Outside at the warehouse Criss was working on some stunts with his brother Costa and Doug. "All right now let's see if this work" Criss remarked. "All right Criss on three the pyro will go off so be ready"Costa stated as they got a few feet away. "Shall we". Doug set it but when they got to two the pyro went off knocking Criss to the ground. "Christopher!!,"Costa yelled as he ran over. He saw Criss on the ground with his hands over his eyes screaming in pain. "Doug call an ambulance!!!". At The Luxor JD was looking over stuff when his mom came in. "Where's Christopher and Costa?"she asked sitting down. "At the warehouse they should be back soon. It feels weird having you here mom. You hate the hot Nevada weather"JD stated. "Well since they have to spray the house for Terminates and Silverfish I thought why not see my boys" she replied. Then the phone started ringing like crazy. JD picked it up. "Hello". "JD it's Costa". "Costa what's wrong?" JD asked as his mother got up. "It's Criss we were working on a stunt and the pyro went off too soon and Criss is in the hospital".

"Costa slow down how badly hurt is Criss". "He kept saying I can't see I can't see I think you and mom should get down here now". "All right Costa we'll be right down" and JD hung up. "What's wrong with Christopher?"Dimitra asked shaking a little. "Mom there was an accident Criss was doing some work with pyro and something happened blinding Criss. Costa said we should get down there now"he said. Dimitra grabbed her purse and they left. At the hospital JD and Dimitra came in to see Costa sitting with Doug. "What's going on Costa how's Criss?"JD inquired. "They're still looking him over. I don't know what happen the pyro went off and when I went to see how Criss was his hands were over his eyes and he was screaming like someone pepper sprayed him"Costa replied scared to death. They all sat down wondering what was going to happen to Criss. Could he be temporary blind or permanently. When the doctor finally came everyone's hands were shaking. "So how's my brother?"JD asked. "It's seems the blast blinded Criss pretty bad. He can't see anything right now"the doctor remarked. "Is the blindness temporary or pr-permanent?" Dimitra stuttered. "It's too early to say"the doctor replied.

"Can we see him?"Doug asked. "We had to give him a sedative to relax him to get a look at his eyes". "Please I would like to see my baby"Dimitra asked. "Please doc let her see him"JD said. "All right follow me". Dimitra took his hand and they went into the emergency room. Costa sat down as JD just faced the wall. In the emergency room they brought Dimitra in. "I just want to say his eyes are covered and he has a couple of flash burns around his face"The doctor said. Dimitra took a breath as the doctor pulled back the curtain. Criss was in a bed with his eyes covered and gauze around his head. His face looked like he had been sun burned. The doctor brought over a chair for Dimitra to sit in. "We'll give you some time". Tears started to fall down her face as she looked at her youngest son there.

She could remember all the stunts he's done and stuff she couldn't even watch him do or Criss had asked her not to come. She ran her hand through his jet black hair wondering if he was going to be the same Christopher she loved. "Who's there?"Criss asked waking up. "It's mom Christopher"she replied. "Mom what's going on why is it so dark in here?"he asked a little confused. Tears started to fall down her face. "There was an accident Christopha your eyes were hurt". Criss lifted his hand to feel the gauze around his face. "Am I going to lose my sight?" he asked fearing to hear the answer. "The doctors don't know Christopher". "Mom I'm scared I don't want to be blind". Dimitra took Criss's hand. "Just go back to sleep my baby" and she started to sing a song Criss remember her singing when he was a little kid. A smile appeared on his face as Criss went back to sleep.

The next day Criss was getting released but Criss felt scared. He never thought that he would lose the one thing that a lot of people take for granted. "Criss you all right?"A voice called out. "Yea I'm fine Costa just nervous "he replied. "Come on Criss you're going to be all right" as he sat next to Criss. "I just can't believe this happened. That one little illusion did this to me"he said. "Criss you'll get your sight back". "And if I don't what's going to happen than"Criss asked. "Let's not talk about it until we have to". Criss took Costa's hand and left. At The Luxor JD was working with Criss's new assistant Jenny. "So Criss is coming back today"Jenny stated. "Yea he's going to need a lot of help with this". "Come on JD Criss is one of those people that can make a negative into a postive"she remarked.

"Jenny this is something that's going to effect everyone if Criss doesn't get his sight back he may have to give up magic". When Criss finally got back Costa was helping him as much as he could which Criss hated. "Here sit down" and Criss did until he got up. "Where are you going?". "The bathroom" Criss remarked as he used his hands to get around. A knock came to the door and Costa got it. "Hey Costa where's Criss?"Jenny asked walking in. "Bathroom I hope". "Dam it" Criss called out. "You all right?"Costa called out. "Yea just smack myself with the door"Criss replied coming out. "JD needs to speak with you so I'll stay with Criss for a while"Jenny stated. "All right Criss Jenny's going to be stay with you. I'll be right back" and Costa shut the door as Criss came closer. "Jenny where are you?" he called out holding out his hands. "Follow my voice Christopher"she replied and he did.

He put his hands on her face. "Wow I never knew how soft your skin is" as Jenny took his hands. "Come on I have something for you" as they sat down. "What is it?"he asked. She pulled a deck out of her pocket and pulled one of the cards out. "Here I want you to feel this" she replied as she guided Criss's hands over it. "I feel bumps". "Yea what does the bumps make"Jenny said. "A heart and a five. What is this?"Criss asked. "They're a deck of card made for the blind from the ace of hearts to the king of spade I got them for you" she replied. "Why do you think I'm not going to be able to do my magic since I can't see"Criss asked a little defensive. "Criss don't get so defensive I'm not doing that it's a gift I got them from my mother's school for the blind". "Your mother works with the blind"Criss said a little surprised.

"Yea when she heard that I got job working for you she thought it would be cool for you to have these" as she put the deck in his hand. "I'm sorry about that I guess I'm just scared that I'm going to lose my sight"he replied. "Don't worry Criss everyone doesn't want you to" as she gave Criss a peck on the check. "JD's about to knock"Criss stated. A knock came to the door and Jenny answered it. Criss was right it was JD. "Criss wow". "What?"JD asked coming in. "It's Criss he knew you were at the door. How?"Jenny asked. "JD wears too much cologne how Lynn puts up with it I'll never know"he replied. "Very funny Christopher"JD stated as they all laughed.

In the production office Jenny was working on some stuff when her phone rang. "Mindfreak Production office". "Hello Jenny how are you?". "Hey mom how's school?"she asked. "Great got some great students this year how's your boss I heard about his accident from one of my students". "He's a little freaked by it and scared. I don't blame him if he was deaf than he could still do magic but when you can't see if you've done the trick correctly or if the illusion isn't working than-". "I understand sweetie I wanted to tell you we're sending Criss some get well cards to him"her mother remarked. "Thanks mom" and hung up as JD came in. "Who was that?"he asked. "My mom she wanted to see how I'm doing"she replied. "Criss showed me those cards you gave him". "My mom sent them to me to give to Criss". "Yea he's upstairs using them showing Costa some card tricks. I didn't know your mother worked with the blind"JD said. "Yea she's been doing it since I was about three years old" Jenny remarked.

Upstairs Criss was trying to have something to eat but managed to drop some of it in his lap. As he tried to go to the bathroom he tripped over Hammie falling to the floor. "DAM IT!!". "You all right Criss?"a voice said helping Criss up. "Jenny is that you?". "Yea Criss it's me I was coming up to say good-night when I heard you yell dam it"she replied. "I just hate this it feels strange not to see where I'm going and not seeing where Hammie is". "Criss you did a demonstration once where you were blind and you drove Mandy Moore's car. Use some of the skill you used than to help you now". "All right do you mind helping me change"he asked. "Sure put your hand on my shoulder and I'll guide you" Jenny stated. Criss put his hand on Jenny but it wasn't her shoulder. "Criss unless you want a sexual harassment suit I'd go higher". Criss blushed. "Sorry" Criss said as he found her shoulder. She guided Criss into his room. After she helped Criss change into his pajamas Criss felt for his bed and got in. "Not bad Criss". "Thanks but can you do something for me it's kind of stupid and childish".

"Criss with you everything is childish"Jenny joked. "There's a book on my night stand I've been reading before I go to bed do you mind reading some to me" blushing a little. "No I don't mind I use to do this with some of mom's students when I volunteered there" as she grabbed the book. After she read a few chapter Criss fell asleep. She gave Criss a kiss and got up. So Criss wouldn't get hurt during the night she left his bathroom and bedroom door open. Jenny was about to leave when her phone rang. "Hello". "Hey Jenny it's Costa". "What's up?"she asked. "Well JD doesn't want Criss to be alone tonight and I was suppose to stay but I can't do it and I can't get a hold of JD-". "Costa I'll stay with Criss I'm in his suite right now you just caught me leaving". "Jenny you're a lifesaver" Costa said. "Tell me something I don't know"she replied and hung up. The next morning Jenny was up early and went back to her apartment to grab some clean clothes and the paper.

When Criss woke up he got up and felt his door was open. "Anybody there?"he called out. "Follow my voice Criss". Criss followed her voice and sat next to her. "Jenny what are you doing here I thought Costa would be here?"he said sitting next to her. "Costa got tied up last night and I volunteer to stay with you last night. You want something to eat"she asked. "Not right now did the paper come". "I brought mine"Jenny remarked as she took Criss's hand and put it on the paper. "Your paper's in brail!"Criss said surprised. "Yea my mom taught me to read brail if you want to I'll teach you". "Why not I'll probably be reading it this way soon or later"he stated. "Christopher don't think that way this is only temporary all right". "All right"he remarked.

After Jenny taught Criss some brail Criss wanted to go down stairs. As he was heading to the bedroom Criss tripped over Hammie again falling to the floor. "Dam it"Criss said as Hammie went running. "You all right?"she asked. "Yea"Criss replied as she helped him up. "Criss you have to use your other sense like touch and hearing. Use your feet to feel where Hammie is or listen for him purring so you can avoid him"Jenny suggested. "I'll remember that"Criss remarked. After Criss got dressed and had something to eat Jenny brought him downstairs. In the production office Costa and JD were working on some stuff. "How's Criss?". "I don't know I just feel so bad that this happened to Criss"JD remarked. "Well maybe later we'll take him for a walk". "Costa you make seem like Criss is a dog"JD stated. As Criss and Jenny came out Jenny stood to the side as Criss walked.

"How you doing Criss?"she asked. "Better I can hear a lot of people from the left"Criss replied. Jenny looked and saw it was a Starbucks. "That's a Starbucks Criss"she replied. "I smell apples and apricots" he replied as he took a deep breath. Jenny saw a bath store that was selling soaps that smelled like fruits. "Wow Criss I can't even smell that I guess your other senses are picking up the slack for your eyes"she stated as he smiled a little. When they got to the production office Jenny opened the door. "Christopher what are you doing here?" Costa asked surprised. "You know me I hate being in one place for so long I had to get out" he replied. "But how?". "I helped him"Jenny replied coming over. "She's kind of been my seeing eye dog no offense" Criss remarked sitting down. "None taken Criss"she replied with a smile to her face. "Criss we just think you should be taking it easy to let your eyes heal".

"Guys I maybe blind but I'm not dead so I can't see I can still walk, talk, and hear. Just because one senses is out of order it doesn't mean the others are out too"Criss remarked. "Criss you may not like to hear this but mom doesn't want you left alone she's scared you're going to get hurt"JD said. "That's mom takes fear to another level"Criss muttered. "Guys how about this I stay with Criss until his eyes are better" Jenny suggested. "Jenny guys no offense but I don't need to be babysat just because I'm blind". "Criss you're talking to the shredder" JD said as the others tried not to laugh. "Just do this so we can get mom off our back" Costa inquired. "All right for mom and you guys I'll let Jenny babysit me"he said. Just by his tone they all knew he hated saying it.

After talking with his brother Criss felt down he hated not seeing and having Jenny following him around didn't make him feel any better. "So Criss what do you want to do now?"Jenny asked. "Hide" he said. "Come on Criss I know you don't like this"Jenny stated. "You're loving this being my seeing eye dog"Criss replied. "Christopher Nicholas Sarantakos that's unfair to say" Jenny remarked. "I'm sorry it just that I'm scared that I'm not going to see again" he said with his head hung low. "Criss how about I teach you to use your other senses so if you do lose your sight you can live with out help"she suggested. "Like what?"he asked. "How about not tripping over Hammie". "All right I'm your student teach me"Criss stated.

"All right Criss take off your shoes and follow my voice". Criss took off his shoes and started to walk when Criss banged into something. "That hurt". "Criss you may have your room laid out in your head but things changed like someone forgetting to push in a chair"Jenny stated. Then Criss stubbed his toes. "Or someone forgetting to put away the ping pong table". Then Criss tripped. "Or leaving a cane on the ground". Criss got up. "You did that on purpose!"he called out. "You bet your greek butt I did," picking up the cane. "Criss you have to rely on touch, smell and hearing if you don't want to end up trading Hammie in for a seeing eye dog". "All right and I'm sorry for screaming at you"he replied. "All right Criss now let's try again but I'm going to change it on you"Jenny remarked. After a few hours Criss was catching on. "You ready for the final exam?"Jenny inquired. "Go"Criss replied. "All right follow my voice and come to me"Jenny called out.

Criss started to walk to Jenny he used his hands to feel where the chair was. "That great Criss" as he pushed in it. Then he used his foot and felt a pair of shoes. Criss went to the side and missed them. "Good now for the ultimate challenge". She put Hammie in Criss's way. Criss got half way but he stepped over Hammie. "How I do?"Criss asked. "Congratulation Criss but how did you know Hammie was in your way?" Jenny asked. "I could hear him purring" as Jenny smiled.

That night Criss wanted to go out and try to see Las Vegas another way as he put it. "All right Criss you want a coat it's a little chilly tonight"Jenny replied putting on hers. "Yea grab me the denim one with my skull insignia on the back"he stated. Jenny grabbed it and helped put it on. "A guy could get use to this"Criss joked. "Very funny Christopher now come on" as Criss took her hand. When they got downstairs there were a few loyals waiting for Criss just to see how he was. "Criss you've got some fans to your left coming"Jenny whispered. "Hey Criss how are you?"one of them asked. "Doing good considering I temporally lost my sight"he stated. "We kind of miss seeing your brown eyes Criss". "But we're all praying you get better Criss" as one of the ladies gave Criss a kiss on the check. Criss blushed a little as the lady walked away wishing Criss could see her model body. "I'll be back guys thanks for the support" Criss said as he took Jenny's hand.

"Tell me something that woman that kissed me was she hot?"Criss whispered. "Let's just say she'd give Holly a run for her money in Playboy"she replied as Criss smiled. They first went to the foundation show in front of the Bellagio. As everyone watched it Criss was listening to the water as it fell to the ground or into the water. He was smiling like a little kid. Than they went over to The Mirage to see the Volcano show. Criss was listening to the music and the sound of the volcano as it erupted and feeling the heat from the fireballs as they shot up in the air. "WOW!" Jenny exclaimed. After that they went to Freemont Street. "So how are you doing Criss?" Jenny asked. "Not bad I swear Jenny you should just shut your eyes and listen to the world". "Try it during a rain storm it's kind of cool"Jenny replied. "Jenny can I ask you a personal question?"he inquired. "Yea Criss what do you want to know?". "Is your mom blind because the way you helped me in my suite it's like you knew what the problems were with what blind people have to live with". "Yea my mom lost her sight when I was really young. I had to help my mom out whenever possible"Jenny remarked.

"Are you nervous that you may end up like your mom?". "I came close to it the problem that caused my mom to lose her sight was happening to me but the caught in time to fix it. My mom sometimes wishing she went to the doctor to have her eyes looked at before she lost her sight," Jenny said wiping away some tears. "We should get back before your brothers call out the search party". Criss got up and took Jenny's hand. "Lead the way"Criss joked and they left. When they got back Criss stopped as he smelled something. "Something wrong Criss?". "I smell honey suckle and peaches"he replied. "That's my mom's perfume"Jenny stated. She looked around and sitting on a bench with her seeing eye dog was Jenny's mom.

She and Criss walked over. "Mom". "Hello baby I thought I'd bring down those get well cards for your boss. I smell Old Spice and Axe"she replied. "That would be me"Criss said. Jenny's mom put her hands on Criss's face. "Hmm I feel your eyes are still wrapped"she replied. "Would you like to come over to the production office for a minute mom?"Jenny asked. "Sure come on Felix"her mother said. Criss snickered. "Your mother's see eye dog is named Felix" trying not to laugh. "Would of liked Angel or Criss"Jenny inquired as they went to the office. Jenny opened the doors for both of them. Jenny's mom found the couch but Criss fell to the floor. "You all right Criss?" Jenny asked helping him. "Yea I guess JD pushed in my chair from where I left it this morning" as he found the chair and sat down. "Has my daughter been helping you Christopher?"her mother asked.

"Yes she has a lot. I also enjoyed those playing cards she gave me" Criss remarked. "I'm even teaching Criss to read Brail mom"Jenny remarked. "Wow maybe if Criss would like to he can come to school to visit with the class". "Sure I'd enjoy that"Criss replied. "Well here are the cards Jenny it was nice to meet you Criss". "Nice to meet you too"Criss replied as Jenny got up. "Let me help you mom" and help her out. "He's a nice look man are you sure he's forty-two"she said.

Since Jenny hadn't been to her apartment for a while Dimitra took over watching Criss. In his room Criss was fixing himself lunch when his mom walked in. "Christopher where are you?". "Over here mom"he called out. She saw him making a sandwich. "What you making?"she asked. "Bologna and Cheese" he replied. "Let me help you". "Mom I want to try this on my own"Criss said. She sat down and watched Criss. After he was done Dimitra was amazed. "Wow that is amazing" she stated. "Jenny has been helping me learning to do stuff if I lose-". Criss couldn't even finish the sentence. Dimitra walked over and gave her son a hug. "Don't worry you'll see again"she said. "If I don't I'll have to give up magic" Criss remarked with a bit of sorrow in his tone. At the apartment Jenny was cleaning. "I never knew how much can pile up in three days"she said to herself. Then a knock came to the door. "Hold on," as she put her laundry in a basket. When she opened the door Dimitra was there. "Dimitra what are you doing here?" surprised to see her. "I wanted to talk to you"Dimitra replied. "Sure come in" and she did. "I was wondering what you're doing with Christopher".

"What are talking about?"Jenny asked. "Why you teaching Criss to live with out his sight for. He will get it back"she remarked. "Dimitra what I'm doing is just teaching Criss how to live with out it if he does lose his sight. I'm hoping to god that Criss gets his sight back but I'm just preparing him if Criss does go blind" Jenny assured Dimitra. "I see what you're getting at Jenny. You don't want Criss to lose his sight as much as his fans and family do"she replied. Jenny walked over to Dimitra and gave her a hug. "Why don't you go back to The Luxor and be with Criss while I find my living room floor". Dimitra laughed as she walked out the door. In his suite Criss was walking around. For once he wasn't hounded by people to see a demonstration or have his autograph. He kind of wondered how he would do that with out his sight. It sent shivers down his spine. Criss decided to try something on his own. He grabbed his cane and left his room. He put his hands against the wall to guide him to the elevator. When Criss felt the elevators door he pressed the down button. When the door opened Criss used the cane to make sure there was nothing in the way. He walked in and felt the buttons.

Let's see if I remember how to read these brail number, Criss thought as he felt the bottom level. When Criss felt the number he wanted he pressed it. Now let's just hope this doesn't stop on any other floor. When Dimitra came back she went over to the production office to talk to JD for a minute to ease her fears about Criss. "Hey mom I was about to go upstairs and see Criss". "You mean he's been up there by himself since I left" Dimitra replied shocked. "Costa-I'm going to kill Costa he probably got sidetracked by one the girls from BELIEVE again come on". They were heading to the elevators when they saw a bunch of loyals huddling around. "All right now just point me to the camera“ a voice remarked. They got closer and saw Criss having some pictures taken. "We're done Criss". The girl gave Criss a kiss on the check and wish him well. "Thanks now who was next?"he inquired. "I can't believe Christopher got down here on his own!"Dimitra said amazed. "I guess Jenny is teaching Criss to adapt and use his other senses until his eye sight comes back"JD stated.

After they finished Criss went over to where his brother and mother were standing. "Hey guys". "I can't believe you got down here on your own" JD stated. "Thank Jenny she taught me a few things" Criss replied smiling. "How about we go for a walk outside today Christopher" Dimitra suggested. "I could use the fresh air" as he left with his mom. The next day Jenny came back and saw Dimitra in the production office looking worried so she went in. "Dimitra what's wrong you look like something's brothering you"she asked. "I went to see Christopher this morning and he said he wasn't feeling good he said he felt like his eyes were on fire". "So you're worried that Criss could have an infection maybe some of the blast powder still in his eyes"Jenny said. She nodded as her feet started to tap the floor. Jenny walked over to Dimitra and sat next to her. "Dimitra don't worry maybe his bandages just need to be changed. Did you call his doctor?".

"JD is on the phone with him right now. I hope to good he isn't losing his sIght" she stated. Jenny gave Dimitra a reassuring hug. "He's going to be all right Dimitra"she kept saying as she put her arms around Dimitra. "I wish I had a camera right now"JD said when he saw Jenny and his mom. "So what did the doctor say?"Dimitra asked getting up. "He thinks since Criss isn't feeling any pressure or pain. He's ordering some medicated eye drops and to change Criss's bandage and see if that helps". "I'll go to the pharmacy and see if it came in and get some bandages for Christopher"Jenny remarked. "Jenny you are like an angel"Dimitra said as she smiled. When she got back JD was talking with Criss. "Hey Criss how you doing?". "A little better"he replied. "Well why don't we go into the bed room so we can put these drops in your eyes and rebandage you"Jenny suggested. Criss got up and took JD's hand. Jenny got a pair of scissors to cut the bandages off. "JD why don't you dim the lights and shut the blinds. Criss's eyes might be extremely sensitive to the light"Jenny suggested. "I was just thinking that Jenny"JD remarked as he dimmed the light and shut the blinds.

"All right Criss I want you to lay there still I have to cut the bandages and I'm not in the mood to change your hair style". Criss giggled at the comment. "Jenny before you bandage my eyes again do you think I could wash my hair"Criss asked. "Yea it does look a little gressey"Jenny suggested. "Please it looks like you stuck your head into a tube of oil"JD joked. "All right hold on for a second". Jenny grabbed a chair and brought it over to the shower in the bathroom. "All right let me just take these bandages first" as she cut the bandages She did it very slowly and tried not to cut Criss's hair too. "There we go. JD grab me the bag with the drops in them". JD went to go get them as she took off the cotton covers over his eyes. Criss opened his eyes but saw nothing but blurs. "Close your eyes Criss and put on your sunglasses so you don't get soap in your eyes" handing them to him. Criss put them on as JD came in. "JD throw away the old bandages and meet me in the bathroom"Jenny said. She lead Criss to the bathroom and sat him down. "I feel like I'm at a salon"Criss stated smiling. "Maybe I should ask JD to get some curlers"she joked. JD laughed as he came in. "How about we get rid of that five a clock shadow too" JD suggested.

While Jenny washed Criss's hair JD shaved Criss's face. "There we go" as she dried his hair and JD wiped the cream off his face. "Now let's get those drops in and wrap you up again" as they lead Criss back into the bedroom. She took the glasses off Criss and put the drops in. "Son a :eek: !!"Criss declared. "Just relax Criss I know it stings it just taking out of the dust and probably more that making your eyes burn"JD stated holding Criss's hand. She put the cotton patches over Criss's eyes and wrapped him up again. "There we go Criss how's that?"Jenny asked. Criss just sighed. "Something wrong bro?"JD asked. "I'm scared that I'm not going to see anything again my life will become a dark prison I'll never get out of" Criss remarked. Pity party party of one Jenny thought.

"Christopher don't think that you will get your eyes sight back. You'll see your mom's beautiful black hair and her smile, JD's surprise look when you do surprise illusions for the crew. Costa trying to hit on Kayla also you'll see me and the smile I'll have on my face when I finally get to see your smokey brown and hazel eyes" as she gave Criss a kiss on the check. Just hearing that made him feel better. "Now why don't we go downstairs and have some lunch with your mom"Jenny suggested. When they got downstairs Dimitra was waiting. When the elevator opened and she saw Criss she smiled. "Is something wrong mom?"Criss asked when he didn't hear his mom. "No I'm just surprised at how you look"she replied. "Well thank JD and nurse Jenny" Criss joked. Jenny whispered something and Criss walked to his mother and gave her a hug as JD and Jenny gave each other a high five. Dimitra took her son's hand and they left. "So what are you going to do now?"JD asked. "I'm going to go to Believe for a minute" and walked off. When she went into The Believe Theater she looked around. She remembered seeing Criss do Believe. The screaming and clapping could still be heard in her mind. Jenny walked down the theater and jumped on the stage. "No wonder Criss sometimes fall asleep here it's so peaceful" Jenny said to herself. Jenny went to her back pocket and took out a handkerchief.

All of sudden she made a dove appear and it flew into the audience. "Criss isn't the only one who knows a few tricks" she said to her self . She took off her coat and put it on the floor than she made it levitate. Then it fell to the ground. Jenny picked up her coat than she went to the back and grabbed a stool. She brought it out and put it next to her. She whistled as the dove came back and landed on the stool. She put her coat on the dove and when she took it off Hammie appeared. Hammie just licked his chops. Jenny laughed as she picked him up. "Come on Hammie I should get you upstairs before JD wonders what you're doing down here" as she picked him up. In the security office one of the personal had seen the show and decided to show JD. In the office JD was about to close up when Derek walked in.

"Hey JD I have to show you something!" he declared putting the DVD in the player. JD sat down as Derek turned it on. JD's jaw drop when he saw it was Jenny. "I thought I was watching your brother until I saw it was Jenny“he replied. Upstairs Jenny was cleaning up the bathroom as she was listening to NICKELBACK IF TODAY WAS YOUR LAST DAY.

After she finished Jenny picked up her coat as Hammie meowed at her. "What Hammie you want out again. Criss would fire me if he knew I did that trick with you" as she rubbed his belly. "Your daddy spoils you doesn't he. Maybe when he gets his sight back I'll give you a bath so you can look good for him". Downstairs Criss and Dimitra came in. "How was lunch?". "Good I feel like I'm about to explode"Criss remarked. "Maybe your body's telling you to get back into the gym"JD said. Dimitra laughed. "Where's my assistant I've got some stuff that has to be done"Criss asked. "Probably trying to get Felix to hire her and throw you out of The Luxor"JD stated. "What do you mean by that?" Dimitra asked. "Yea Jenny's a great assistant". "Well she's also a closet magician too"JD remarked. "I don't understand"Criss asked. "She was doing magic in your theater and Derek thought it was you until he saw it was Jenny. Criss I talked to Doug and it seems that someone sabotaged the pyro".

"Wait just a dam minute JD why would Jenny do that when she's been helping me through this!!" Criss exclaimed. "I don't know guilt maybe"JD stated. "JD you have no proof that she even did this to Christopher" their mother replied. While they talked Jenny was behind the elevators and heard everything. I forgot about those cameras she muttered. "Criss what do you know about Jenny maybe she messed that stunt up to blind you". "JD nobody expect Costa and Doug knew I was working on it. I was going to debut it on a future episode of Mindfreak so let's not start blaming people all right" and Criss walked to the elevator. "Well I'm going to find out more about her before she winds up killing you"JD called out. Criss flipped JD off as the elevator closed. "JD why are you so sure Jenny did this?". "Let me show you the tape,"JD stated and brought his mother inside. When she saw the tape she was amazed it was like watching Criss.

"And I did a background check on her there's no girl in the state anywhere named Jenny Lucis". "What about her mother?". "I don't know her mother's name or the school she's works at. Mom she's hiding something and knowing these tricks is one of them"he remarked. In the atrium Jenny was sitting thinking as tears fell down her face. JD was right about one thing she was hiding something but she didn't tamper with the pyro. She loved Criss and wouldn't hurt him for the world. Helping him was her nature since she went through the same thing with her mom. Jenny's phone went off and saw it was Criss. "Criss how did to dial a phone?". "I asked Costa to put you on speed dial. I need you to answer a question truthfully". "Christopher I know what you're going to ask and I didn't mess with the pyro to blind you or hurt you"she remarked wiping the tears away. "Jenny I know I promised you and your uncle I wouldn't reveal this but I think JD needs to know the truth before he has you arrest"Criss suggested. "All right Criss" she said and hung up. In Criss's suite Criss was waiting for his brother to come up. When JD came up he saw Jenny sitting next to Criss. "What she doing here?"JD asked.

"JD take it down a peg I asked her to come up so we could talk to you before you have her arrested"Criss replied. "All right"JD stated as he sat down. "JD I know you think I did this to Criss but I didn't I was with you that day remember" Jenny remarked. "All right I'll admit to that but what are you hiding that you had to change your name for?"he asked. "JD My name is Jenny I just changed my last name for family reason" she replied. "What do you mean by family reasons?". "It's who her uncle is. She didn't want people to hire her just because of her last name. It's also the reason she knows so much about magic and those tricks she did in Believe today" Criss stated. "So who's her uncle The amazing Jonathon?". "Penn Jillette is my uncle"Jenny replied.

"You mean Penn from Penn and Tellar"JD remarked amazed. "You got it her mother is Penn's sister. He moved them to Las Vegas when Jenny was two. He's been showing Jen magic tricks since she was around the same age I was when I discovered magic" Criss stated. "Criss you're talking to the wall again" Jenny said. "I got to stop doing that"Criss remarked as he found a chair to sit in. "Criss how did you find out about this?" JD asked. "A few weeks after I hired her I ran into Penn and he asked how his niece was doing working for me. I was kind of shocked by it and when I asked Jenny about it she explained everything and made me promise not to tell the crew about it so they wouldn't jump to the conclusion-". "That you hired her because Penn asked you too I get it now. Jenny I don't do this much but I'm sorry I accused you of hurting Criss"JD stated. "Apology accepted" as she smile.


After that mess was solved JD left leaving Criss and Jenny alone. "So what do you want to do Criss?" she asked. "Do you mind taking a picture of mine when I finally get my sight back I want to see what I looked like with this on me"he asked. "Sure" as she picked up his phone to take a picture. After she took the picture her phone beeped. "Someone texting me?"Criss asked. "No it's my phone Criss"she replied. When Jenny saw what it was all the color in her face left and she started to feel sick to her stomach. "Something wrong Jenny?"Criss asked. "All of a sudden I'm not feeling good I'm going to get your mom or one of your brother to come up and stay with you"she replied and left the penthouse. When Jenny got outside she looked at what was sent to her. A picture of her pain in the :mad: boyfriend messing around with the pyro that caused Criss's lose of sight.

Jenny went downstairs and saw Costa talking Kayala. "Costa can you go upstairs and be with Criss I'm not feeling so hot". "Sure hope you feel better" and she left. When Jenny got to her apartment her ex was there. "So what did you think of the picture I sent you?"he asked. With our warning she slugged him knocking him to the ground and knocking out a few teeth to boot. "You selfish son of a :mad: why in god's holy universe did you do that to my boss?"Jenny asked angry as hell. "I did for you now with out him standing in your way you can be the magician you always wanted to be"he replied getting up. "I told you Peter I didn't want to do it that way. I was going to ask Criss to help me put together a small show at The Magic Castle untill you messed with his pyro. You could of killed him"Jenny replied ready to hit him again.

"So I took his sight think of it as payback you know he wouldn't of helped you he's too busy with his shows to help a nobody like you"Peter stated. "I should turn your :mad: into the police for nearly killing Criss!!"Jenny replied. "You do that I'll tell the cops you asked me to mess with his pyro". "You wouldn't dare?". "Try me Jenny poo now excuse me I need to find a dentist" and he left. Jenny got so furious she threw a flower pot at the door. ":mad:"Jenny yelled at the top of her lungs.

Jenny was confused she didn't know what to do so she decided to go see her uncle for advice. When she arrived at the show her uncle was signing some autographs. "I hope you're not using disappearing ink". He turned around as Jenny walked down. "My favorite niece how's working with Angel going I heard about his accident from Carrot Top"he replied as Jenny sat on the stage. "I need your advice unc I know who messed with Criss's pyro to blind him". "This doesn't take a mentalist to tell me that it was your pain in the :mad: ex Peter" he replied. "Give the man a teddy bear. He sent me this" and showed him the picture. "That rat :mad: why don't you show this to the police have him arrested for what he did to Criss".

"That's the problem uncle he says if I do he'll tell the police I asked him to do it which I didn't. I don't want to lose my job with Criss but I don't want to go to jail for something I didn't do"she replied wiping tears from her face. Penn gave his niece a hug. "It's all right Jen". At The Luxor Costa was playing cards with Criss. "These are so weird Criss they don't show what the cards are just bumps". "That's because they're made for the blind Costa"he replied. Then Hammie jumped on the table knocking the cards to the floor. "Hammie bad cat get down"Criss stated and he did. "How did you do that?". Criss just smiled as Costa picked up the cards. "You know what I'm bored let's go somewhere"Criss stated. "Well going to the club is out of the question you'd get lost in LAX"Costa remarked.

"This is the one thing I hate about being this way"Criss said. A knock came to the door so Costa got up and at the door was JD. "What's up JD?"Criss asked. "Will you cut that out Christopher I just got a call from the police they arrested the guy who messed with your pyro a Peter Seuss". "Do I know him?" Criss asked. "Never heard of him"Costa replied. "Well I thought you should know and Penn's downstairs he said he wanted to talk to you about Jenny". Criss got up and walked over than he stopped. "Either I need to clean out my refrigerator or Costa has his shoes off"Criss inquired. JD took a whiff and pinched his nose. "Oh my god Costa get some order eater or new shoes before the wall paper peels off or Felix comes up here wondering if we're hiding a dead body up here" as he and Criss left.

As they waited for Criss Jenny was biting her nails. "Jenny relax everything will be fine"he said. "I know but I'm nervous that when Criss hears who Peter is to me he may fire me and I don't want that"she replied. "I don't think Criss would do that to you after what you've done to help him"Pen assured his niece. The production door opened and Criss and JD came in. "Hey Blindfreak". "I knew sooner or later someone was going to say that"Criss said with laughter in his voice. "So what's going on why the visit Penn?"JD asked as Criss leaned against a desk. "It's about this Peter guy my niece knows him". "He's my pain in the :mad: ex boyfriend. He knows that I have a talent for magic like Criss has for scaring the wits out of people sometimes," Jenny replied. "So to get me more exposure he screwed with the pyro".

"I knew you planned this Jenny!!!"JD replied furious. "But I didn't do this Criss you have to believe me I didn't ask Peter to screw with your pyro". "I knew it when I saw you doing that magic in Believe. You know what Jenny you should leave right now before I have you arrested for conspiracy to commit assault". "JD she's telling the truth. She wouldn't do anything to harm Criss"Penn stated. "Bull :mad: Penn how do I know you're not covering for her"JD replied. Jenny looked at Criss as he just stood there with head hung low holding his cane. "I'll leave I hope your sight come back Criss". Jenny started to leave untill Criss put his cane up. "Christopher what are you doing?"JD asked confused. "She's not going anywhere I believe her she's not involved in this" Criss replied.

"Criss did that explosion take away your reasoning with your sight?"JD inquired. Criss put down his cane and got up. "It's her voice the pitches when she talked about Peter. It's like listening to you when I explained White Death your voice would crack like hers did. Also why would Penn come. JD why don't you take the knot out of your shorts and call off the dogs"Criss remarked. "So you believe that I didn't plan this at all"Jenny stated. Criss nodded with a smile to his face. Jenny walked over to Criss and gave him a hug. "Well I'm glad that's settled"Penn stated. "Hey Penn you want to join us for dinner?" Criss offered. "No I got to get back I'll see you later baby" Penn said giving Jenny a kiss and left. "Well how about I call mom and Costa and see if they want to join us"JD suggested. "Only if Jenny can join us"Criss remarked. "I would love to" she replied. As we started to leave Criss tripped over something hitting the floor.

"DAM IT!!"he yelled. "Let me help you bro?"JD said but Criss pushed him away. "Leave me alone I'm not disabled JD!!" getting up. "I didn't say you were Criss"JD remarked. "Criss what's wrong?"Jenny asked. "It's this," pointing to his bandaged eyes. "I hate this being in the dark I want to see what I'm doing instead of being in this dark cell". "Christopher it's temporary"Jenny replied. "What if it isn't I'll be stuck in this dark prison for the rest of my :mad: life"Criss said. "Criss don't say that you will see again"JD assured him. "JD you don't know what it feels like. I spent an hour by myself and it felt like I was solitary confident with no light. I was ready to lose my mind"Criss stated. "Criss you can't pity yourself I know in my heart you will get your sight back" Jenny replied putting her hand on Criss's chest. "Criss you have to have faith that this is temporary you can't let the what ifs crawl up into your mind you have to push them out"JD stated putting his hand on Criss's shoulder. "All right"he remarked.

"Now let's go get something to eat I hear Criss's stomach growling" as Criss smiled. At the restaurant Dimitra met us but Costa had a date. As Jenny read some of the menu to Criss Jim Callahan walked in. "I think the prime rib with mushrooms sound good"Criss said "I thought mushrooms gave you gas Christopher" Dimitra replied. "Thanks for reminding me I don't want to kill Hammie” Criss joked. "What about Cajun Chicken and Pasta"Jenny suggested. "Tried that and ended up with five alarm heart burn" Criss replied as Callahan walked over. "I guess the rumors are true Criss Angel has lost his sight". "Callahan why don't you make yourself disappear?"JD inquired. "I have prediction for you Christopher you're going to be in the dark for the rest of your life" he stated and left laughing. "What a jerk"Dimitra replied. "Excuse me I've suddenly lost my appetite" and Criss left. Jenny turned as she looked at Callahan having a drink. "What I wouldn't give to punch that guy in the mouth" JD said.

"Who would JD"Dimitra added. Jenny got up and went into the bar. As Callahan talked Jenny snuck over and put something in his drink than left. Upstairs Criss was sitting there just patting Hammie. "Criss" a voice said coming in. "Jenny I thought you'd be having dinner with my mom and JD?". "Yea but it wasn't the same with out you Criss so we left not before Callahan ran out of the restaurant with a brown stain on his pants" laughing. Criss laughed. "He :mad: his drawers how did he do that?"Criss asked. "I kind of slipped him a stool softener or three in his drink"she remarked. Criss was laughing so hard his chest was killing him. "I hope someone puts that on You Tube for me to see",Criss replied catching his breath. Then Criss smelled something. "I smell low mien chicken if I'm right".

"Who wants Chinese" JD called out coming in. "I have chow mien, peking raviolis, and crab rangoons for Christopher"Dimitra said. "I'll go grab some plates" Jenny said. "I have some ice tea in the frig"Criss called out as Jenny brought over the plates. Criss started to feel better as he heard everyone talking and laughing. "Here Criss"JD stated handing him a plate. "Just put it on the coffee table" as he slid down on the floor. Jenny and Dimitra just started laughing as JD pour the tea.

The next day was the day every loyal was waiting for. The day Criss would find out if he had his sight back or not. In his suite Criss was was so nervous and scared at the same time. "Christopher are you ready". "I'm in my room mom"he called out. She came in and saw Criss on his bed with head hung low as he twittled his fingers. "You all right Christopher?" she asked sitting next to him."I'm scared mom I've never felt this scared in my life. I'm afraid that I'll never see you again"he replied as he turned his head to his mother. "Christopher it's all right you will survive this you have to believe that you will" Dimitra said holding her son's hand. "And if I don't I'll have to give up everything I have. Believe, Mindfreak, this life I have here. I'll just be known as the blindfreak instead"Criss remarked. "Christopher when you get those bandages off today the first thing you'll see is me I promise" as she gave Criss a kiss. At her apartment Jenny decided to call Criss to wish him luck today. As they drove to the doctors Criss's phone went off.

"Hello". "Hey Criss I just wanted to wish you good luck today"she remarked. "Thanks Jenny even through this whole mess you've been an awesome friend and I'll never forget what's you've taught me". "Just get your sight back Criss and if you don't well we can train Hammie to be a seeing eye cat" she joked. Criss laughed. "Bye Criss" and hung up. "What's so funny?" JD asked. "Jenny joked if this doesn't work we'll train Hammie to be a seeing eye cat" Criss said with laughter in his voice. Dimitra laughed herself as the thought popped into her head. "Well we're here"JD stated. They all got out and went in. Criss held on his mother's hand. "It's all right Christopher don't be scared". "This reminds me of when Criss had to have a blood test before dad got sick"JD said trying to get their minds off what was happening. "I remember you use to squeeze my hand until it turned purple Christopher" Dimitra remembered. "Or they would wait until I was passed out to draw the blood"Criss replied.

"Christopher the doctor will see you now". "Mom why don't you go in with him?" JD suggested. "All right" and they walked in. Criss sat down in a chair as the doctor came in. "So Christopher how are you?". "Nervous" he remarked. "There's nothing to worry about now let me get some scissors and get those bandages off". "All right I'll just listen to myself sweat"Criss stated as the doctor left. At her apartment Jenny just looked out her window just praying and hoping Criss would have his sight back. Please god don't let Criss go through what my mom went through she prayed. At the doctors the doctor turned down the lights enough for him to see but not to brother Criss's eyes. "All right Chris I want you to close her eyes real tight until I tell you to open". Criss did what the doctor said and shut his eyes. As the doctor cut the bandages Criss prayed. Please god don't take my sight if you give it back to me I swear I'll never take my sight for granted I'll even donate money to Jenny's mom school. "All right Chris blink as hard as you can three times and then tell me if you see anything".

Criss blinked his eye as hard as he could. "It's a little blurry right now"Criss stated. "Your eyes are probably a little dry let me put some drops in". The doctor put some drops in Criss's eyes. "I see something"Criss remarked as the view started to become clearer. "What do you see Christopher?" his mother inquired. Criss blinked a few more times than a smile appeared on Criss's face. "It's you mom I see you" he replied. Tears fell down Dimitra's face. "Now your eyes are you going to be a extremely sensitive to light and your night vision is going to be bad so just take some vitamin A and wear your sun glasses". "Thanks doc you just made my day"Criss replied as he left. "Oh Christopher I knew everything was going to be all right" as she gave him a hug. After that she went into her purse and took out his sunglasses. "I brought them just in case" as Dimitra gave them to him.

Criss smiled as he put them on. In the waiting room JD was flipping through a four year old magazine when they came out. When he saw that Criss wasn't holding on to his mom he knew Criss had his sight. "Congratulation Criss I knew you weren't going to lose your sight" as JD gave him a hug. "Thanks I feel like a weight has been lifted off of me"he stated smiling. "I'm glad your smile is back too" Dimitra replied. Then Criss took out his phone and dialed a number. At her apartment Jenny was pacing when the phone rang. "Hello". "Jenny Criss do you mind coming to The Luxor I have a surprise". "Sure Criss I'll be there" and hung up. When Jenny got to The Luxor Costa and the crew were there. "So do you think Criss has his sight" Gerard suggested. "God only know" Costa replied. "God this like finding out if you won a million dollar lawsuit"Banachek stated. "Or you don't have to pay alimony to your wife anymore because she's getting married" Erich remarked. Everyone looked at Erich for a moment. "I'm so nervous that I found myself pacing at my apartment I never do that"Jenny said.

Everyone watched as a car pulled up but Criss wasn't in it. "God this is nerve wrecking" John stated. "Tell me about it"Costa muttered. Then Jenny felt a hand on her shoulder she turned around and it was Criss but he told her to be quiet. "So what are you guys waiting for?" Criss asked. They all turned around and saw Criss standing there with his sunglasses on. "Oh my god you can see!!" Jenny exclaimed. "I got my sight"he stated. Everyone gave Criss a hug and congratulated him. Costa even gave Criss a big kiss on the check. "So how does it feel to be out of dark Criss?" Jenny asked. "Great that I can finally see my friends and family again" he replied as Jenny smiled. That night everyone was invited to LAX for a celebration of Criss getting his sight back. Inside Criss was enjoying himself dancing up a storm as everyone congratulated Criss. On the dance floor Jenny was dancing with Luke as Criss came over. "May I cut in?" he asked. "Sure cut away"Luke said. "So how does it feel to see again"she asked. "It's feels great to see again I just can't wait to take off these sun glasses it feels weird wearing them inside,"he replied.

"You know what forget what the doctor said". Criss was about to take them off when Jenny stopped him. "Christopher don't do it you could reinjury your eyes. Remember Criss your eyes have been in darkness having that much light is like having one of those strobe lights in your face so obey your doctor"she stated. "All right" as Jenny removed her hands. "You know what why don't we go upstairs so I can finally take these glasses off"Criss suggested.

They both left the party and went upstairs. After Jenny lowered the lights a little Criss took off his glasses. "That's better"he remarked. Jenny walked over to Criss and gave him a kiss. "It's good to see your eyes again I missed them"she stated as Criss smiled. Criss went over to his stereo and turned on the radio as LEE ANN RIMES HOW DO I LIVE played.

":mad:!!" as he closed his eyes. Jenny grabbed his sunglasses and put them on him. "Did I do something wrong?". Coming around the corner was Costa. "Yea you almost sent me back to the doctor why in the hell did you do that!!" Criss replied with anger. "Criss calm down it was an accident"Jenny replied. "I didn't know you were up here I came up to feed Hammie". "Just get out Costa all right!" and Costa left. "Criss that wasn't nice". Criss looked at Jenny than just walked into his room slamming the door behind him.

The next morning Jenny was working on some stuff with Luke. "So how did last night go with you and Criss?"he asked. "It was good until Costa came up and turned up the lights while Criss had his glasses off" Jenny replied. "Costa always had bad sense of timing" Luke said. "Well I'm going to run these over to Felix"she remarked and left. A few minutes Criss walked in a little surprised that it was just him and Luke. "Hey Criss how are you?". "Better I've never seen the production office this quiet"he replied. "JD gave everyone the day off so it's just me and Jenny in the office"Luke remarked. "Where is she?". "She ran up some stuff to Felix and I have to see if those shirts for the Believe store came in. See yea later" and Luke left. Criss sat down at his desk and looked over a few things when he saw a DVD on the table.

Since it wasn't labeled Criss put it in the player. He turned it on and it was Jenny's performance that security had caught. JD's right she's awesome Criss thought. After he finished it Jenny came in. "Hey Mindfreak" she said. "Hey Jenny I just finished watching your performance on my stage"he stated. Jenny blushed. "I thought JD destroyed that DVD"she replied. "Jenny I got to say your uncle taught you well and that coat levitation is cool". Jenny smiled. "But I did enjoy you turning that dove into my cat". "Hammie loved it too"Jenny said with a chuckle. Then JD walked in. "I'll see you later Criss" and walked out. "What was that about?"he asked. "Nothing" Criss remarked. In the Believe theater Jenny was working on a trick one thing she didn't know is that Criss was watching her. After Jenny finished an idea popped into Criss's head. Around seven that night Jenny was getting ready to leave for the night when she noticed a crowd around the Believe store. "What's Criss up to now" she inquired as she came out. At the store Criss was doing a demonstration. Jenny watched as Criss made three predictions about two different people. Jenny applauded with the rest of the crowd.

"Before we end this I would like to make an announcement,"he called out. "Since my eye sight isn't ready for the lights of Believe yet I've decided to have a friend of mine do an act in my theater until my eyes are better". Don't tell me Carrot top is taking over Jenny thought with a giggle. "I'll give you a taste of the magician". Criss moved back and behind him was a TV and playing was the act Jenny did. Jenny's mouth fell to the ground and left before Criss saw her. After that Criss was going over to LAX when his phone rang. "Hello". "Angel it's Penn we need to talk right now"he replied. "All right" and left. When he got to Penn and Teller’s theater Jenny was sitting on the stage with Penn sitting next to her. "What's going on?" he asked surprised to see Jenny there. Jenny got up and walked up to Criss and slapped him. "What was that for?"Criss asked. "That's for showing that DVD to your fans Criss and telling them I'm temporally taking over for you when you didn't talk to me about it"Jenny replied.

"I wanted to surprise you I thought you'd be happy for this opportunity" Criss stated. "Christopher have you ever thought why Jenny does her magic when nobody is around it's because Jenny has a terrible case of stage fright"Penn remarked. "Stage fright". "The last time I tried to do my act in front of people I froze and everything I knew left my head"Jenny said looking at Criss. Criss frelt bad as he walked over to her and sat next to her. "I'm sorry I should of talked to you before I announced this". "What are you going to do now Criss if I go on that stage with people watching me I'm going to freeze and go blank" she remarked. "We'll figure something out" as Criss hugged her.

The next day Jenny came into work and saw the production office was quiet. "This is a first"she said. Then she saw a note on the door . MEET ME IN BELIEVE AT NINE JENNY. She looked at the clock and saw she had enough time to grab a bite. In the Believe theater Criss was sitting on-stage. He took off his sunglasses and stood on the dim light stage. Criss did a few tricks but after he was done he heard clapping. "Who's there" he called out looking around. Coming from the back with a bottle of soda was Jenny. "Nice trick Criss". "You can do better"he stated stepping back. "Just give me a second Mindfreak" and went to the back. When she came back Debbie Gibson One step head started to play. Criss started to laugh. Jenny took off her shoes and they started to walk with out anybody in them

Criss clapped as Jenny put back on the shoes. Criss picked up her bottle and started to twisted the bottle. Jenny's mouth fell to the floor as Criss showed her the bottle. Jenny got an idea and went to the back as the song still played.

She came back with a sheet. She put it around Criss's neck and when she pulled it off Criss's handcuff necklace was gone. "Hey!!" he declared. Jenny went over criss's 'cutting board' on stage and got on it. She put the cloth over her and she was gone. "What the-". Criss went over and threw the cloth on the ground. As he looked around and under the cloth started to raise. Jenny appeared wearing Criss's necklace and one of his coats. "You like" she remarked as Criss started to applauded. All of a sudden Jenny heard applauding. Criss put on his glasses and turned on the house light. Sitting in a row was the crew, Dimitra, and Penn. "You see you can perform with an audience". "I thought I smelled JD's cologne. Thanks Criss"Jenny remarked as she gave Criss a hug.

As the days passed Criss helped Jenny with her act and her stage fright. On the day of the show Criss decided to honor his promise that he made to himself. In his penthouse Criss was combing his hair when a knock came to the door. "Come in"Criss called out and Jenny came in. "Hey Criss you ready?". "We have to make a quick stop at the production office first"Criss remarked when he came out. "You look nice". Criss decided to wear a nice suit. "I thought I should dress nice"he said. Jenny smiled. "Come on GQ" as Criss laughed. Downstairs JD was waiting for them. "Thanks for driving us JD" Criss remarked. "I would of if I knew how to drive stick"Jenny stated as they went into the production office. Criss sat down at his desk and unlocked a drawer. "Criss come on we have a lot to do before Jenny's show tonight". "Will you calm down let me just finish this and we'll go," as he put the book back into the drawer and locked it. "All right let's go" and they left. When they got to the school the principal met them outside.

"Mr. Cruise nice to see you again"Jenny remarked shaking his hand. "Nice to see you too Jenny and this must be Christopher" as Criss shook his hand. "Nice to meet you". "Well let me show you around" and they went in. Criss was impressed at some of the stuff they had. "This is amazing"Criss replied. "Well we don't look at blindness as a disability it's another way of learning stuff"he remarked. They got to the auditorium the place was packed with people and students. "Criss what's going on?"JD asked. "Just sit and watch"Criss remarked as he went up on the stage. "Do you know what Criss is doing?"Jenny asked JD. JD shrugged his shoulder as Criss got up on-stage. "Thank you Mr. Cruise when I temporarily lost my sight I was scared that I wasn’t going to get it back, but my friend Jenny taught me stuff that made me see that I could still do what I love with a little help. When I went to the doctor to see if my sight came back I made a promise that if I got it back that I would donate money to this school and that's what I'm doing here today".

Jenny couldn't believe it as Criss gave the check to Mr. Cruise. "Thank you Mr. Sarantakos this money will go to some great program and supplies we need". That night Jenny was in Criss's dressing room getting ready when a knock came to the door. She opened the door and Criss was standing there. "You ready?" he asked. "I just wish my mom could see me doing my magic” Jenny remarked. "She probably wishes the same thing"Criss stated. "Thanks again for letting me do my magic show here". "Think of it as pay back for helping me"he replied and gave Jenny a hug. When Jenny walked to the stage she saw her uncle and the crew. Music started to play and Jenny took a wallet from her pocket. "Before I start this I just want to thank Criss for letting me use his wallet. When Criss heard that he checked his pocket. I'm going to kill Penn for showing her that trick Criss thought as Jenny turned the wallet into a dove.
