The next day Criss got woken up by a banging at the door. He hoobled downstairs as his mother opened her door. "Who's at the door?"she asked half asleep. "if it's JD or Costa I may kill them"he remarked. He opened the door to find Christina. "I've been knocking for ten minutes I was about ready to throw stones at your window"she replied. "And good morning to you too"Criss stated as Christina walked in. "Yo Tiffany" she called out. Tiffany came down the stairs and gave Christina a hug. Criss hobbled over to his mother. "Did you know she was coming?"she inquired. "I had a feeling but not this fast"Criss remarked. "Christopher what happened to you. Stunt gone wrong" when she Criss's leg. "Long story you remember my mom". "Yes sorry to wake you but when Tiffany called and told me what happened to Edwina I just had to come down to see her"Christina remarked.

"Next time give us a little warning so we can be dressed and not doing our impression of the walking dead"Criss stated. "I will so where's Edwina?". "They kept her in the hospital visiting hours aren't untill eight. Why don't we let Criss and Dimitra catch a few more winks let's go out to breakfast"Tiffany suggested. "All right and we'll drop off my suicase at the hotel". Tiffany grabbed her keys and they left. "Thank you"Criss muttered. "Well I'm going back to sleep need some help upstairs". "Oh my god Christopher are you all right it sounded like someone was stabbing you". "It's my knee-I got hit with a hard stabbing pain"Criss replied biting his lip. "I'm taking you to the ER" Dimitra remariked and went to get some slothes on as Criss tried not to move.

At his house JD was sleeping when the phone rang. He rolled over and let the call go to the answering message. At the hospital Criss was bring looked at while Dimitra tried to get a hold of either JD or Costa to tell them when happened, but couldn't. She walked to Criss who's laying there. "What did the doctor say?". "My knee cap popped out and slammed into a nerve"Criss replied. "What's going to happen will you need surgery or something". "I-don't know mom the doctor went to check some x-rayes they did"he remarked. "Just relax Christopher"she said. The door opened and Tiffany walked in. "Christopher I thought some nurses were joking when they said you were down here" she remarked.

"What are you doing in the hospital?". "They let me and Christina in early by the way I'm going to need three tickets to Believe"she stated. "How's Edwina. Did you tell her I'm down here?". "Not on your life Christopher I wouldn't scare her into labor"she stated. Dimitra walked over with the doctor. "So what's going on?". "Unfortunely Criss your ACL has been tore and your going to need surgery to fix it or you're going to do a lot of damage to your knee"the doctor stated. Criss thought. "When can the surgery be done?"Dimitra inquired. "We can do it later on this afternoon". "Better try Costa or JD again mom and give Dave a heads up" Criss stated. "All right"and they left.

Up stairs Edwina was relaxing in bed as Tiffany came back. "Where did you go someone ask you to check on a patient"she joked. You could say that Tiffany thought as Christina came in with some water. "Here you go Edwina" giving her one. "Thanks it's so dry in here"she replied. "I just over heard some nurses they saw Criss's mom downstairs". "Is she all right?"Edwina asked. "Edwina take it easy we don't want you to go into preterm labor again"Tiffany remarked. "I should give Criss a call make sure he knows his mother is here" grabbing the phone. Just than Dimitra walked in. "Hello ladies" she remarked as Edwina put down the phone. "Dimitra so good to see you" as she gave Edwina a hug.

"I just wanted to see how you were. Criss was really scared last night"she replied. "Christina why don't we give them some time only". "But what about-". Before she could say it Tiffany shoved her outside. "So where's Criss I thought he was going to stop by before he had to go to work" Edwina said. "Edwina Christopher is downstairs in the ER". "Don't tell me his knee went out again"she stated. "Edwina Christopher has to have surgery on his knee he tore his ACL". "When's the surgery?". "This afternoon Christopher wanted me to explain it to you"she stated. Edwina took a breath as Dimitra took her hand. "At least it's not his heart". Dimitra smiled thinking the same thing. "I should go and see how Christopher is and if his brothers have shown up"Dimitra said. "Tell Criss I love him" she stated. "I will" and left.

In the ER Criss was on cloud nine since they gave him pain medication. "I see they gave you some pain medication". Walking in was his mother. "How did Edwina take the news" he asked as Dimitra sat down. "Better than I thought she wanted me to tell you she loves you" she replied. "Mom do me a favor?". "Sure baby what is it?"Dimitra asked. "If Edwina goes into labor while I'm in surgery I want you to be there even if she has to have a c-section"Criss asked. "Yes Christopher I promised" and gave Criss a kiss on his head. "It's time"the nurse said to them. "Be good Christopher and I'll see you when you wake up" his mother remarked.

In her room Edwina was relaxing as Dimitra came in. "Christopher just went into surgery". "Good I hope everything is going to be all right"she replied she rubbed her stomach. "Don't worry Edwina everything will up allright" Dimitra remarked. Edwina giggled a little. "One of the babies is moving around. You want to feel Dimitra?". "Sure". Edwina put her hand on where the baby was moving and Dimitra giggled. "Christopher was the same way when he was inside me"Dimitra remembered. Edwina smilled. A clearing of the throat was heard they turned around and saw her sister. "The nurse is kicking us out for a while"Tiffany stated. "I'll let you rest now Edwina"Dimitra remarked. "Thanks Dimitra and keep me informed about Criss"she asked. "I will" and they left. "Why don't we go get something to eat Dimitra"Christina stated. "Hold on for a minute" and Dimitra went over to one of the nurses than came back to them.

When Criss came out of surgery and woke up his mother was there. "How you feeling?". The first words was is Edwina all right. "She's all right Christopher just wondering how you are?". "You wouldn't lie to me mom?"he asked. "Christopher stop talking your voice is like nails on a chalkboard now relax". Criss closed his eyes and fell back asleep. When he woke up again JD was sitting there reading the Las Vegas time. "JD"he said. His throat still sore from the breathing tube. JD put down the paper. "Hey bro". "Where's mom?". "She's visiting Edwina here take a drink of water," Criss lifted his head and took a sip of water through a straw. "And I know what your next question is: The triplets are still inside Edwina". Criss smiled. Thanks dad for keeping them in "Maybe tomorrow I'll take you to see Edwina now just relax". The next day Dimitra came to see Christopher but when she got there the nurse was changing his sheets.

"Where's my son?"she asked a little nervous. "Right here mom". She turned and saw Criss in a wheelchair. She sighed a bit of relief as they brought a chair over. "Why don't you sit right here while we finish cleaning up in here"the nurse remarked wheeling Criss next to his mom. "You spooked me when I didn't see you in there". "Well I woke up this morning and started to feel sick to my stomach before I knew it I threw up all over myself. I called a nurse and she came in as I threw up again so she got a wheelchair and got me out of my bed. As they put me they decided to take me down to one of the wheelchair showers and wash me off"Criss replied itching his head a little. "Are you all right now?". "Yea the nurse said it's common a accournace for someone who's had surgery"he replied.

After they got Criss back into bed JD showed up. "Hey Criss how you feeling?". "Better" Criss replied. "I talked to Tiffany Edwina and the kids are doing good she's just wants to see you"JD stated. "I'll talk to one of the nurses and see if we can sneak you upstairs to see her"Dimitra suggested. "If not Criss can try to magical appear up there". Dimitra chuckled as Criss rolled his eyes. "I'd like to see that"A voice stated. Everyone turned and coming in the room in a wheelchair is Edwina and Tiffany. Criss smiled as Tiffany rolled her over to his bed side. "Why don't we give these two some time alone"Dimitra suggested. Everyone left the room.

"I'm glad you're all right"she stated. "I was afraid that you would have the babies with out me"Criss admitted. "Oh Criss I was the same way I didn't want you to miss it either"she replied. They talked about anything untill Tiffany came back in. "Sorry to cut this short but I got to get her bak upstairs before they think she escaped"Tiffant jokely said. "Very funny I'll call you later baby"Edwina stated. "All right". Criss gave her a kiss and they left.

Weeks had gone by for Edwina like years she was nervous about the triplets that were still growing inside her. Criss was nervous himself hoping they would be strong enough to be born with out medical help. At Serenity Criss was working with his physical therapist as JD and Costa walked in. "Why don't I just let you guys move in here?". "All right Lynn and I will take your room"JD joked. Criss said nothing as the therapist helped him up. "You're doing pretty good Criss. Before you know it Believe will be open again". "Thanks Casey see you next week"Criss remarked. "You got it". Costa watched her leave untill the door closed. "Hello Costa"JD remarked waving his hand infront of his face. "Sorry"he said shaking his head.

"Forget it Costa she's engaged"Criss replied. "Maybe the old Sarantokas's charm will change her mind". "Unless you're the full back for an NFL SuperBowl winning team"Criss said. JD tried not to laugh as Criss with use of a cane went into the kitchen. "Have you heard anything about the kids yet?". "Nothing yet but no news is good news"Criss said. "Lynn's been checking up on her when she works at the hospital"JD stated. "What about her sisters?". "Back home Christina was driving me nuits and I think Edwina was ready to kill Tiffany with her hovering"Criss replied. JD's phone rang and saw it was Lynn. "Hey sweetie what's going on. Seriously all right I'll bring him down right now" and hung up. "It's Edwina and the babies?". "Yea Edwina's blood pressure spiked they need to do emergency c-section or she's going to have a stroke come on" and they left. At the hospital Criss got there in time before they started it. After changing he went into the delivery room to see Edwina on the table.

"Christopher thank god"she said with tears coming down her face. "It's allright Edwina I'm here" holding her hand. "Criss I'm scared what if they're not ready to come out"she stated. Criss wiped her tears away. "Thirty-three weeks is good Edwina just relax"the doctor said. A few seconds went by and the first baby came out small but crying. "Joshua"Criss remarked. "He's got your lungs from what your mom told me you came out screaming" she stated as Criss tried not to laugh. The second one came out but he was struggling a little. "John needs a little help breathing but he looks like a good size"Criss stated. When the last one came out it was crying. "Alexander's here". "I'd think you mean Alexandra"the doctor said. "A girl are you sure?"Edwina inquired. "Yup". Criss got up slowly and looked at all of them. Baby A was five pound even; Baby B four pound three ounces and last but not least baby C five pound six ounces.

Criss took a picture of each of them as they were went to the NICU. In the waiting room JD and Costa were waiting as JD talked to his mom. "Yea we don't know yet mom we'll find out more when we know it. All right" and hung up as Criss came over. "So how are they?". "Joshua is breathing on his own, John needs help, and Rose is having trouble keeping her body temp up"Criss replied. "Wait a minute two boys and a girl I thought it was three boys". "The doctor said that the umbical cord was underneath the baby giving the impression it was a boy"Criss stated. "How's Edwina?". "She's good I took some pictures before they went off to NICU" and showed them to his brothers.

When Criss got to Serenity a taxi pulled up and his mother got out. "Mom what are you doing here?" surprised to see his mom. "When JD told me about the triplets' arrival I caught the first plane out. How are they?". "Pretty good and we got a cool surprise one of the babies is a girl". "A girl wow what are you going to name her Alexandera"she asked as Criss smiled. "Edwina told me that if one of babies was a girl she was going to name it Rose after mother so now that she has a girl that's her name"Criss replied smiling. "Come on let's go in" and they went in. As Dimitra put her stuff away Criss checked the message.

HEY CRISS IT'S DAVE COSTA TOLD ME ABOUT THE TRIPLET'S BIRTH CONGRATES I'LL SEND YOU A BOX OF CHOCOLATE CIGARS YOU CAN PASS OUT. Criss chuckled at Dave's message. CHRISTOPHER NICHOLAS WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL US WE HAD TO HEAR FROM EDWINA ABOUT THE BABIES' BIRTH!!!!. "When I got home I was going to call you Tiffany" Criss muttered. "HEY CRISS CONGRATES ON THE KIDS BETTER GET READY FOR SLEEP DEPRIVATION. WAIT A MINUTE YOU ALLREADY KNOW THAT FEELING. "I need to get new friends"Criss said as he sat down. "Was that Jonathon?" Dimitra inquired sitting next to Criss. "Yup" wiping his eyes. "Christopher have you thought about-". "Stop right there mom I allready told you this Edwina and I aren't getting married because of the babies"Criss replied. "Christopher I think that you and Edwina-". "Mom Edwina doesn't want to get married and neither do I". "Than why didn't you use protection". Criss got up. "Mom I know that you and dad were raised that if you got a girl pregnant that you had to marry him, but things have changed since the fifties". "I just think that if your father did it why couldn't you"she said not realizing what she had said.

"Wait a minute did you just say dad married you because he got you pregnant with JD"Criss stated looking at his mother. Dimitra went speechless. "Is this why you and dad went nuts when JD started sneaking around with Tiffany were you afraid that he was going to get her pregnant than they had to get married". "I need some air". She grabbed her coat and walked out as Criss sat down.

After his mother left Criss's jaw was on the floor. He couldn't believe what his mother had just said. I betch you my life mom wanted to take that secret to her grave like dad did Criss thought. He knew there were some people in the world that got married because of the babies that they made or to forgo the horror of marriage some ladies went to a doctor to 'take care' of it as some people called it. Even growing up he saw how much love his parents had for eachother. Maybe they were meant to be married and JD just the icing on the cakeCriss thought as he went into his office.

Then the door bell rang. "Hey Criss open up". He knew by the voice it was JD. "Come on Criss hurry it up I need to use the bathroom". "Yea Criss before he waters the bushes out here"JD called out. Criss opened the door and Costa ran to the bathroom like his pants were on fire. "I've never seen him run that fast even in high school when he had to run a mile,"JD remarked as Criss shut the door. "I see mom's in town". Criss wondered how he knew than he noticed that mom had left her purse. "Yea a little surprise when I got home" Criss replied. "Well we were going to the hospital to see your kids but Costa's bladder made us come here. Come on Costa". "I'm coming let me wash my hands"he called out. "So where's mom don't tell me she's at the hospital". "No she needed to clear her head about something she told me"Criss remarked.

"What is it bad?"JD asked sitting down. "I'm not sure it has to do with you and her marriage to dad". "What that I was a honeymoon baby I figured that out years ago when I learned math"JD stated as Costa came out. "So our we ready to go". "Not yet come on Criss what is this secret?"JD asked standing up. Criss didn't want to say he decided to let his mother tell JD since it was her secret to tell. "Talk to mom when she gets back it's her secret that she accidently relieved to me"Criss stated. After that Dimitra walked in and saw her sons. "What a nice surprise to see all my boys together"she replied giving them all kisses and hugs. "Mom can I talk to you outside for a minute"JD inquired. "Sure" and they went outside to the patio to talk. Criss even shut the door behind them. "So what is this secret Criss?"Costa asked. "Noway Costa telling you is like tell the people of a tabloid. When Dimitra and JD came back in they were quiet as mice. "So are we ready to go see the triplets?"Costa inquired. "Sure let's go"Dimitra stated. "Why don't you and Costa go I need to talk to Criss about something"JD said. Costa and his mom left. "You all right JD?"Criss asked sitting next to his brother. "I'm like in shock right now. I can't believe I'm the reason they got married"he remarked. "Now I understand a little why mom is pushing this marriage thing on me". "Mom doesn't want you to forget your responsibilty towards your kids". "JD unless Edwina was secretly cheating on me I would never denine those kids are mine. I always wanted to be a father and there's something nobody knows". "What's that?". "When she was about four months along I did ask her to marry me but she asked if it was because she was pregnant or did I really want to marry her"Criss replied.

"Did you?". "At first it was because she was pregnant but now that they're here I do want to marry Edwina"Criss said. "Well wait untill the babies come home and you get settled with them before you start planning a wedding"JD replied as Criss chuckled. "Maybe we should elope they are a lot of chapels around here "Criss thought. "And have mom rip you a new one for doing that". "Well let's go see my kids before visiting hours end"Criss remarked. They both got up and left.
