CH. 103 Things are going to change because destiny feels like it

Criss was in shock. Hearing that voice again, hearing her voice made him drop the phone to the floor. "Woah!" JD replied started by the scandalous noise the phone just had made. "What happen Criss...why did you drop the phone?" Costa asked as he bend down to pick up the broken phone that was laying on the floor. Criss finally snapped out. "F I cant believe I just did that!" he yelled as he quickly bend down and took the phone away from Costa. "Hello?! Hello?!" he said repeatedly. "Dude, the phone is broken" JD said. Criss couldn't believe it, many years had passed since he last new about Liliana and now that he had a hold of her, he messed it up by dropping the phone to the floor. "I can't believe it! f!! this can't be happening to me! why did I just do that! you're so stupid Criss!!" Criss said to himself over and over again.

"Ok? I don't get it. it was just an accident. why are you acting like this?" JD said confused as he looked at Costa who was just looking at Criss' sudden behavior. "It was Liliana! it was Liliana who called!!" Criss yelled desperate. "What??!!" both JD and Costa asked surprised. "She probably thought that I hang up on her!" Criss said concerned. "Criss calmed down. Give it sometime, she probably though that the line went down. She probably would try to call in a few minutes" Costa said trying to reassure his brother who was already walking back and forth like he were some kind of beast inside of a cage. "I need to track that call! I need to know were she is" Criss replied as he continued to try and fix the phone. "Criss give it up. The phone is long gone" Costa said and quickly took the phone away from Criss and threw it on the trash can. "I need to call the phone company. I need them to send me the call records. I need to know from where Liliana called me!" Criss said and quickly took out his cellphone and dial the phone company as he walked out of the office.

****The next morning in Bacelona, Spain****

Liliana woke up to the sound of her cell phone ringing. Her eyes quickly adjusted to the light and saw that it was 8:50 am. She rapidly grabbed her phone and answered. "Hello!" she said in a still sleepy voice. "Good morning gorgeous! I can see I woke someone up" David said on the other side of the line. "Good morning babe!...I'm sorry I didn't replied to you last night but I felt asleep" she said as she sat on her bed. "No worries, darling" David replied. They continued to talk for a few more minutes until they hang up. As Liliana was putting her cellphone back on the night stand she heard her room door open. She quickly glanced at the door and saw little Christopher standing there. "Hey sweetheart!" Liliana said with a smile. "Good morning mommy!" Chris said as he closed the door and walked in. He hugged her mom and sat on the bed next to her. "What's going on baby?" Liliana said as she put her arm around her son. "Mom I been thinking" he said in a low voice. "yeah?" liliana replied gently. "Well I been thinking and well, I...want to...meet my dad" he said a bit shyly. Liliana wasn't shocked she knew sooner or later this was going to come. She run her fingers through her hair and sighed. "ok..if that's what you want!" she said confident. "you're gonna let me see him?" Chris said surprised. "Of course, after all he's your father and you have all the right to meet him" she said with a concerned smile. "Thank you mom!" Chris said happily.


****back in las vegas, nevada****

Dimi was playing in her computer in the living room when she hear a beeping sound. She looked to her right and saw that a fax was just arriving. She got up to go see. "Uncle Criss, you got a fax from the phone company!" she yelled as she took a look at the paper. "in coming calls from the las 24 hours" Dimi read the title silently. She began to skim trough the roster of calls. One particular call cough her attention. "Oh my gosh!" she whisper is awe. "Dimi! what are you doing?" Criss said as he entered the living room. "Umm nothing I was just getting the fax for you!" she said and gave the paper to her uncle. "Thank you sweetie" he said and saw Dimi leave the living room. "She's in Spain!" Criss said surprised! "I found you Lily! I found you!" he said.
