EVERSINCE I WAS OLD ENOUGH TO REMEMBER I WOULD GO OUTSIDE AND WISH ON A STAR SOMETIME THEY WOULD COME TRUE AND SOMETIMES THEY WOULDN'T BUT THERE'S ONE WISH I KEEP WISHING FOR AND I HOPE THAT IT WILL COME TRUE
"Antonia!!!"My father yelled. I walked in and went over to my father. "Yes daddy"I replied. "Your Aunt Carol needs your help in the store go help her"he replied. I've worked in the family bakery since I was fifteen I've seen my father work in the front as a clerk like I am to running the place after my grandfather passed away. My father is known as a world famous baker he's done cakes for celebrities, for people in offices, and some special occiasion like an opening of a casino to a movie theater, but for me I wanted to do somehing diffeent with my life instead of being a baker or god forbid a baker's wife. "Antonia!!!". I sighed and went to the back. "Yea dad"I replied. "Help your Uncle Johnny with the cookies we're running low" he stated as he went upstairs to finish some cakes. As I putting on an apron my uncle notice the look I had. "All right Tony what's wrong?"he asked. "I'm just so bored here. Don't get me wrong I love working here but I want to go somewhere than New Jersery"I stated a I put some butter cookies in the oven.
"Why don't you go to New York on a day trip?". I smiled. "Thanks Uncle Johnny"I replied. That night as we were closing up I was throwing some trash out and looked up. There in the sky was a lonely star shining bright so I looked up at it and closed my eyes. STAR LIGHT STAR BRIGHT FIRST STAR THAT SHINES BRIGHT IN THE SKY. I WISH I COULD FIND THE MAN OF MY DREAMS. Then my father came out. "Come on Antonia I'd like to get home before two in the morning"he called out. ALSO CAN YOU MAKE MY FATHER LOSE HIS VOICE as I went in.
