Chapter 6:
Kyrii's P.O.V.
We walked into some awful restaurant. Not awful as in dirty but awful as in extremely elegant and I did not fit in. I looked at Criss with a 'you've got to be kidding me' look but he just squeezed my shoulder and led me along.
We got seated at a booth towards the back of the room. The waiter gave us our menus is what seemed like half a second but I guess that's the kind of service you get when your famous. I took a quick scan over the menu and gawked at the prices. 12.95 for some 'italian' pizza.
"Criss, i'm not eating here."
"Will you relax, it's on me."
"Just because you have money doesn't mean you need to spend it all."
I seethed. He just smirked and rolled his eyes. The waitress came back asking if we are ready.
"Two glasses of wine and the shrimp special please."
I reached over the table and pulled his arm hair.
"OW!" His arm flung back.
"What the heck?"
"That, was, for, ordering, for me."
I said between gasp of laughter. Soon we were both cracking up laughing and we had the whole room staring at us.
Criss' P.O.V.
After eating we headed back to the flamingo club to dance our supper away. Based on the way she was dressed I knew they wouldn't let her in so I grabbed her hand and ushered her in.
The music was blaring and she was just standing there.
"Dance?"
"I'm not going to embarrass you more then I am."
"Kryii.."
"Criss, look at me!"
"I am! and your fine, I wouldn't ever do anything to purposely hurt you."
"Your not hurting me, just yourself."
"I wouldn't do that either."
I could tell this back and forth wasn't going to get anyways so I started making a fool out of myself. I tried doing the worm on the floor, did the moon walk, and then tried doing the tango with her.
After about a half hour she finally loosened up and a slow song came on. I looked at her questionably and she nodded her head yes. I wrapped my arms around her, lightly pressing my hands to her back.
We swayed back and forth staring into each others eyes. She nuzzled her head into my neck and I slowly lifted her chin back up to facing me and leaned in. We were so close to kissing I could see the shimmer of lip gloss.
But she jerked away suddenly and ran. And when I mean she ran, she ran. She was shoving people left and right, and I was struggling to keep up with her. I followed her out to the car and when I put my arm on her a tear slid down her cheek.
