It's two in the morning and Criss has just gotten home from doing Believe and two encores. He felt like a zombie and was ready to just go up to his room to sleep before getting up for another exhausting show. ANOTHER MONTH AND THAN IT'S TIME TO GO TO MEXICO Criss thought. After taking a shower and getting on his pajamas he sat on the side of his bed but before he went into a state of unconsciousness he made sure the alarm is set for tomorrow. Criss pulled the blanket over him, shut off his light and closed his eyes. As Criss slept the wind started to pick up outside it got so bad that a few poles fell down knocking out powers to homes including Criss's.

The sound of his cell phone woke him up from his slumber. "Hello"he said sleepy. "Christopher where are you?". "I'm at my house you woke me up" Criss remarked not realizing what was going on. "You're late and Felix isn't happy". Criss wondered if he had set his alarm right so he looked at his clock to see it was blinking 12:00. "Oh :mad: I must of lost power last night. Tell Felix I'm on my way"Criss replied and hung up

After setting a speed record for getting dressed Criss got into his car and drove off. He couldn't believe he was an hour late for this meeting with Felix and Criss was the one who set it up. He was about a hour away when the car stalled. "What the :mad:"Criss stated. Criss tried and tried to get the car started but nothing happened. Criss screamed the 'F' word and got out. He kicked the rims of the tire and got out his phone to call a tow truck. Felix is going to either fire me or kill me Criss thought. Outside at The Luxor Luke was waiting for Criss. "All right when he comes I'll tell him" and hung up as a taxi pulled up.

The taxi door opened and Criss got out. As he went to pay for the cab Criss realized he left his wallet at home on the kitchen table. "Luke can you pay him I'll pay you back"Criss askeed embrassed. Luke paid for the cab and they went in. "Having one of those days"he asked. "You could say that Felix must be mad as hell right now at me I just wasted his time and I was the one who set this up"Criss remarked. "Well you're going to have to reschedule with him and you're right he isn't happy with you"Luke replied as they walked into the office. "Oversleep Criss?"JD asked. "Shut up please I'm not in the mood for this"Criss stated sitting down. He took off his glasses and everyone's mouth dropped. "What?"he asked annoyed. JD grabbed a mirror and showed Criss he had a rash around his eyes.

Can This day get any worse as Criss looked at the rash around his face. "Do you think we should get a doctor just to make sure that is a rash and not something else?"Luke suggested. "Guys let's not go nuts I probably just had an allergic reaction to some concealor the make-up artist use for Believe"Criss remarked putting on his glasses. "Speaking of Believe didn't you decide to do a Monday Believe so you can spend the day with mom on Friday?" JD inquired. ":mad:" Criss muttered. He felt like slamming his head on his desk. "What do you want to do?"Luke asked. "I don't know really". A knock came to the door and saw it was Felix. "Hey Felix" Criss stated. "Can I talk to Criss alone?". "We'll see you in Believe"JD said and everyone left.

Felix sat down as Criss looked at him. "Felix I'm so sorry about today". "What in the world happened?". "It seems my house lost power and my alarm clock shut down with the power outage"Criss replied. "Criss how can I take you seriously when you have your sun glasses on". "You don't want to see what I have on my face right now"Criss replied. "Christopher take thenm off now" Felix stated so Criss took off his glasses and Felix's mouth nearly dropped to the floor. "Oh my god Christopher what happened?". "It's probably an allergic reaction to some concealer the make up artist used on me last night" itch it. "Criss you need to go to the doctor-". "Felix I'm fine don't worry"Criss replied putting back on the glasses. "All right but if that rash spreads I want you to go see a doctor"Felix stated. "All right Felix" shaking hands.

When Criss got to Believe everyone was waiting. "Here Criss"Costa remarked giving him some coffee. "Thanks" taking a drink of it. After a few minutes of going over some stuff for the day Mateo came in and saw Criss drinking the coffee. He ran up to Criss and smacked the coffee out of his hand. "MATEO what the hell!"Criss stated ready to ring his neck. "I'm sorry but the lady at the coffee shop mixed up the coffee they gave Costa mine instead of this one"he remarked. "Did yours have milk or any milk product in it?"JD asked. "Milk don't tell me you allready drank some of it". "Thanks for trying Mateo" Criss replied sitting down. "I don't understand"someone said. "Criss is lactose intolerant milk products don't agree with Criss's system very well"JD stated.

"Excuse me" and Criss went to the back. "Why don't you guys go see how he is?"Luke suggested. JD and Costa went to the back and knocked on Criss's dressing room. "I'm busy"he called out. "Are you all right Criss?"JD asked. "Yea just give some time"he replied. "All right" and left. Around noon Sandra came by and saw Criss in his office alone. "Hey baby". "Hey"he remarked in a somber tone. "What's the matter?"she asked sitting next to him. "I'm having an extremely bad day and it doesn't seem to be letting up on me"Criss said. "What happened?"she inquired. "Let's see I overslept because the house lost power, my boss is ticked at me because I set up a meeting which I didn't show up for, my car breaks down,so I had to get a cab to get me to The Luxor than when I go to pay him I realize in my hast I left my wallet on the table at home. To make the day really fun I develop a rash to some concealor or make-up they used on my face and the people at the coffee house give me Mateo's coffee which had milk in it".

"You all right now?"she inquired. "Yea for right now". "Do you want to get a sandwich or something?"she inquired. "Why don't we maybe having you around will turn my luck around"Criss replied and gave her a kiss.

Back at the office JD was looking over some stuff as Criss came in and sat down. "How was lunch with Sandra?". "Good but I think I eat too much my stomach feels like it's about to explode"Criss replied. "I got a call from Hank from the garage you need a new starter and few other things". "What do you mean a few other things"Criss replied. "An oil change, your raditor has a small crack in it and front end alginment". After heariing that Criss felt ready to bang his head on his desk. "You have an interview in ten minutes". Criss got up and went to change his clothes. While Criss did the interview Costa was working in Believe. "I heard Criss is having a bad day"Mateo stated coming over. "Yea but I think it's turning around for hiim".

"I don't think so"Luke remarked coming over. "What happened now?" Costa stated. "You how Criss had that interview well it seems lunch wasn't sitting too well in Criss". "So what did he do?". "He threw up infront of the woman"Luke said. "Oh my god are you serious?"Costa inquired. "JD just brought him home to change he is soooooooooo embrassed"Luke stated. "Anybody who throws up infront of someone would be"Mateo stated. "I'm just glad it didn't happen while he was doing Believe"Costa added. "That would of sent Criss into hiding if that happened"Luke said. Back at the house while Criss showered JD talked to Sandra. "That's weird why I didn't get sick but Criss did"she wondered. "Did you and Criss have different meals for lunch". "No we had the same thing we even shared from the same plate this makes no sense what so ever"Sandra replied. ":mad:!!"Criss screamed so Sandra and JD came up to find Criss on the bed.

"What's wrong Criss?". "My pants just :mad: ripped and I stubbed my :mad: toe. God why is this happening to me"Criss remarked. "It's just a bad day Criss we get them from time to time"JD stated. "But I've never had this worse of a bad day in my life. I don't even want to know what's going to happen tonight"Criss said. "Don't think that way Christopher just think postive that it's going to get better"Sandra stated giving Criss a kiss.

Criss felt like hiding under a rock or something untill midnight hit but as his father taught him he can't run away from stuff. Where's a four leaf clover when I need it he thought driving back with JD. Then the phone rang and Criss picked it up. "Hello". "Christopher how nice to hear your voice". JD knew just by the smile on Criss's face it was their mother. "Hey mom how's New York treating you". "Pretty good it's chilly today but nothing I can't handle" she stated. "So what I help you with?"he asked. "I heard from Costa what's going on today with you". "Believe me mom I'm ready to go into hiding if anything else goes bad"Criss suggested.

"Don't worry Christopher everything happens for a reason so don't worry" she remarked. "All right mom I love you and I'll see you soon"Criss replied. "Give JD and Costa my love and I'll call you later" and hung up. "How's mom doing?". "Good just talking to her made me feel better"Criss remarked smiling. "That's good"JD said. As they stopped at a red light JD noticed a car on the other side driving fast and it didn't look like it was going to stop. The car came closer and rammed right into another car. Criss grabbed his phone and dialed 911 as JD got out to check on the people. The person who caused the accident got out. Criss got out and walked over to him. Criss could smell the booze on him. "Did I cause this?"he asked.

"Yea and you're drunk"Criss said. An off duty cop came over to Criss and asked what was going on. "This drunk caused this accident"Criss replied. "No I didn't you did"The drunk guy stated slurring a few words. "Christopher I need some help!!"JD called out. "I'll stay with this idiot"the officer remarked and Criss went over to his brother. Just by looking at the car he could smell gas and see it pouring out underneath. "GET ME OUT"The lady screamed as she tried to open the door. "We got to get her out before something ignites the gas"JD said. "Cover your face"Criss said so the lady did. Criss used his karate abilites and broke the window. JD got the woman out and brought her to the side of the road. "Thank you" she repeated over and over again. "No problem"Criss remarked.

"Um Criss you're bleeding". Criss looked at his arm and saw the glass from the window cut him. Bad day strike again. At The Luxor Costa and Luke were watching the news at a bar. "I wonder if Criss took the rest of the day off"Costa wondered. "With the day he's having I would go hide and never come out untill tomorrow"Luke replied. "That's not my brother Luke Criss never runs away from anything"Costa stated. JD and Criss walk in and walked over to Costa and Luke. "I hope you guys aren't drinking on the job"Criss stated. "Nope". Then Luke noticed Criss's arm was wrapped up. "What happened to you Sandra get a little rough in the bedroom?" Luke joked as Costa chuckled. "Long story but I have to go do a run through of Believe" and Criss walked away. "JD what happened?"Costa asked. JD explained to them what had happened and what Criss did. "Well at least a little good luck hit him"Costa remarked.

In Believe Criss was working on some illusions that weren't working out very well. Criss muttering explivties sat in one of the chairs in the audience. Criss felt like he walked under a ladder or a black cat crossed his path or anything that would help him explain this bad day he's having. "Excuse me"a voice called out. Criss turned around and saw a girl about seven standing at the door. "Sorry to brother you Mr. Angel but I'm kind of lost in this place"she said. Criss invited her down she was a little nervous but went in anyway. "It's no problem I've gotten lost a few times myself in this place. Please sit down". The girl sit down as Criss jumped on the stage not realizing his left shoe untied Criss tripped landing on his face.

The girl tried not to laugh asking Criss if he was all right. "Yea just having a bad day"he replied tieing his shoe. "I hate those but my father always said that everyone has a bad day but the next day is better"she said. "I can't wait for that"Criss said standing up dusting off his pants. The girl got up and took a necklace off. "Here this has always brought me luck". Criss saw it was a small silver horseshoe with a name on it. "Lucky"he stated. "My grandfather use to breed race horses and one of his horses was a runt but he cared for it and trained it. When he was old enough to race my grandfather entered him under that name. Everyone including the better put Lucky as a long shot. When that race started Lucky was a lightning bolt and he won the race".

"That must of made some people surprised"Criss replied looking at the necklace. "So just keep it near you and maybe your bad day will turn into a good day"she remarked with a smile. Criss got down and gave her a hug as a security guy came in. "There you are Felicity your parents are worried about you". "Sorry I got lost but Mr. Angel let me come in here"she stated walking over to him. "Hope she wasn't a brother to you" The security guy remarked. "No"he replied with a smile. "Bye Criss hope you finally have that good day you need" she stated and left.

After talking to Felicity Criss felt better. Who knew a seven year old would be that thoughtful Criss thought. He got back to the office and saw JD talking to Felix. "Hey guys what's going on?"he asked. "JD was just telling me what happened with you guys saving a woman". "I'm just glad that :mad: drunk driver was arrested"Criss replied. "I talked to the officer that's the guy's sixth DUI and the third time he's caused an accident". Someone needs rehab Criss thought. "I always heard what happened with that interview today". "Please that was the most embrassing moment of my life"Criss remarked trying to forget that. "I found out something for you Christopher. I talked to Sandra about the meal you ate do you know what crema y leche means in spanish?"Felix inquired.

"No what does it mean?"JD said. "Cream and milk". "That explains why you got sick and Sandra didn't. She doesn't have the intolrance to milk products yours does"JD stated. "That explains why I puked"Criss replied. "And I talked to the make-up artist about that rash around your eyes. She explained to me it's a new make-up she was using, but a lot of the people she used it on were complaining of rashes, so she's not going to be using it again"Felix added. Thank god "Well at least your luck is turning around"JD stated. "Well that's good"

After talking with Felix Criss went to his office to look over a few things. When he sat down Criss took the necklace the little girl had giving him. Maybe this thing is lucky he thought looking at it. JD came in as Criss put the necklace back in his pocket. "So what are you going to do untill Believe?". "I'm not sure maybe go home and spend some time with Sandra". Costa came in with a upset look on him. "What's wrong who died?". "Noway maybe Criss's career" Costa replied. "What do you mean by that?"Criss asked. "A friend of mine went on You Tube and he typed in Criss Angel bloopers and for some reason you puking your guts out on that lady today has been uploaded"he remarked. Costa went on his computer and went to you tube.

When he found it Criss couldn't believe it. "Nice aim Criss right on her shoes"JD said. "Oh my god two hundred and fifty people have watched this!,"Criss exclaimed. "I'm calling Dave this should be taking off immediately". When Criss got home Sandra was outside talking to someone. "Simon this is amazing"she remarked as Criss listened in. "Come on Sandy you know I'm god at this. How about tomorrow we finish this up here". "Noway Simon if Criss found out what I'm doing he'd freak out so we have to do it somewhere else"she replied. "All right tomorrow at ten at my loft". Criss hid as the guy left. Oh my god Sandra's cheating on me

Criss snuck into his office as Sandra came in. Sandra went to the door and saw Criss's car in the drive way. "Christopher"she called out. "Yea"Criss said coming out of the office. "How long have you been here?". "A few minutes. I heard you talking to someone outside"Criss remarked. "Oh yea that's Simon a friend of mine he's a photographer. When I showed him pictures of the garden he asked if he could take some I hope you don't mind". "No"Criss replied. "I'm going to take a shower and meet some of my friend for drinks"Sandra stated and went upstairs. Criss felt like spitting nails. He couldn't believe Sandra just lied to him. When Criss came back for Believe he sat in his room when a knock came to the door.

"Come in" sitting up. "What's up you seem down in the dumps. Don't tell me it's about that video You Tube took it off before Dave could talk to them" JD stated sitting next to him. "I think Sandra's cheating on me with a guy named Simon"Criss replied. "Wait a minute Christopher why would you think that?'. "I heard her say If Criss found out what's I'm doing he'd freak, so we have to finish this somewhere else" Criss said. "Criss tonight after Believe sit down and talk to Sandra. Don't go nuts all right". "All right"he stated and gave his brother a hug. A knock came to the door so JD got up and it was Mateo. "Ready Mindfreak?". "Let's go" and they left.

Back at the house Sandra was looking at some pictures her friend Simon did. "Simon these are awesome. The people at the agency will flip over this" she remarked. "Why do you think Criss will freak out that a manager from a modeling agency wants probbably hire you". "I don't know I kept seeing in my head Criss freaking out that I'm modeling"she said. "Well tell me how it goes and we'll talk more". After she hung up her cell went off and saw it was JD. "Hey JD what's up?". "I need you to come down to the hospital"he stated. "Why is Criss all right?". "Not really he lost his balance and fell from the top of Enigma. He broke his arm and has a bad concussion so they're going to keep him here". "I'll bring some stuff for him too" Sandra replied and hung up. At the hospital Criss was in his room while JD sat with him.

"God I feel like an idiot"Criss replied. "Just be thankful if you didn't fall the way you did. You could off broking your neck or worse"JD stated. "Yea I landed putting all my weight on my arm and having my head bounce off the ground"Criss remarked. "Well at least you didn't break your leg". Criss saw Sandra standing there with an overnight bag. "I'm going to give Felix a call" and JD left. "I brought you some stuff"she said. "Thanks can you sit down for a minute I need to talk to you". Sandra sat down. "What's wrong Criss?". "I heard you talking with that guy Simon and-". "I wanted to surprise you with this"she said. "About what?"Criss asked. "You know how I've been modeling the clothes on your website well an agent saw them and asked if I wanted a job modeling. Simon was taking pictures of me in the garden for my polio,"she replied. Criss turned five shades of red. "What did you think was going on?". "Nothing but I'm glad you're becoming a model"he said smiling.

That night Criss was laying bed trying to sleep but the hospital bed was uncomfortable. Criss got up and looked out at the window. He was happy to see the moon and the dark of night because his bad day ended up being the worse day ever. "Mr. Angel what are you doing up?"A nurse inquired. "Can't sleep"he said with a smile. "That might be a good thing considering the concussion you got"she said. Criss rubbed the back of his head. "Don't remind me I can still feel the knot the fall gave me"he stated. "Well try to get some sleep all right" and the nurse left. When morning came Criss woke up feeling better that yesterday was behind him. Today is a new day and a better one Criss thought as he went to the men's room.

When he came back in a volunteer was bringing him in some breakfast. "Thank you" he replied. "No problem Criss all your fans are happy you're all right considering what happened last night" she remarked. "I'm just happy I didn't die". "I know I shouldn't ask this but we're having a little party downstairs for a little girl because it's her birthday do you mind just coming down. She loves your magic"the volunteer asked politely. "I'll see if I get the doctor to let me go down"he said with a smile. "Thanks" and the girl left as JD came in. "How you feeling?". "Better than yesterday" he admitted sitting down to eat. "I have some good news the reporter you threw up on her boss called us and apologized for that video going up on you tube. He fired the guy who putted up and told us if we want to he'll set up another time to do the interview"JD stated. "And I won't eat diary when it comes time" Criss remarked as JD snickered.

"Also mom heard what happened to you and got on the first flight down here". "Let me guess Costa blew the whistle". "No the news did yu made the front page of the Las Vegas Sun," showing him. "And your fans have sent you a lot of get well cards". The doctor came in. "I see you're feeling better" he said. "I do feel better" as the doctor checked Criss out. "Well I checked your x-rays and MRI and you're good to go this afternoon". "Thanks doc you just made my mom's day"Criss replied as JD tried not to laugh

Downstairs a little girl was in one of the play rooms of the pedtric ward drawing when the volunteer came in. "Hey Felicity how you feeling?"she asked. "Upset that I have to spend my birthday in the hospital" with a sad look on her face. "I know but we're going to have a nice little party for you and I have a surprise for you". "If it's a get out of hospital card I'll take it"she said. In the elevator Criss was going down with JD. "Why are we stopping on the children's ward for?"he asked. "One of the volunteers told me a little girl is having her birthday in the hospital so she invited me since the little girl is a fan of mine"Criss told him. "That's nice of you might make that girl's birthday seeing you". When the elevator opened the volunteer who invited Criss walked over. "Hey Criss thanks for doing this. She really blue that she's spending her birthday here". "Why is she in the hospital for?"Criss asked.

"She was with her parents going to dinner when a guy jumped the sidewalk and hit her breaking her legs" the volunteer explained. "And her parents are they all right?"Criss asked. "They're upstairs in the ICU her father was on the table for ten hours and her mother in a drug induce coma because her brain swelled". "What about the driver of the car". "Hit a parked police car and to make his day complete they found out he robbed a jewelary store down the street from the accident. He was also hi on Herion". "Gold medal for idioticy for that guy"JD said as Criss rolled his eyes. "Come on Criss I'll introduce you to Felicity".

As Criss walked to the room he wondered if the girl is the same person he met yesterday. "Felicity I have a surprise for you". She turned around and saw Criss standing there. "I guess you needed your horseshoe than I did"he stated as she smiled. "I guess it didn't work for you either" she replied when she saw Criss's hand in a cast. Criss chuckled as JD and the volunteer watched them. "I heard it's your birthday today"Criss stated. "Yea my parents thought it be fun to go to Las Vegas"she replied as a tears fell down her face. "Hey don't cry your parents are going to be all right"Criss remarked wiping the tears from her face. "What if I lose them like you lose your father?"she asked. "Don't think that way Felicity your family will be all right". "You just have to believe that they will"JD added.

She wiped the tears from her face as she smiled. "Why don't we go back into the play room and have some fun"the volunteer suggested. "If Criss will take me in". "Sure why not"Criss said and they left. When they in all the nurses and some of patients were in there as Felicity was wheeled in. All the kids yelled happy birthday which brought a smile to her face. Criss and JD watched as Felicity blew out her candles. Criss even entertained the kids with some magic which made Felicity day. As everyone eat cake Criss got a marker from the nurse's station and signed Felicity's cast and few others. In turn Felicity signed Criss's cast. "Well I have to go but I have one more trick for you Felicity"Criss said. "What's that Criss?". Criss took a napkin and put it around Felicity's neck. When he took it away the necklace that she gaveCriss is around her neck. "I think you need it more than I do right now"Criss replied.

"Thanks Criss" and she waved good-bye as Criss left. When Criss got home his mom was there sitting with Sandra. "Mom how nice to see you" giving her a hug. "I'm just happy you're all right Christopher". Criss sat down. "What took you so long?"Sandra asked. "A volunteer at the hospital asked Criss to go down to ped's ward to surprise a little girl for her birthday"JD stated. "She even signed my cast"Criss replied showing them. "That's cute"Dimitra stated. "Were her parents there?"Sancdra inquired. "Sort of they got hit by a car that jumped the curb. The parents are in the ICU"JD said. "Poor child". "I do feel bad for her I wish there was something I could do"Criss said.

A week passed and Criss was working on a few things as JD came in. "Hey Criss what are you doing?". "Trying to sign some checks with my left hand since my right one is broking"Criss replied. JD look at one of the checks. "I'd guess get stamp with your signature untill your arm is healed"Costa stated sitting down. "I talked to that volunteer at the hospital. Felicity's parents are going to be all right". "That's great to hear"JD remarked. A knock came to the door and it was Felix. "Hey Felix what are you doing here?"Criss asked. "You have some people here to see you and to tell you that you can start your vacation earlier than scheduled"he replied. "What do you mean?"JD asked as Criss got up. "Do you remember when that water pipe broke in your theater?". "Yea that was a mess"Criss replied. "Well they found some signs of mold and the reason you fell off Engima was because one of the boards underneath the illusion was warped and Engima was slanted".

"I thought it was just me that it felt slanted" Criss said. "Well mom will be surprise when you tell her"JD stated as they all left. Outside near one of the fountains Criss saw Felicity. "Felicity what a nice surprise" giving her a hug. "I wanted to come and see you before I go home"she remarked. "Well that's good we heard that your parents are going to be all right". "We're all going to need physical therapy but I'm happy my parents are going to be all right" she remarked with a smile. An older gentleman walked over to them. "You ready to go Felicity?" the man asked. "Grandpa this is Criss Angel the man I told you about"she stated as Criss shook her hands. "My grandaughter told me that you were at her birthday party". "One of the volunteers invited me Felicity informed me that her parents are going to be all right". "Thank god I'm just nervous if their health insurance will cover wsome of the therapy they may need"her grandfather stated.

Criss whispered something to JD and he went to his office. "Let me do something to help you"Criss said as JD came over. "Consider this my gift to their recovery" and gave him a check. "I can't take this"he stated. "It's my honor your daughter gave me a gift when I was having a bad day so consider it a fair trade since she had one on her birthday"Criss replied. The man shook Criss's hand and thanked him. Criss gave Felicity a hug and they left. "That was nice idea Criss"JD said. "Come on let's go call and tell her the good news" and they went back to the office.
