A storm rolled into Nevada bringing winds so wild that half of Freemont Street was out because of down power lines. People had reported hail the size of golf balls which made Criss so panicky he put all his cars and motorcycles that he had displayed outside into The Luxor's parking garage so they wouldn't get damaged. In The Luxor Felix made sure that the generates were working just incase the storm knocked out power. In the production office Criss was talking to JD. "I've never seen a storm like this before"Criss replied. "Well Costa went to the warehouse to make sure everything was buckled down and if the roof was going to hold"JD remarked. "You guys won't believe this someone just reporting seeing a funnel cloud near Reno"Doug said. "Great a tornado in Nevada what's next a earthquake in New York"Criss badly joked. "I'm going to tell Costa to stay at the warehouse I don't want him driving in this mess"JD suggested. "Good idea I'll tell the rest of the crew to stay here if we have to they can bunk in my suite"Criss said.

His crew and his family were his number one concern considering it was the mother of all storms out there. "Criss you should bring Hammie down here he's probably freaking out with all the lightning and Thunder"Doug stated. "Good idea" Criss remarked and left the production office. At the warehouse Costa was checking everything and making sure everything was in its place when his phone rang. "Hello"he said. "Costa it's JD I want you to stay at the warehouse this storm is getting worse and I don't want you driving in this mess". "All right" and Costa hung up. Upstairs Criss turned on the weather to see what was going on.

We have winds coming from the south gusting at over fifty miles an hour. The airports in Nevada have been closed down flights have been cancelled. People have reported hail from the size of golf balls to grapefruits, People have also reported seeing funnel clouds near Reno, and Bolder City. I urge people to stay in doors and stay off the roads the rain is coming down in sheets and it's impossible to see the road. Make sure you have flashlights people are also reporting down power lines too-

Criss turned off the TV as Hammie looked at Criss. "Just like she said Hammie it's the mother of all storms come on let's go downstairs". Just as Criss grabbed Hammie one of the windows in his suite exploded. Criss hit the ground as glass sprayed him. Downstairs Felix was looking for Criss but found JD instead. "JD where's Criss?"Felix inquired. "He went upstairs to get Hammie what's wrong"he asked. "The Palms just called they lost power and because of the wind and hail some of the rooms are damaged so they're wondering if we can take some of their guests Iwas thinking of using Criss's theater as a shelter"Felix suggested "Go ahead I'll have Ayala and Doug help you". "All right thanks JD".

Upstairs in Criss room Criss got knocked out and the feeling of Hammie's tongue licking him woke him up. He got up slowly as he felt like the room was spinning. "What happened?"he asked himself as he looked around. He saw a hail a size of a small grapefruit came through the window shattering it. Criss put his hand against the wall as Hammie just looked at him with worry in his eyes. "Meow"Hammie said. "It's all right Hammie"Criss remarked. When Criss removed his hand he saw his hand left a bloody print. Then the dizziness came back and Criss dropped to his knees. Criss didn't know what was going on with him until he looked to his side and saw his shirt was covered in blood. He lifted his shirt and saw a huge piece of glass was embedded into his side and bleeding heavily. Criss grabbed a towel he left on the back on his chair from this morning shower and put it on the wound to stop the bleeding. Downstairs JD was working with the people of the Palms that we're bringing people over. Where is Christopher I could use his helpJD thought. "JD!!"A voice called out. Running over is Greg a pit boss from The Luxor and a good friend to JD. "What's wrong Greg?"he asked.

"The pit boss across the street just called there's a window broken on the top of The Luxor it's Criss's room". JD's heart fell right into his stomach as he wondered if Criss was all right. "Have Doug and George go upstairs and see if Criss is all right"JD asked "All right" and left. "Dad please let Criss be all right". At the warehouse Costa was watching the news as they showed damaged from a tornado that hit Bolder City. "Wow!!". All of a sudden a banging came to the door. Costa went to the door and standing there was a nine year old girl. "Please I need some help my brother is hurt!!"she said shaking in the rain. Costa saw she was bleeding and had scrapes on her arms and face. Costa brought the little girl in. "I'm going to get a first aid kit and you can show me where your brother is". Costa always kept a first aid kit around the warehouse since Criss's ill fated nail gun catch. He grabbed his coat and followed the little girl. Back at The Luxor JD was grabbing a first aid kit that he kept in the production office when his wife walked in. "Lynn what are you doing here?"he asked giving her a hug.

"They evacuated everyone on our block. I'm so thankful that Dimi visiting your mother" she stated. Then Greg came in. "JD we've got a problem Doug and George just found Criss in his room with a piece of glass in his side. He's lost a lot of blood". "Oh my god"JD stated. "JD I'll call my friend at LV general tell them to send some nurses and supplies to The Luxor"Lynn said. "Thanks Lynn" and JD went to see Criss.

At LV General they were taking care of people. "Jennifer hand me a two by four and call surgery this guys is going to bleed to death". "All right"she said and called surgery. "Jennifer you should of stayed home you look like your about to explode"the doctor said. Jennifer was pregnant with her first child She was about to start her maternity leave when the storm hit. She couldn't stay home so she came and helped. "Dr. Samuel I got a Lynn Sarantakos on the phone she says that she needs help her brother in law is hurt and losing blood fast" a nurse replied. He took the call. "Lynn what's going on?". "A window exploded and Criss got a piece of glass in his side. They haven't taken the glass out and I told them not to but he's out cold and his pulse is getting weak". "What's your brother's blood type?"he asked. "It's rare AB double negative but I think Criss had some blood put away so if he got hurt and needed a transfusion they would have it"she remarked as a nurse gave him a list of rare blood types. "Here it is Christopher Nicholas Sarantakos AKA Criss Angel I'll have one of the nurses bring it over with some supplies" and hung up.

"What's going on Doctor?"Jennifer asked coming over. "My friend Lynn's brother in law got hit with a piece of glass and he's lost a lot of blood I'm going down there with some nurses to help out". "I'll come too". "Jennifer I don't want you going in your condition". "Just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean I can't do my job now I'm going!"she remarked with force and went to get some supplies. Back at warehouse Costa found the little girl's brother he was pretty banged up but he was going to be all right. Costa took both of them to the warehouse. "Thank you sir"she said as Costa put the teenager on the couch in Criss's office. "No problem". "What happened?"the boy asked waking up. "It looks like your car flipped over but you're safe now we're going to ride the storm out here and when it's done I'll take both of you to the hospital"Costa stated. "My leg"the boy said. Costa knew just by the way his leg looked it was broken. "I'm going to get some wood and splint your leg" Costa replied as he took off his soaked coat. Costa was happy that he took a course in first aid a few years back. He came back in and splinted the teenager's leg.

"Just relax guys you're save here" as he put a blanket over the boy and the little girl. At the Luxor Criss's theater turned into a shelter with people that need emergency help were staying including Criss. JD sat with his brothers as Criss was still out cold and getting weaker by the minute. "JD don't worry the supplies and the blood for Criss is going to be here"Lynn assured him. "I'm scared Lynn I've seen Criss do some pretty stupid and dangerous stuff which I thought were going to kill him I never thought that he's died like this"JD said as tears fell down his face. Lynn gave her husband a hug as Doug came in. "JD Felix needs to talk to you for a minute". "Go I'll stay with Criss"she stated and JD went with Doug.

"Yea what's up Felix?". "I was just wondering how Criss is?". "He's still unconscious and his pulse is getting weaker"JD said as he wiped tears from his face. "I hope Criss doesn't mind that I'm using the production office as a play room for some of children and babies that aren't injuried"Felix stated. "I think Criss would get a kick out of that"Doug remarked. The door opened and a very pregnant nurse came in with a cooler. "Someone ordered a pint of AB double negative blood"she called out. JD walked over to her and hugged her as Lynn came over. "Jennifer how nice to see you pardon my husband you may of just saved his brother," as she peeled JD off of her. "Wow you look like you're ready to explode". "Yea my doctor said if this kid doesn't come by Friday he's inducing me now show me who needs the blood" and Lynn showed her the way. The storm got worse as time went on but thankfully Criss was getting a little better but they needed to take the glass out to close the wound but the doctor was nervous considering he didn't know if the glass was corking a bleeder or there was more glass in the wound. "I should take Criss back to the hospital to get a MRI done". "Harry if you do you could injury yourself or kill Criss "Lynn suggested.

Then JD came over. "I think Criss has a fever he's hot to the touch"JD remarked. The doctor went over to Criss and looked at his wound and saw that infection was starting. "I got no choice we're going to have to take out the glass or Criss is going to die of infection. Do you have some place that has a lot of room and private?". "Criss's dressing room we can do the surgery in there" JD replied. "I'll go get it ready" and Lynn left. When Lynn got to the back she saw Jennifer leaning against the wall. "Jennifer you all right?". "M-y- water broke I'm having contractions twenty minutes apart"she replied. "I swear kids pick the worst times to come out,"Lynn said as she helped Jennifer to Criss's dressing room. "I'm going to be right back just keep doing what you're doing and don't push". Lynn went over and grabbed some towels as JD came over. "Lynn have you seen Jennifer Dr. Samual is going to need her help". "We've got a bigger problem JD Jennifer's in labor I put her in Criss's dressing room"she replied. "Great now we have to deal with a birth of a baby and taking that piece of glass out of my brother what else can happen?".

"Thanks Lynn how's Jennifer doing?". "Wishing she was in a hospital she didn't want a natural child birth" Lynn said giggling a little. "Reminding you of when Dimitra came to our lives?"JD inquired. "I was just happy you got me to the hospital before Dimi was born at the house"Lynn replied. "I swear when you gave my dad Dimi to hold it just seem like the cancer in him was no more"JD stated. "Hey Lynn you better get back here she's dying to get this kid out!!". "I'll see you in a bit and don't worry about Costa and Criss they both have their father's will to survive"Lynn assured him and left. "JD". JD turned around and saw the doctor. "Mind helping me take Criss to the back of the theater?"he asked. "Sure" as he wiped the tears from his face. "Let me get the IV". As the doctor got the IV Criss started to regain concussions. "What's going on?"he asked. "Criss you've got a piece of glass embedded in your side the doctor is taking you to another room to take it out before the infection kills you"JD remarked.

"I saw dad he told me he's happy at what I became" Criss said. Great he's delirious JD thought as he wiped Criss's face. "Let's go just keep still Criss we'll get that piece of glass out"the doctor said as they lifted the stretcher and took Criss to the back of the theater. After the tornado hit the warehouse Costa told the kids to stay where they were and he'd be right back. Costa opened the door and saw tree limbs in the office. The computers were either destroyed or all over the floor. When Costa got to the warehouse part he saw half of the roof had caved in. "Criss always wanted a sky light in the warehouse" Costa muttered. Costa also saw some of Criss's magic props like scarecrow were damaged. Then a knock came to the door. "Las Vegas emergency personal anyone in there" a voice called out. "Yes and I have two kids one that need medical attention!"Costa yelled.

Back at The Luxor JD was helping doctor Samual with Criss. To make sure Criss didn't feel any pain the doctor had brought some medicine to numb the sit and JD stood by just in case Criss's breathing got shallow. “Let’s get this going hand me a two by four JD". JD handed it to him as the doctor got a good grip on the glass. Dad if you can hear please don't let Criss die JD prayed. The doctor took out the glass and bit of blood came out but not much to cause worry. "That's good not a lot of blood I'm just going to look and see if there's any more glass in there than I'll close this wound up. How's Criss doing?"Dr Samual asked. "Better his pulse is getting stronger" JD replied. Then they heard a baby cry. "Looks like Jennifer's baby is here"the doctor stated as JD smiled. In Criss's dressing room Jennifer gave birth to a baby boy. "Here you go Jennifer"Lynn said giving her the baby. Tears fell down her face as she looked at her son.

Criss's surgery went well and he was resting comfortably Jennifer's nine pound six ounce baby boy was perfect and Jennifer couldn't be happier. In a bar JD and Lynn were having something to eat but JD wasn't hungry. "Come on JD you have to eat something"she stated. "I'm just too worried about Costa I don't know if he's all right"JD said. "Costa is going to be all right he's a volunteer EMT he knows what to do"Lynn replied. Then Felix walked over. "JD I just got a call from a shelter they've got Costa there". "Is he all right?"JD asked. "Yea just a broken arm and a cut. He's also a hero Costa saved two kids"Felix replied. "Thanks Felix" Lynn said and he left. JD breathed a sigh of relief. Thanks for answering my prayers dad JD thought as Lynn gave him a hug. After JD and Lynn had something to eat JD went to get Costa while Lynn went to check on Criss.

When she came in Criss was up and walking around. "Christopher what are you doing up you had surgery a few minutes ago". "I started to get a cramp in my calf I see they turned my theater into a shelter"he remarked with a smile on his face. "Well why don't we take a walk outside and let some of these people sleep" and they went to the atrium. They walked around taking break when Criss's side started to throb when they got back JD and Costa were coming in. "Nice cast Costa how did you break your arm?"Criss inquired. "Honestly I don't know I broke it when I was being looked at the nurse took an x-ray of my arm and found a hair line facture they were surprise I wasn't in pain"Costa replied. "How you feeling Criss?"JD inquired. "Pretty good considering I had a chunk of glass in my side"he stated sitting down. "A couple of more inches you would of had it in your lung"JD said. "So Costa is the warehouse still standing?" Lynn asked.

This caught Criss's attention. "Why wouldn't the warehouse be standing?". "It was hit by a tornado. The warehouse is still standing but-". "But what?"Criss inquired standing up. "Well you know how you always wanted a sky light in the warehouse you've got one now"Costa replied as JD tried not to laugh. "What about my magic stuff?"Criss asked. "Scarecrow is going to need some work but after they remove the tree we'll get a better idea"Costa remarked. "I hope my insurance covers this"Criss muttered. "Put it under acts of god because I don't think a tornado has ever hit Nevada" Lynn stated. All of a sudden the guys and Lynn started to laugh.
