears strolled down her face.
"But why lily? why did you testify against me?" Criss screamed.
" Because if I didn't they were going to kill you in jail" She said as she dried her tears away.

"What???" Criss exclaimed in amazement.
"What you heard Criss, Chief Lombardi threaten me. He told me that if I testified against you, they wouldn't put me on record. I agreed. But of course, I wasn't going to. But the day of the trial ,he told me that if I didn't testify against you, he would make sure to have some kill you inside your jail cell"
Criss couldn't believe what he was hearing. He felt bad and ashamed because he had lived all this years thinking that Liliana never loved him, so he forced his heart to hate her with passion.
"I better go" Liliana said. But this time, Criss planted a passionate kiss on her. In that moment flashbacks came running back to her. She remembered the first time they kissed. She quickly pulled back. Making Criss a bit confused.
"This can't be Criss, I'm sorry" Liliana said as she stormed out of the bathroom stall and out of the ladies room.

CH. 42

When Criss got out of the restroom and walked back to his table. He saw that Liliana and Johnny were no where to be found.
"Where are they?" Criss asked JD as he sat down on his chair.
"They left like two minutes ago...I guess Johnny had to leave, because when you two were in the restroom, I saw that he received a call, he quickly called for a waiter...so when Liliana got out, they said a few words and left...Johnny even waived goodbye at me" JD told Criss as he took a bite of his food.
"and Liliana? did she waved goodbye too?" Criss asked desperately.
"No, she was looking down" JD stated. "What in the hell did you do Criss?" JD asked his brother curiously.
Criss remained quiet and took a sip of his drink, " I kissed her" he said as he put his drink down and suddenly a smile appeared on his face.
"What???" JD asked shocked. "Are you crazy? where was this? in the hallway? JD continued.
"Nah, I went inside the ladies room" Criss said still with a smile on his face.
"Oh my god, your beyond crazy, have you lost you mind" JD said all freaked out. But Criss just kept smiling as he took a bite of his food.
"And how did she react?"JD continued to ask.
"She said that it couldn't be, but I don't believe her, that kiss proved me that she still feels something for me" Criss said with a big smile on his face.

Later that night...
Liliana was in her hotel room, watching some T.V.Johnny had gone to a meeting that involved the discussion of his next film and he wasn't going to be home till later on. Liliana began to change the channels to see what else was on T.V until she came across to an image of what appeared to be Criss. She quickly rose up the volume and listen carefully.
"Oh my god, it is him....Mindfreak?? what is that?"

"What day is today?" Liliana asked herself as she reached for her cellphone to see the date. She realized that it was indeed Wednesday and quickly changed the channel to A&E. and to her big luck, there it was Criss Angel: Mindfreak.
" I knew that someday your dreams of becoming a professional illusionist will come true" She said without taking her eyes away from the screen. When the show ended Liliana made her way to the kitchen, suddenly she heard the door slam. She walked out of the kitchen and saw that it was Johnny.
"Johnny what's wrong?" she said as she made her way towards him.
"I'm sorry darling but I'm not in a good mood" Johnny said as he sat down on the couch. Liliana followed him and sat next to him.
"Why what's wrong? she said worriedly.
"Well you know that we were going to start filming in 3 weeks right here in Vegas...well no anymore...the director wants to start filming this weekend in Reno, Nevada"
" Oh what?" Liliana said upset. "Babe I thought we were staying here in Vegas" she continued.
"I know I thought so too, but change of plans...but you don't need to come with me...lets do this I can ask Tim if he can let me barrow his apartment so you can stay there, like that you can enjoy Vegas" Johnny said.
"That sounds good, but if I stay here I'm only gonna stay for a month, because I have to go back to L.A to work" Liliana commented. "Well if that's the case, then we'll see each other back in L.A" Johnny said.
"Well at least we have tomorrow and Friday to ourselves" Liliana added.
"Umm thats the other reason why I'm mad" Johnny said. " what you mean?" Liliana asked confused.
"I have to leave tomorrow to Reno" Johnny said annoyed.

Back at the Luxor...
Criss was in his room reminiscing about what had happen today with Liliana back at the restaurant.
" Man, I have to say that I miss her sweet delicate kisses" Criss said to himself. He then turn on the screen to see what was on T.V.

Welcome back, I'm Ryan Seacrest. Johnny Depp was spotted at the Alice in Wonderland premiere at Venetian Hotel without longtime girlfriend Liliana. Rumors were starting to speculate that the couple had called it quits. But this is what Mr. Depp had to say about the rumor.
"oh no, we're still together. She couldn't come to the premiere because of her work. But is not true that we're not together anymore. Don't believe such things (laughs)". Later that night Johnny and Liliana were spotter leaving their hotel, of course none of them responded any questions of the paparazzi. (Shows pictures of them two). It is now confirmed that Johnny is staying in Vegas for his new upcoming film, it is still unknown where they will start shooting, some sources say that filming is going to be in Vegas but other say is going to be in Reno. Where ever it is, best wishes to Johnny Depp and Liliana.

Suddenly an idea had cross Criss' mind, he grabbed his phone and dial a number.
"I don't know how and when, but one thing is for sure..we're getting back together Lily" he said to himself. The phone kept ringing, until someone pick up.
" Yes I want to know in what hotel Johnny Depp and Liliana Ponce are staying" Criss said as he grabbed a pen and paper.

CH.42
The next morning in Las Vegas airport...

"Promise me that your gonna call me every time you get a chance" Liliana told Johnny as he took his bags out of the trunk.
"You know i will darling" he said as he put his bags down on the floor and reached for Liliana to kiss her.
"Ahh I don't wanna let go" Johnny said as he hugged Liliana tightly. Liliana chuckled and hugged him even tighter.
Johnny then looked at his watch, "I better go...I don't want to but I have to" he said as he reached for his bags. Liliana kissed him one more time " ok babe, take care and have fun" she said as he saw Johnny walking away. Johnny waved back and walked inside the airport until Liliana could no longer see him.

"Where to now Miss?" the driver asked as he opened the door.
"Take me to the hotel so i could get my bags, I'm heading to Tim's apartment" she said as she went inside the car.
When Liliana arrived to the hotel she saw a mob of paparazzi outside the entrance. She had no other choice but to get through there. As the driver opened the door to Liliana, one of the paparazzi saw that it was her and started shouting her name, making the other paparazzo get their cameras ready.
"Lily! lily! where is Johnny??" Yeah Liliana where is your Jack Sparrow??" the paparazzi shouted trying to make Liliana annoyed. But she kept her cool and kept walking until she got inside. The president of the hotel made sure that Liliana would get out from the back door so she wouldn't go through the chaos again.

Later that day...

Liliana felt bored being stuck inside the apartment by herself with nothing fun to do. So she decided to go to the Boulevard mall down Las Vegas blvd strip.
She went inside a few stores and did some shopping. Now and then a few people recognized who she was and asked for a picture with her. Overall, she was having a great time, she was so busy looking at a window store that she bumped into someone making them drop their ice-cream on the floor. Liliana quickly looked around,
"Oh my god I'm so sorry" Liliana said.

The girl wiped over her jeans as she tried to remove the stain. "Oh that's fine, I'm the one who has to apologize I was running and wasn't looking where I was going" she said as she looked up.
" Oh please, I feel bad now, I made you drop your ice-cream...at least let me buy you another one" Liliana said embarrassed.
"Hey, your Liliana! Johnny Depp's girlfriend" the girl said amazed. Liliana giggled a little. "Yeah that's me" she said.

"Oh my god it's so nice to meet you. My name is Dimitra but i go by Dimi" the girl said with a smile.
"Well nice to meet you Dimi" Liliana said to her as she shook her hand.
"Dimi!!" a voice was heard at a distance. Dimi looked around and sighed as she giggled.
"That's my uncle, I like to run away from him, cuz i like to annoy him" Dimi said giggling.
"He sure sounds annoyed" Liliana said as she too giggled.
"Oh god...Dimi..(cathes breath) never...never (panting) run..away from me again" the man said as he bend down.

"This is my uncle Criss..see I told you he gets annoyed" Dimi said laughing. Liliana couldn't believe that once again she had run into him. Criss looked up and saw it was Liliana.
"Liliana!!?" he said as he stood up straight.

CH. 43

"Hello Criss" Liliana said nervously. Suddenly a big ol smile appeared on Criss' face.
"Hi" he said as she reached to shake her hand. "How are you?" he asked her.
"I'm fine, how about you?" she said as she shook his hand too. " I'm great...now that I see you" he said with a smirk on his face.
Liliana rapidly clear her throat to remind him that his niece was present.
"what? do you guys know each other?" Dimi asked a bit confused. Criss realized that Dimi was there and tried to correct what he just said. " yeah.. now that I see you...how's johnny??" he said as he blushed a little.

"He is good...and to answer your question Dimi, yeah we met yesterday at a restaurant" Liliana said looking at Dimi with a smile.
"Ahh ok...is cuz you guys made it seem like you know each other from way back" Dimi said with a chuckle. Both Criss and Liliana giggled nervously.
"(giggles)...no no, we just met yesterday" Liliana said looking at Criss.
"Yeah, yeah yesterday" he said as he rubbed his neck.
"Well I better go...i haven't eat so I better go grab some lunch" Liliana said
"Now that you mention it, we were on our way to eat...you should join us" Dimi said excited.
" Great idea Dimi, yeah join us Liliana" Criss said as he looked at her.

"Oh no, I don't wanna break the uncle niece bond moment..you go ahead" she said with a chuckle.
"Ahh nonsense, please come with us" Criss said trying to persuade her. "Please please! pretty please" Dimi said with goo goo eyes.
" Uhh, ok sure" she said giving in. Criss then offered himself to help Liliana with some of the shopping bags she was caring. At first she didn't want to, she was only caring five, it wasn't a big deal.
"Come on, I just wanna help" Criss said to her as he reached and took 3 bags away from her hand. As they walked outside and into the parking lot Dimi interrupted his uncle by saying,
"Uncle Criss, can I start the car"
"no" Criss said laughing. "Oh come on uncle, I'm just gonna start it, I'm not gonna drive it, please!"
"Ok, fine, just start it, don't do anything else" he said as he gave the keys to her, and she run towards the car.
"Thanks for coming" Criss said to Liliana with a smile.
"I accepted the come because of your niece, not you" She said firmly. Criss chuckled, " Ok, ok!"

When they got to the restaurant, they order and started eating. Dimi was the one doing all the talking while Criss and Liliana were quieter. Dimi suddenly excused herself to go the ladies room. Criss couldn't take it and broke the silence between Lily and him.
"Why are you so quiet? you're not like that, well you weren't like that with me back in Europe" Criss said without taking his eyes away from her.
"Why do you have to bring that topic..god Criss that's in the past...don't let the past haunt you" Liliana said annoyed.
"I know your mad for the last thing I said to you back in Europe.." Criss continued.

"Just drop it" Liliana said trying to evade the conversation.
"I never meant to tell you that I regretted meeting you...I'm sorry I wasn't thinking right...I've should of listen to you...now, that I regret" he said as he reached for Liliana's hand. But Liliana quickly moved her hand away at the moment Criss' hand touch hers.
"What are you doing..are you crazy??" she said alarmed as she looked around the restaurant. "Do you want to get me in trouble...I'm in a relationship in case you already forgot" she whispered. Criss laid back on his chair and just sighed as he looked outside the window annoyed.

In that moment Dimi came back running,
"Uncle, I need to go" she said as she sat down. "What do you mean?" Criss said confused. "Mom text me reminding me that I need to go to the dentist, which i totally forgot that my appointment was today" she said as she took a bite of her chocolate cake.
"Well lets go then" Criss said. "No no, that's fine, mom said that dad is on the area, so he's picking me up" Dimi said. A few minutes later JD called Dimi to let her know that he was outside. She kissed Criss and Liliana goodbye and headed out the restaurant.

"Well I guess is just you and me" Criss said pleased. When they finished their dessert they were coming out of the restaurant when suddenly a pack of paparazzi came out of no where snapping photos of Criss and Liliana.
"Oh " Liliana whispered.
"Hey Liliana where is Johnny?? you're no longer with him??...Criss are you guys dating?...Liliana so you went from a Pirate to a magician??...Nice job Criss, you took Johnny Depp's girl, your magic sure works huh?.." the paparazzi shouted as one of them recorded and other took pictures. Liliana and Criss managed to get to the car with the help of some of the restaurant security. When they were getting inside on the paparazzi shouted, "Lily if you're indeed dating...that love is just illusion!" he said as all the paparazzi laughed. Liliana quickly turn around to see Criss with sad eyes while Criss just gave her a heartbreaking look. They got inside the car and drove off.

CH. 44

As Criss drove down Las Vegas Blvd, both Liliana and him kept quiet. Liliana looked outside the window with a sad look on her face remembering what the paparazzi had said, "Lily if you're indeed dating...that love is just an illusion" She also started reminiscing all those beautiful times they spent together. what if the paparazzi said was true? what if that love was just an illusion? The radio was turn on and the song 'sail away' by the rasmus started to play.

Liliana turn her head around to see Criss, who was so busy looking straight at the road. His face resembled a look of sadness, heartache, madness. Criss was paying attention to the lyrics and noticed that the song was narrating part of their lives. He kept listening but he didn't look back at Liliana, he kept looking at the road ahead. Liliana then turn around to what she was doing, looking outside the window.

Criss suddenly sighed, " my love to you is not an illusion lily" he said as he looked at her. Liliana quickly turn around and she too let out a sigh. "Is not? don't you mean it wasn't an illusion?" she said trying to hold her tears back. " I never stopped loving you Lily, you were always in my mind..I still love you". He said to her as he look straight at the road and then at her.

Liliana started crying when she heard that coming from Criss. and the lyrics of the song made her cry even more because it was reminding her of her past, the life she had with him. When Criss saw that Liliana started crying he quickly pulled out of the road. " Oh honey don't cry" he said as he stopped the car and took of his seat belt so he could hug her. Liliana kept crying her heart out, holding onto Criss with such a grip. "It's ok baby! it's ok...I'm here" Criss said trying to console her. As Liliana started to calm down, Criss was stroking her hair and was still holding her. Liliana gently pulled back away from Criss wiping her tears away. " Don't cry sweetie" Criss said as he wiped her tears away from her cheek. " I love you!" he whispered as he lean over and kiss her with such passion.

CH. 45
Criss started the car and began to drive again. This time Liliana and him had nothing to say. " You want me to take you to your hotel?" he said suddenly braking the silence as he looked at Lily. "Umm, I'm not staying at a hotel but in an apartment" Lily said as she took out her phone so she can give the address to Criss.

Liliana was opening the door of the apartment while Criss hold her shopping bags. Once Liliana managed to open the door, she turn around the get the bags from Criss, she went inside as Criss stood by the door. Liliana put her belongings on the table and as she turn back she realized that Criss hadn't come inside. She went back to see what had happen, and to her surprise she saw Criss still standing outside the door.

" Aren't you coming in?" She said. "Ohh, umm...yeah why not" he said as he went in and closed the door behind him. Criss followed Liliana to the living room.
"Is this your place?..well you and Johnny's?" Criss said looking around the apartment in amazement. "Oh no, this is Tim's apartment" she said as she went into the kitchen. Criss made his way into the living room and sat down on the couch. " You mean as The Tim Burton's the director of Alice in Wonderland?" he said as he spotted a picture of Tim, Johnny and Liliana at the Oscars. "Yeah, the good ol Tim" Liliana answered as she poured herself a glass of water. " Do you care for some water or a drink?" Liliana said looking at Criss from the kitchen. "Umm water is fine, thank you" Criss said as he turn on the t.v.

Liliana came back to the living room and gave the glass of water to Criss. She sat down next to him as she put her drink on the center table.

Criss took a sip of his drink as he stared at Liliana. "I think you and me need to talk!" Liliana said staring back at him.
"you're right...you don't know how much I've been waiting for this moment" he said as he grabbed the remote control and turn down the t.v volume. Liliana look down, she didn't know where to start. She was about to say something when Criss asked, "What did you do when the trial ended?"
"The next day I came back to the states with Johnny"

"Woah, Johnny? Johnny was in italy??" Criss asked confused. " A few days before your trial I came across Johnny, he was premiering one of his movies right there in Venice..we talked and I told him that my boyfriend was in jail"
"But you never told him my name right? I mean he doesn't know that I was the so called boyfriend huh?" Criss asked.
"No, I never told him your name, he was suppose to go to the trial, but he couldn't make it..that's why he doesn't know you"
"Ahh I see, I didn't thought that I was gonna have an attorney but I guess the state appointed me one..." Liliana quickly interrupted him by saying, " That was one of Johnny's lawyers, he offered himself to help you with that"

"You're saying that Johnny was helping me?" Criss said shocked. Liliana just nodded.
"Any ways, how did you got out of prison? I thought you were serving 55 years" Liliana curiously asked.
Criss cleared his throat, "I got out with the help from Officer Palmer...remember him?"
"Of course I remember him..but how?"

"Well remember Chief Lombardi?" Liliana nodded as sign that she remembered who he was. " Well, he got himself in trouble with the Italian mafia...so to clear that record, he blamed Detective Palmer...Of course Palmer wasn't very pleased...so now the mafia was after Palmer and not Lombardi. The mafia was demanding 1.1 million euros from Palmer. He told them that they had the wrong guy, but the only thing the mafia cared for was the money, and Palmer had no other choice because they had already threaten him with killing his family. So Palmer asked for my help"
"What???" Liliana said shocked.
"When he asked for my help, I didn't want to cuz then I was going to be in trouble with the mafia...but Palmer offered me something that I just couldn't refuse. He told me that if I helped him. He would clear my record and appeal for a second trial in my case"

"and how where you gonna help him?" Liliana asked.
"Simple, by robbing a bank...so I helped him. I mean who was going to blame me, I was already in 'jail' no one was going to blame me. Once I helped Palmer and he got out of that trouble. He appealed for a second trial, he erased my record. and because of lack of evidence they set me free..and here i am" Criss said as a grin appeared on his face.
"But what about the judge that took you're first trial? I mean he saw all your record" Liliana asked Criss as she took a sip of her drink.

" Palmer had told me that, that judge had moved to Rome...so this other judge had no idea about my case and because they didn't have enough evidence, well they set me free"
"So how long did you serve in jail?"
"Only five years.." Criss said in serious tone.
Liliana stared at the t.v with nothing else to say. Criss looked at her, he was dying inside, he wanted to kiss her again, to have her in his arms and make love to her like that time back in Europe.
Suddenly Criss rose from the couch and knelled before Liliana. She quickly looked at him with awe. "What are you doing? she said.

" I want you to forgive me Lily, for what I said...that I regretted meeting you and for treating you that way back in court...I'm sorry but I was angry, and yesterday when you told me that you had to testify against me because they threaten you with killing me, made me realized that I had committed a big mistake and that I've should of listen to you, but my stubbornness and ego didn't let me"
"Criss get..up...get up from there" Liliana said as she stood up and grabbed his hands to pull him up from kneeling.
"I won't get up until you forgive me" Criss said looking at her.

"No Lily, NO! you know what? is my fault why you're not with me right now, cuz if I had listen to you back then, you would be with me right now, probably not as my girlfriend but as my wife and who knows! probably by now we would of had a family" he said as his eyes started to get watery.
Liliana slowly bent down as her eyes met his, "Criss, I'm not going to forgive you because I have nothing to forgive you about, I understood that you were mad that day, you didn't know what was going on, of course you had the right tot react like that against me..so please stand up" she said in a gentle voice as she stroke his cheek.

"This is E news, Hello my name is Giuliana Rancic. Breaking news! Has Johnny Depp and Liliana called it quits!!!??"

Liliana and Criss quickly looked at the t.v screen when they heard the news. Liliana quickly grabbed the remote and turn up the volume.

"Bomb shell!, Liliana was spotted this afternoon in Las Vegas with none other than...Criss angel??? Yes sir, the paparazzi spotted this two coming out of a restaurant down Las Vegas Strip..you may be asking your self...Liliana where is Johnny? (Shows pics of Criss and Lily) This morning the paparazzi also caught Liliana arriving at her hotel alone!!...now where is Johnny Depp!? rumor has it that the couple has called quits making Liliana run to Criss Angel for support. CH. 46 Stuck in the moment
Liliana paced back and forth in the living room annoyed. Criss quickly got up from the couch and grabbed her by the arm to stop her.
"Ahh this is a mess" she said as she run her fingers through her hair.
"Lily, it's just gossip, you know that you and Johnny haven't broken up, why are you like this?" Criss said.
"It bothers me cuz their always talking about my relationship with Johnny, I'm tired of that" she stated as she took a sip of water.
Criss grabbed the remote control and turned off the t.v.
"Just relax" he said as he grabbed her arm and sat her down on the couch. Liliana put her head back on the couch and closed her eyes.

Criss who was sitting beside her was enjoying the view, but he then said, "Lily how long have you been with Johnny? which made Liliana open her eyes and look at him, " six year, why?" Criss was amazed that they had been together for such a long time, he didn't know what else to say and just told her that he was just curious.
Suddenly Liliana's phone went off, she glanced at Criss and quickly got up from the couch to go grab her phone that was in her purse.
She took the phone out and took at look at the caller ID, she glanced at Criss who was in the living room watching her. "Who is it?" he said, but Liliana didn't said nothing and quickly answered the phone.

"Hello" she said as she looked down.
"Ohh hey baby, how's Reno' she said as she gave a quick look at Criss. Criss rapidly knew that it was Johnny the one calling. He sighed and walked over where Liliana was.

"Ohh that's great babe...yeah I'm here in the apartment...yeah I went shopping...(Criss gets to where Liliana is and looks at her)..yeah...oh that's good I'm glad...what?...Criss??...(Looks at Criss)...why?? (Criss eye's widen)...you saw that??..well I, I..I run to him in the mall, he was with his niece and they invited me to lunch...his niece?..her dad picked her up, that's why when we got out of the restaurant it was only me and him...yeah he gave me a ride back to the apartment...if he's here?? (looks a Criss again)..No babe umm he left hours ago, he just stayed for awhile and left...ohh ok babe, well take care, call me tomorrow..ok goodnight love ya"

Liliana hanged the phone as she sighed.
"He saw the news?" Criss asked. " Yeah, he told me that he was coming out of the shower and that the t.v was on and that's when he saw" Liliana said as she looked at the time. "Oh my god its almost 11 pm." she stated looking back at Criss.
"Oh wow time sure goes by quickly, we arrived here around 3:00..well I guess I better go" Criss said as he looked at his watch and then grabbed his car keys that where on top of the table.
Liliana walked him to the door. Criss was about to open the door when he turn around and said, "I'm glad we talked and everything is clear about what happened back in Italy"

"Yeah me too" Liliana said with a smile. Suddenly they both got quiet, and stared at each other. Criss couldn't resist anymore and planted a kiss on Liliana. They were kissing with such passion and ardor and so caught in the moment, that without prior notice they were making their way through the bedroom door.

Ch. 47 To little to late

Criss and Liliana were living the moment with such passion like there was no tomorrow. Criss' tender kisses made Liliana feel like she was floating on air. As Criss slowly and sweetly kissed Liliana's neck, Liliana opened her eyes and looked to her right. She saw picture hanging on the wall. It was a picture of Tim, Helena Boham carter and Johnny at the premier of Sweeney Todd.

"Stop...stop!" she demanded as she rose from the bed pushing Criss away from her.
"what? why? whats wrong?" Criss asked confused as he sat on the bed.
"I can't do this!" Liliana said as she put her hands on her face and looked down.
" Lily I don't get it...why?" Criss continued to ask.
"I can't do this to Johnny..I'm sorry" Liliana said as tears began to stroll down her face.
" it's always about Johnny!!!" Criss shouted with anger.
"What do you expect, he's my boyfriend!!" Liliana yelled back as she rose from the bed and wiped her tears away.

Criss stood up from the bed and began to paced back and forth as he put his hand over his mouth. Liliana just stared at him.
"Now I can see that....you (sigh) don't love me anymore...your in love...but with Johnny" Criss said looking at Liliana.
Liliana just kept crying.
"Criss..." Liliana said between sobs.
" who was I kidding into thinking that you and me can work things out! for heavens sake, you don't love me anymore...I was hoping that you and me had another chance together...that we had another opportunity to keep up with our lives ...but I guess I was wrong" Criss shouted as he continued to paced back and forth.
"You don't get it Criss, I can't do this to Johnny he.."
"Oh oh I see, so he can cheat on you but you can't cheat on him...oh wow that makes sense" Criss said sarcastically.

"That's not the point Criss, he told me that he regretted that, do you think that if he didn't love he would be with me right now?? No I don't think so" Liliana said.
"you never stopped loving him huh? I mean that has to be it, that's why you stopped" Criss continued to say in an upsetting tone.
"That's not true!...I loved you like you had no idea..." Liliana stated.
"Oh you loved me!? so that means that you don't longer do (chuckles) I'm so stupid!! damn it!"
"Criss I..."
"Oh save it Liliana, save it! I don't wanna hear anything else, you just said it, you don't love me anymore....Good bye Liliana" Criss said as he stormed out of the room.

" Criss wait! please! wait" Liliana said as she followed him out the door.
As Criss reached for the door nob to open it, Liliana jumped in front of him blocking the door.
"Criss please! let me..."
"Damn it Liliana, just leave it like it is..get away from the door" he said furious.
"Criss if I didn't love you I wouldn't be doing..."
"Shut up Liliana Shut up!" Criss shouted as he grabbed her by the arms and pulled her away from blocking the door. He opened it and stormed out.

"Criss! Criss!" Liliana shouted as she run behind him. Criss got to his car and started the engine. Liliana reached the car and began to slam on the window. "Criss please don't do this" But Criss didn't rolled down the window. Liliana then got herself in front of the car so Criss wouldn't leave.
"Damn it Liliana get away from there" Criss screamed as he rolled down the window.
"I won't do it until you listen to me" she demanded.
Criss stepped out of his car with such fury making Liliana startled with fear and quickly stepped away from the car.

"Look Liliana, just forget that this ever happen, I will let you live you life with Johnny and I won't bother you no more" Criss said in a serious tone.
"But Criss!"
"Just! (sigh) leave it like that ok?" Criss said as he returned back to his car.
Liliana was still crying with such emotion as she saw the love of his live speed away into the distance.
"I still love you" she whispered.

CH. 48

When Criss reached the Luxor, he got out of his car and made his way through the hotel lobby to go straight to his room. He didn't want to talk to anyone in that moment, he knew that if he stumbled upon someone, he would let all his anger out on that person. Dimi was on lobby talking to some friends and as she turned around she saw her uncle Criss walking at a distance.

"I'll be right back"Dimi said to her friends as she started running to catch Criss.
"Uncle! Uncle Criss!" she yelled. But with all the people walking around and the noise Criss didn't heard her. Dimi saw that Criss was going to get the elevator so she hurried herself up to catch him before he got on it. As Criss waited for the elevator door to open he felt a tap on his shoulder making him turn around.
"Uncle Criss I was calling you but you didn't hear me!" Dimi said as she tried to catch her breath.
"Oh" he said in an annoying tone.
"I see that you barely got here, how did it go with Liliana? I'm guessing you two had fun huh" Dimi said all excited.

Criss let out a groan of frustration, "That's none of your business Dimi" he said upset.
"Oh what? what's wrong? you don't need to give me an attitude" Dimi said starting to feel annoyed.
" Ahh Dimi please!..and by the way what are you doing still up at this kind of hour? and in the lobby?...go back to your room!" Criss furiously stated and began to make his way through the elevator.
"Damn just because it didn't go well doesn't mean you need to get all your anger out on me!!" Dimi shouted back to Criss and turn around to leave.
"Ahhh Dimi, wait up!" Criss shouted but Dimi already had run away. Criss got to his room and collapsed himself on the sofa.

As Dimi got to her room, she opened the door and saw that her dad was in the living room. She quickly went through the living room so her dad wouldn't notice that she was crying.
"Good night dad" she said as she walk to her room.
"Hey Dimi, come back here, how did it go with your friends?" JD stated. Dimi knew that she couldn't avoid her dad so she went back to the living room. When JD saw Dimi crying, he got worried and went to hug her.
"Sweetie what's wrong?" he stated as they both walk to the couch to seat down.

"Oh nothing..." Dimi said between sobs. "Baby, tell me what happen?" JD asked in a worried tone.
"My..(sobs)..uncle...Criss (sobs)...screamed at me!" Dimi said with such emotion. " Criss? why?" JD asked.
"Cuz I asked...him how it went with Liliana and he got all mad and screamed at me telling me to go back to my room!" she said.
"Oh sweetie I'm sure he didn't mean it, I guess something went wrong...I'm sure he didn't wanted to let his anger out on his favorite niece...tell you what? I'm gonna go and talk to him ok" JD said to Dimi as he gave her a kiss on the forehead and headed out the door.

Criss was falling asleep when he heard a knock on the door.
"Criss open up...Its me JD"
Criss got up and went to open the door. "what?" he said at the moment he saw JD.
"Dimi told me that.."
"Ahh I'm sorry ok, I didn't meant to yell at her...It didn't go so well with Liliana" Criss said as he walked back inside. JD fallowed him and swung the door to close it, but failed to shut it properly. They sat on the living room as they kept talking.

"what happened?" JD asked.
Criss let out a sigh of frustration " She's not gonna leave Johnny..."
"I thought she loved you..."
"Well I thought so too, but no! Now its for sure that its all over between us... we were this close, this close in doing it...but she stopped..." Criss said annoyed as he remembered what had happen.
"Oh what??" JD said amazed
"It's over JD, liliana and me are not getting back, our love faded away" Criss said in a sad tone.
"Oh my god! My uncle and Liliana were together when he was back in Europe" Dimi whispered to herself as he heard and peek through the door.
