When I got back to the house Dimitra was there. "Dimitra what are you doing up?" I asked hanging up my coat. "I wanted to talk to you" she replied. I sat next to her a little nervous. "What do you want to talk about?"I asked. "When were you and Criss going to tell me ". "About what?"I asked. "That you and Criss have another child coming"Dimitra stated smiling. I blushed wondering how she knew. "If Criss didn't eat Ciuppin we were going to tell you. How did you know?"I asked. "After you left in the amblunce with Criss Nathan was at the door and he said baby come so I put two and two together" as I chuckled. "He did the same thing with my mom. He's his father's son"I stated. The next day Criss was getting ready to be checked out when his mother came in. "Mom what are you doing here I thought Antonia was coming with the kids?"he inquired. "Criss something happened last night"she asked. Criss felt a lump in his throat thinking my cancer was back. "Are the kids all right?" he asked. "The kids are fine it's Antonia she miscarried last night" his mother replied.

Criss sat down as tears fell down his face. "Is she all right?". "So far she's at the house. JD and Costa took the kids out for her seck" she remarked. "Was she alone when it happened?" Criss asked with a lump in his throat. "She yelled for me when it happened. She needs you right now Christopher"his mother remarked. Criss got up and gave his mom a hug. "Thanks for being there mom when I couldn't". In New Jeresy my uncle was looking over a few thing when my grandmother came in. "Dennis Christopher is on the phone for you". He picked up the phone. "Criss how are you I heard what happened last night I should of told that Ciuppin is fish stew Johnny loved that stuff"he said. "Thanks but I'm calling on Antonia's behalf". "Criss what's wrong is her cancer back?" he asked. "No she lost the baby last night"Criss stated trying not to cry. "Is she all right?". "Yea my mom was with her when it happened"Criss stated. "Well when she wants it I'll come down to see her"he remarked. "I'll tell her I should go see how she is" and Criss hung up. After my father hung up he sat back in his chair wiping away tears. "Is Antonia all right are the kids all right"my grandmother inquired.

"The kids are fine it's Antonia that isn't. You know how I told you she's pregnant again well last night she had a miscarriage" he replied. "Poor Antonia was anyone there I know Criss was in the hospital"she inquired. "His mother was I'm going to tell Rosa and Carol" and got up. At the house I was in bed just staring out the widnows as tears fell down my face. Criss just stared at me than came in. He took his shoes off and crawled over to me. He hugged me as I started to cry. As I cried tears fell down his face too. "It's allright Antonia" he kept telling me as I just held on Criss.

A few days had passed since the miscarriage and I just kept to myself and said nothing. Criss on the other hand threw himself into work. At the Luxor JD, Costa, and Lynn were talking. "I can't believe this happened to them I feel so bad for them"Lynn said. "When I went to drop off some stuff Antonia was outside just playing with the kids than Criss came down didn't say good-bye to Antonia and we left"Costa stated. "I noticed Criss threw himself into work and doing Believe. He won't talk about it and how he's handling it much less Antonia" JD remarked as Criss filed something. "I think it's time to talk to Criss and Antonia before they end up in divorce court"Lynn suggested. "Yea me too" JD replied. At the house the kids were asleep while I was having a drink of wine when Lynn came in.

"Hey Antonia". "Hey Lynn want a drink of wine?"I offered. "I talked to Criss and he wanted me to bring you to The Luxor he wants to talk to you". "Why didn't he just call me or come home". "I don't know I can't read Criss's mind lord knows he does it to me sometimes". "What about the kids?". "Don't worry Dimi is going to watch the kids so why don't you change and we'll go" she remarked. I put the glass down and went upstiars. In the office Criss was signing some stuff when Costa came in. "Hey Christopher"he said shutting the door. "Why Costa I'm busy" he stated not looking up. "I was thinking that maybe we could get some dinner before you have to do Believe tonight". "I don't know". "Please I could use the company JD is with Lynn and everyone else has plans you know I hate to eat alone"Costa begged. "All right". When they came out JD walked over. "Criss I need your help with something". "All right".

When Criss came in I was standing there. "What's going on here what's Antonia doing here. Where are the kids?"Criss asked. "Criss relax Dimi is watching the kids but we wanted to talk to you and Antonia alone". "About what?"I asked. "What happened in New York guys. You two haven't been yourself and I know first hand if you don't deal with the emotions you're feeling you're going to end up doing something you're going to regret"JD said. "JD I'm fine all right we don't need an intervention"Criss replied. "Criss before this happened you would go home to have lunch or make time to spend time with your wife and kids. Since Antonia had the miscarriage you've thrown yourself into work untill it time for Believe"Costa remarked. "And Antonia I've noticed you've bee n becoming distance with us and Criss. Drinking when it's like ten in the morning and sometimes ignoring the twins when they cry"Lynn said. Criss looked shocked when he heard that. "It's just so hard to forget what happened"I stated.

Lynn walked over to me. "I know I've gone through it myself before Dimi came into our lives". "You guys have been through so much in your lives that you're letting this miscarriage destroy your marriage you can't let it"JD stated. "Than what would you like us to do act like it didn't happen"Criss yelled out. "That's what you're doing right now Christopher if you want to jump this hurdle and start living again see a psychiatrist". "I don't need it JD we're fine"I replied. "Antonia Criss I thought we were too but we weren't so we talk to someone and he helped us enough that we got over that hurdle and had Dimi. I talked to the guys who help me and Lynn he sayes this guy is good" giving Criss a number. Criss looked at the number than at me. "All right". I walked over to Criss and gave him a hug.

After talking with JD, Costa, and Lynn Criss and I realized they were right we were distincing each other and not taking care of what happened in New York so we decided to go see the theripist. The next day when JD arrived he didn't see Criss's car. JD went to the office and Costa was there. "Where's Criss it's not Monday". "He's taking some time off I guess the invention got through to them"Costa replied. "I hope so I don't want to see those two divorce"JD stated. "Is what you said true you and Lynn saw someone". "I wasn't lieing we needed to talk to someone because we were getting close to divorce"JD replied. Then my mom came in. "Natilee how can we help you?" Costa inquired. "I was talking to Wilma did Antonia have a miscarriage while in New York?".

"Yea". She sat down. "How is she doing?". "She was becoming distance with the kids and Criss but she and Criss are seeing a therapist"Costa remarked. At the house Criss was changing Zoey's diaper when Nathan walked in. "Mommy where's mommy" he asked. "Mommy went outwill be back soon"Criss replied. "Stinky"Nathan stated "You're not kidding"Criss replied as he tried not to throw up. After he finished Criss put Zoey in her crib for a nap as Criss took Nathan downstairs. Before I knew it it was the twin's birthday and everyone including my family came down to celebrate. "You sure you want to do this?"Criss asked me as I changed Zoey. "Criss it's been four months since the miscarriage. I just to enjoy the party we're throwing for the girls"I replied smiling. Then Nathan tugged on Criss's pants. "What Nathan?"Criss asked. Uncle JD here he signed. "All right come on let's go see uncie JD" and they left. Downstairs JD, Lynn and Dimi were there. "Hey guys nice of you to come". "Come on Nathan let's go swing outside"Dimi suggested. Nathan jumped up and down as they went outside. "So how are you Antonia doing?". "Better I think the therpy helped so thanks"Criss replied. "No problem we just didn't want to see you and Antonia divorce after everything you've been thorugh"JD stated.

"So where are the birthday girls?". "Verida is outside with mom and Zoey is having her diaper change"Criss remarked. "And I see we've started solid foods" JD stated as he pointed to a stain on Criss's shirt. "I think when I feed them I may wear a rain poncho and googles"Criss remarked. "Hey guys"I stated as I came down with Zoey. "Let me take the birthday girl"Lynn suggested. I passed her to Lynn and we all went outside. Outside Criss's mother was holding Veridia's hand as she tried to walk. "She's trying"Dimitra said. "They're both holding on to stuff but Criss think Zoey's going to walk first"I remarked sitting down. "Christopher was ready to walk the day he was born"Dimitra stated as Criss blushed. "Nathan didn't walk he ran"I said as everyone laughed. "Where's your father and Wilma I thought they were coming today?"my mother inquired. "And where is Costa?"Dimitra asked.

"I talked to Costa he's sick"Criss replied. "And dad couldn't make it out and my grandmother caught the flu from my Aunt Rosa". As we talked I put Zoey and Veridia down on the grass. "So Antonia have you thought of where you're going to put the bakery yet?"Lynn inquired. "Not in the The Luxor Criss's sweet tooth is going to get Criss a gut"JD joked. Criss rolled his eyes. "I haven't decided yet I've been looking thou". "Mommy" Nathan called out. We turned around and we saw Zoey walking with Veridia following untill they fell on their butts. Everyone cheered as Criss and I picked them up. "Now that's one way to celebrate a birthday"Criss remarked. "Mommy"Verdia stated. "Did she just say mommy?"Criss asked. "Daddy"Zoey stated. Everyone chuckled but Criss and I had a big smile on our faces.

After everything that happened the months seem to fly by before I knew it was Criss's birthday and I was throwing Criss a surprise party at Serenity and with a little help from his brothers I hoped to keep the party a surprise. My father even offered to make the birthday cake for Criss which I couldn't wait to see. At the house I making sure everything was ready as my grandmother was helping Nathan wrap a gift for his father. How's it going, I signed to Nathan. He showed me and I gave him a kiss. Very good daddy may not want to unwrap it because you did so well. That made Nathan smile. "So when are JD and Costa bringing Criss home?"my grandmother inquired getting a drink. "Around seven I just hope dad gets here with the cake"I worried. "Don't worry your father has never been late"she replied sitting next to Nathan. "Well let's just hope he doesn't start now"I muttered.

A knock came to the door so I went to answer it. I opened the door and standing there with the cake was my dad. "Daddy thank god I almost thought you wouldn't make it" giving him a kiss. "Well I had to make a pit stop in New York" he stated. Stepping out of the truck was Dimitra. "Dimitra I thought you couldn't get a flight out because of the winter storm warning in New York" as she came in. "Well I knew your father was bringing the cake so I asked if he could give me a lift which he was happy to do" giving my dad a kiss which made my dad blush. "Well come on Criss isn't surpose to be here untill seven". When Dimitra saw what I had done to the place. "Antonia this place is amazing Christopher is going to go bonkers when he sees this"she stated. "Question how are you keeping Criss away?"my father asked. "Well his brother packed his schedule and he has a rehearsal for Believe than around six thirty Felix is going to come down to tell Criss that a water pipe broke in Believe so he canceling Believe and tells him to go home for the night than surprise"I explained.

"And if something goes wrong?". "I told JD to knock him out tie him up and put him in the trunk of his car and bring him here". That made Dimitra and my grandmother and father giggle. "Well Christopher knows I'm coming so I'm going to see him I'll see you later". "Hold on we can both play the game"my father stated and they left. "I think your father likes Criss's mom"my grandmother stated. "Grandmom please that's like dating you no offense"I replied trying to get that thought out of my head. Back at The Luxor Criss was reading some of the birthday card the loyals sent him when he saw his mom and my father walk in. "Mom Dennis how nice to see you" giving his mom a hug. "Happy birthday Criss"my father said. "Thanks so what brings you down here?" Criss asked my dad. "It's a funny story I was devilering a cake to Planet Hollywood when your mom calls me up and infos me that because of the winter storm warning they cancelled some flights including your mothers so I offered your mom a lift to Las Vegas". "That's one way to save on airline miles"Criss replied.

"Christopher are you OK you look a little pale". "It's nothing mom you know me I get white when we go into the winter months" Criss stated rubbing his side. "Why you rubbing your stomach?"my father asked. "I just eat something that's not sitting right"he replied. "Have you been vomiting Christopher?". "I did this afternoon after lunch" he replied a little embrassed he was having this conversation with his mother and father-in-law. "Criss have you had your appendix taking out?"my father inquired. "I don't think so why?". "Because I think you maybe spending your birthday on an operating table having it removed". "" Criss muttered. "What's wrong?". "The pain is getting sharp instead of dull"Criss replied. "Dimitra find either JD or Costa we have to Criss to the hospital"my father remarked. In Believe JD was on the phone with me. "He hasn't figured it out yet and Felix is all set for his part". "That's great also your mother and my father should be down there and they know about the party so just play along with their story"."All right" and hung up as Gerard came running in.

"JD we've got a problem a big one"he stated catching his breath. "Don't tell me someone let the rabbit out of the hat". "No but it's worse your mother and Antonia's father just took Criss to the ER Criss maybe having his appendix taking out". JD's mouth fell on the floor. "Are you pulling my chain?". "No". Back at the house I was putting some of the platters in the refrigator when the phone rang and saw it was JD again. "What's up JD Criss wants to come home". "Something unexpected came up". "What Criss have an interview that ran later?". "Worse my mom and your father just took Criss to the ER Criss may need his appendix talking out tonight". "Are you kidding me JD am I being punked?"I asked as my grandmother walked over. "I wish you were you better cancel the party the guest of honor won't be there" and hung up. "Baby what's wrong?" she asked as I hung up the phone. "I've got to postpone the party"I replied. "Why Criss stuck in another state?" she inquired. "I wish dad and Dimitra just took Criss to the ER he may need his appendix taking out tonight"

Well my dad and Dimitra were right Criss had to have an appendectomy. When Criss woke up he saw me just looking out the window. "Antonia"he muttered. "Hey baby" giving him a kiss on his head. "This is not the way I wanted to spend my birthday"he stated. "Consider it a bad birthday gift from your father" which made Criss chuckle. "I just wanted to make sure you're all right and everything came out good"I stated. "Where are the kids at home with my mom?". "With my grandmother and dad". "One kid for each adult to watch" Criss joked as I chuckled. "Well I let you rest and tomorrow I'll bring the kids to see you". I gave Criss a hug and a kiss as he fell back asleep. When I got home I saw my father had fallen asleep on the couch. I went upstairs and the twins were asleep but when I went into Nathan's room he was awake. Nathan why yo still awake sitting on the side of his bed.

Daddy always reads me a story when he doesn't have to work andhe said he would tonight but grandmom did it why. "Well unfortunely dad had to have an operation to get rid of something that was making him sick but I saw him a few minutes ago and he's allright. Why don't you go to sleep and tomorrow you, me, your sisters, and Nannie will go see daddy in the hospital. We'll also bring his gifts for his birthday too". Nathan smiled as he snuggled into bed. Good night my sweet guy. Nathan signed good night and closed his eyes.

The next morning Criss was relaxing whne a knock came to the door. "Come in" Criss replied. The door opened and Dimitra and I came in with the kids behind us. Criss smiled as Nathan was helping his sisters walk in. "How you feeling today?" I asked as I closed the door. "Sore"he said. Then I noticed Criss had an IV as I looked around I saw a crash cart in his room and oxygen. Nathan started to tug on my pant leg. "What's the matter Nathan?"I asked. "Need to go potty"he replied. "I'll take him" and Dimitra left with Nathan as Zoey and Verdia were walking around. "Criss did something happen last night?". "I had to be giving antibodics but they gave me the wrong kind and I went to Anaphylactic shock. They said I was dead for thirty seconds". "Oh my god" as I felt my heart go right down into my stomach. "But I'm fine now Antonia don't worry isn't the first time it happened". I breathed a sigh of relief as Zoey tried climbing but I got her and brought over Verdia who was ready to climb into a chair.

"How are these two girls doing?" Criss asked as I gave him Verdia. "They've been walking like crazy Zoey even tried to climb up the stairs untill your mother caught her. Nathan's been a good big brother keeping his eyes on them when I can't". Dimitra came with Nathan who was sucking on a lolipop. "Where did he get that Dimitra?"I asked. "One of the nurses gave it to him since he went to the potty all by himself". I gave Nathan a kiss. Very good Nathan I signed. "That's very good Nathan you're becoming a big boy"Criss replied. "Can we give daddy gift?" Nathan asked. "They're in the bag Nathan can you get them?". Nathan walked over and took out two gifts than he walked back. "What's you got man?"Criss asked. "Rthday gifts for daddy" he remarked as Criss tried not to laugh. I put Nathan on my lap as he gave the gift to Criss. His mother took Verdia as Zoey held on to my leg standing. Criss opened it and it was a family picture of all of us. "That's wonderful this is going in my office at The Luxor"Criss replied.

"Open this"Nathan remarked giving it to him. "All right buddy"Criss said. "Me pick it out all by self"Nathan stated with a smile. "And with a little help from my grandmother he wrapped it too"I added. "Really well let's see". Criss opened it and it was a leather jacket with his insigna embrodded on the back. "Nathan this is awesome you've got good taste" and gave Nathan a kiss. Nathan blushed than Verida and Zoey started to cry a little. "I think someone is hungry". "And needs a change"Criss added. "I think that's our cue to let you rest but I'll come back later on all right". Dimitra gave Criss a kiss and Criss said good-bye to everyone as we left.

That night I came back and Costa was just leaving. "Hey Costa" giving him a hug. "I see you're here to see Criss he told me about the gifts you gave him". "I know Nathan and the girls were thrilled seeing Criss"I replied. "Well JD is just finishing up and than we're going to go to Serenity and take our mom for dinner". "Costa my grandmother had to go back to New Jeresy last night with my dad so your mom is watching the kids for me"I replied. JD came in and saw Costa's face. "What's wrong?"he asked. "Mom is watching the kids for Antonia so unless you want to take the kids with us we're not taking mom out"Costa remarked. "Sorry guys maybe next time" and went in to see Criss. I came in as Criss was watching a little TV.

"I told you I'd be back"I stated. "Good I was counting the minutes untill you came" he said with a smile. I pulled up a seat as Criss turned off the television. "Your brother are a little ticked at me. They wanted to take your mom out but since my grandmother had to go back to New Jeresy and my mom is working tonight with Jill she was the only one available to watch the kids,". After I finished Criss was sweating a little and looked like he was unconfortable. "You allright?"I asked. "The reason they gave me antibodics is because I got Peritonitis"Criss replied. "Imflantion of the peritoneum believe or not my appendix popped and I got that myself” Criss chuckled than I started to chuckle as well. After talking with Criss for a while I saw he was getting tired so I gave him a kiss and left. When I got back Little D was watching a movie. "Hey Antonia" she stated.

"How much did you father brib you to watch the kids so he could take his mom out to dinner". "Fifty bucks plus suspension of my curfew on the weekends for a month" she replied smiling. "Just don't stay out all night my father nearly had a stoke when I did that at your age" I remarked. "I won't". She grabbed her coat and left. I checked on the kids than I went to bed as well.

The days went on and Criss's infection went away that he finally got to come home considering in a few days it was going to be Christmas. "Thank god I'm finally out of the hospital I did not want to spend Christmas there"Criss remarked. "I don't think anyone does Christopher"I stated wrapping a gift. "Where are the kids it's so quiet it's scarey"Criss replied sitting down. "JD and Costa took Nathan to see a movie and your mother and my mother took the twins out than they're going to meet up and the kids are going to see Santa while I wrap some gifts"I stated. "So have you decided on whether you're going to start that bakery your uncle wanted you to start?"Criss wondered. "I put that on hold untill the kids are in school"I replied getting up. "Come on Antonia there's something else" Criss stated walking over to me. Before I could say it the phone rang.

"Hello-Oh hey Dave what come on Dave I've been out of the hospital for a day and a half do we have to do this now. All right," and hung up. "I have to talk to Dave about something I'll be back"Criss remarked. I said nothing so Criss left. When the gang came home I wasn't there. "Antonia where are you?"my mom called out. Nobody answered so my mom went upstairs to see if I was taking a nap. "Is she up there?"Dimitra called up. "No maybe she and Criss went out" she replied coming down the stairs. Then the door opened and Criss walked in. "Where's Antonia Christopher?"his mother asked. "I don't know she was here when I left to talk to Dave for a few minutes"Criss replied. My mom went into Criss's office and found something on his desk. "CHRISTOPHER NICHOLAS!!" she yelled out. Criss ran in with his mother following. "Why do you have divorce papers for you and Antonia". "Christopher are you serious?" as Criss looked at them. "I-I-don't remember having these drawn up" as he went to call his lawyer.

"Hey David it's Christopher Sarantakos I've got a question for you. Did you have divorce papers drawn up for me and my wife. Yea who told you to draw this up. Seriously thanks" and hung up. Criss put the phone down. "What's wrong Christopher?"his mother inquired. He looked up as tears were falling down his face. "Costa and JD asked David to have them drawn up" wiping the tears away. "Where is everyone?" a voice called out. Dimitra and Natilee came out as Nathan ran over to them. "I thought we were meeting up"Costa remarked. "JD Costa your brother wants to talk to you in his office and we'll take the kids to see Santa. Come on Nathan let's go get your sisters ready" Dimitra replied and they went upstairs while JD and Costa walked into Criss's office.

Criss felt like spitting nails at his brothers or giving them Oscars for their performance of liking me when they hadn't changed their ways at all. Costa opened the door and came in with JD. "What's wrong Criss" Costa said when he saw his face. "I have a question for you two. Do you still have a problem with Antonia?"he asked looking at them. "No"JD replied. "We love Antonia" Costa added as Criss got up. "Than why did you ask my lawyer to draw up divorce papers for me" throwing the papers at his brothers. JD and Costa said nothing as Criss was trying to keep his temper under control. "We were just-". "Looking out for me god not this again. Why don't you trust Antonia?"Criss asked. "It's just the way she's been actting lately"Costa replied. "So you want me to divorce her just because the way she's been actting. If you guys have forgotten Antonia nearly lost her life to cancer than she lost her uncle to cancer. She also had a miscarriage that hit her hard but me too. Now you guys are making it look like I don't care about her or our marriage," Criss replied.

JD and Costa looked at their brother. Criss took the papers back and put them throw the shredder. "Now if you don't mind I have to find my wife" and Criss left. Criss's cell phone rang and saw it was my Aunt Rosa. "Rosa please tell me Antonia is there"he stated. "She is Criss she came home saying you're divorcing her". "No it's a misunderstanding which I'm going to kill my brothers for. Please Rosa let me speak to her"Criss asked. "If that's Criss tell him he can make himself disappear". "I don't think she'll talk to you Christopher I'm sorry" and hung up. "I told you she wasn't who you thought she was"JD replied. Criss turned around and hit JD knocking him to the ground. "CHRISTOPHER!!" his mother called out from upstairs. Criss grabbed his keys. "Mom can you watch the kids for the night I have to go somewhere"Criss said. "Where?" Costa asked. "New Jersey" and Criss left.
