Need help with a story (love an idea from you guys)

I want to do a christmas story kind of story with Criss but I'm not sure what the reason should be why three spirts should visit Criss. Any Ideas?

The three spirits theme is cliche, old hat, stale as yesterday's bagels. How about having a REAL angel (wings, halo, shining robes, etc.) visit him, either in a dream or in a vision, and having him a) perform a task or three b) granting him a wish or two or three or c) give him a message to deliver. Well, you make the call, but be original about it (yeah, you can throw in his dad if you want). Do me a favor, okay? Don't inflict any type of illness or injury on him this time. Keep him healthy for once. ( I thought of having the angel bestow real angelic powers on Criss for a twenty-four hour period; he screws up at first trying to get used to them, but in the end he manages to do good).
