This is one of my favorite stories that I've writen on the old site



It was a day like any other expect that I was getting ready for my month long vacation to Las Vegas. It took two years of working double overtimes, saving cans and bottles, and pinching every penny untill they had my fingerprint on it but I got it. As I packed my phone rang and it was my friend. "Lousie I was wondering when you're leaving?". "In a few minutes I can't wait I got a room at The Luxor and tickets to Believe I just hope I get to meet Criss Angel"I replied. "You will call me when you get back I want details if you did meet the Mindfreak" and hung up. A horn honked and I saw a taxi downstairs. Las Vegas here I come. I grabbed my purse, my tickets, and my luggage and walked out. The flight was uneventful but when I got in the place was a buzz with cops every where. I went over to a news stand to grab a paper when I looked and saw Criss on the television.

MASTER ILLUSIONIST CRISS ANGEL SEEN HERE AT HIS OPENING OF BELIEVE HAS DISAPPEARED. HIS BROTHER JD CALLED POLICE EARLY THIS MORNING WHEN HE DIDN'T SHOW UP FOR A MORNING MEETING. POLICE THINK IT MIGHT BE A KIDNAPPING OR SOMETHING ELSE. MORE ON THIS STORY AS IT DEVELOPS.

"Oh my god!!," as I put the paper down. Then my phone went off. "Hello"I said. "Help me!!" someone yelled. I knew it was Criss Angel. "Criss"I stated. "If you do exactually what I say Criss Angel will live if not he dies"a voice said. I looked around at everyone it seem like everyone including the cops had a cell phone. "Why me?"I asked. "Just got to your hotel and you'll receive your instructions" and the line went dead. When I got to The Luxor the place was crawling with police talking to everyone. After I check in I went pass the production office even thou the windows were covered the door was open a crack and I saw Criss's mom talking to the cops with JD nexts to her. She's probably in hell right now not knowing if her youngest son is dead or alive I thought

When I got to my room I wonder why this guys wanted me involved I didn't know Criss or his family just by what I've learned from his book. I wanted to go downstairs to talk to the cops but I didn't think they'd believe me thinking I was a nut case. I decided to go down to the shops and look around. As I walked around in the lobby I saw JD outside wiping away tears from his face. He's probably going through the same thing his mother's going through and I don't blame them one bit. I work for The New Hampshire Law enforcement looking for missing people and hikers. Maybe that's why this stranger called me to involve me in his game. I looked at the shirts and other stuffs when my phone went off. "Hello". "GET ME OUT OF HERE!!" the voice screamed. "Criss"I muttered. "Listen well because I will only repeat this once I want you to go up to Criss's suite and take his computer" the voice ordered

"I-I-can't he's on a floor that nobody can go up unless you're with Criss" I explained. "NO NO NOT THAT!!!"Criss yelled. "You will get me his computer or The Mindfreak will die. I'll give you untill seven tonight" and hung up. I looked at the clock and saw it was three. I had four hours to figure out how to get up to Criss's room and grab his computer with out anyone noticing me.

After I got that phone call I went outside. I had no clue how to get up to Criss's floor with out having security wondering why I'm up here and sneak Criss's lap top out of his room. "Why me in all days I wind up being involved with the guy who wants something from Criss so bad that he/she is willing to kidnap Criss and involve me"I muttered. When I came back in my phone rang again. "Yes". "I forgot to tell you at the front desk is envelope for you pick it up and do everything the note sayes times ticking" and the person hung up. I walked over to the front desk. "Excuse me do you anything for Lousie Macy?"I asked. "Hold on" as she looked. "Oh yes this was just dropped a few second ago"she replied. "Thanks"I stated. I opened the envelope and in it was a note and a room key. The note just read:


THE KEY WILL GET YOU INTO CRISS'S ROOM. WHEN YOU FINALLY GET HIS COMPUTER DROP IT OFF AT 34 WEST STREET NEAR THE MIRAGE. YOU INVOLVE THE COPS IN ANY WAY THE BELOVED MINDFREAK WILL DIE A HORRIBLE DEATH AND IT WILL BE YOUR FAULT. TIME'S A WASTING!!!


I looked on the back and it had four numbers on it. "1219"I read. I knew that was the month and the day Criss was born. I went over to the elevator and got in but my heart was racing. The door was about to shut when JD and Dimitra walked in. I don't think they even realized I was in there. "Who would do such a thing and kidnap Christopher for. He has done nothing to anyone" as she wiped the tears coming down. "Mom the police have everyone in Las Vegas looking for Criss you shouldn't get upset"JD said . "Upset JD my youngest child was taking from his room under force and nobody knows where and why. I just want Christopher back" as she started to cry. JD held his mother close as they got off. After the door closed I stopped the elevator. I needed a moment to think. If I didn't get what this person wanted I'd be responisible for killing Criss Angel but what if this person is a revial magician that wants Criss's secrets that he probably has on his computer.

I knew what I had to do even thou I was putting Criss's life on the line I had to involve Criss's family. I was about to start up the elevator when my phone beeped. I saw I had video message so I played it. I saw it was Criss tied to a chair. Criss was screaming in pain. The camera showed the chair was set up to receive electrial volts. "Oh my god!!" as I put my hand over my mouth. The camera was put down and a person with a ski mask and dressed in black came into view. He had a vail of something and a syringe. I notcied the guy had brass knuckles on both his hands. I watched as the guy started to hurt Criss to point where it could be labeled as torture. The taste of bile came into my mouth as the person took the syringe and filled it up. He stuck Criss with it and Criss went limp. "This is just a taste of what Criss will go through if you don't bring me his computer time's a wasting Lousie" and the video ended.

I felt so sick as the video repeated in my mind to the point where I went to the corner of the elevator and threw up. I wiped my mouth. "You all right?"A voice asked. I turned around and saw it was JD. I didn't know what to say as the taste of vomit came up again. I ran out and threw up again in a trash can. After I finished JD came over and took me to his room. In his room his mother was sitting down. "Come on you're going to be just fine" as JD helped me in. "JD what's going on?" his mother asked getting up. "I found her in the elevator vomiting she looked like she was about to collasped" as I sat down. "T-h-anks" I mumbled as Dimitra got a wet cloth. "Here wipe your mouth dear". I wiped my mouth as JD got me a cup of water. "Here do you need a doctor or something?" JD asked.

I looked at them and took out my phone. "Check out the video message" I stated. JD got up and took a look at it. Dimitra looked at her son as the color left his face. "What is it JD?" she asked. "It's Criss and it's something I suggested you don't watch mom. How did you get this?"JD asked. "Whoever has Christopher involved me why I don't know but whoever sent me that wants Christopher's laptop and if I don't get for him he may do something even worse than what he sent me"I replied. "He's not going to be able to get into it Criss put a password protection on it when one of his crew member used it to surf some triple X sites"JD stated sitting down. I went into my pocket and took out the note and the pass key the person sent me.

"There's four numbers on the back I think they're the pass word"I stated. JD looked at the pass key and took out the one he kept with him just in case of emergency. "It's the same key to Criss's suite but how did this person get it?"JD inquired. "JD does everyone on Criss's crew have a key to his suite?"I asked. "Only his fam-oh my god". "What JD?"his mother inquired. "A few weeks ago Costa's wallet got lifted and in it was the pass key. Criss made sure we all got new pass keys so his room wouldn't be robbed. Whoever lifted Costa's wallet is probably the one who sent this stuff to her" JD remarked. Then my phone rang. I told them to be quiet as I picked it up. "Hello". "Don't tell you haven't gotten the computer". "I'm at his room but the key won't work he must of had new pass key made or something"I replied.

I heard the guy swearing. "You lied to me!!". ":mad: off!!"I heard Criss yelled than I heard Criss scream and the phone went dead. Chills went down my spine as I looked at JD and Dimitra wondering if I just sent Criss to meet his father. I dropped the phone and sat down before JD had to catch me from falling to the floor. "You all right?" JD asked. "I-I-I heard him swearing than Criss telling him to how can I put this nicely". "Just say it I don't mind I've heard my boys swear"Dimitra said. ":mad: off than I heard Criss scream. I'm afraid I may of-". Then the phone beeped and saw I got another video. I was afraid to open it. I took a breath and played it. It showed Criss still in the chair but he wasn't tied anymore but Criss's hands were in the same position. The angle got closer and saw why. I stopped the video as I put my hand over my mouth. "What's wrong is he dead?" Dimitra inquired as I tried to not to throw up again. "What's wrong?" JD inquired. I gave JD my phone and showed him as I got up. "Oh my god this guy is sadistic!!"JD replied.

"What is it JD may I see it?" Dimitra asked. "I wouldn't recommended it mom. Seriously this guy is bordering on torture"JD replied as he played the rest of the video. "JD we have to show the cops these videos and tell them about me". JD closed the phone and sat down. "He left a message saying that if you go to the cops Criss is definitely going to meet dad"JD replied. "What do we do now?"I asked. "The only I can think of is getting Criss's computer and see if we can figure out what this person wants"JD stated. "Well let's get it"Dimitra stated. "One problem I'm not as computer incline as Costa and Criss are. Dimitra just introduce me to the web"JD stated . I tried not to laugh. "Than bring it to me I'm really computer inclined"I replied. I'm so computer incline whenever the computers doesn't work in the office they always call me for help. "All right" and JD left as I sat with Dimitra.

After JD came back with the computer I started it up and saw it was password protected but when I put in 1219 it started up. "All right I'm in let's see appointments, phone numbers Check that out later. Emails let me check that". I opened it up and saw Criss had some emails from a lot of girls, some from his neice Dimi, but there was one that had an attachement to it. "JD does the name Robert Masion mean anything?"I inquired. "Yea he was a part of Criss's crew when Criss did his broadway show. Why?"JD inquired. "He sent Criss an email with an attachement to it" as I opened it. It read:

HEY CRISS CLEANING OUT THE ATTIC AND FOUND SOME PICTURES FROM YOUR NEW YORK DAYS HOPE IT BRINGS BACK MEMORIES.

I opened the attachement and looked at some of the pictures but there was one that caught my attention it was Criss with a blonde hair woman and on Criss's other side was a guy. "JD do you know these two people?" pointing to the picture. "Yea they do it's just not coming to me"he replied. "Do you know Dimitra?" I asked showing her the pictures. "No I don't Lousie"she replied. "What about Costa do you think he may know?". "I don't know"JD remarked. "Where is Costa anyway?"Dimitra asked. "New York it is his high school reunion he didn't want to go but Criss made him go. I'll give him a call," JD stated and called Costa but it went to voice mail. "Costa it's JD call me back" and hung up. "I guess Costa turned off his phone" Dimitra remarked. Then my phone beeped. I saw it was another video. "Another video"I remarked and played it. This one was different it looked like two people were fighting and the black ski mask person was winning throwing the other person around like a rag doll.

Then the ski mask guy grabbed a baseball bat and hit the other person like his head was baseball heading for the bleachers. "Ouch!!"I declared. "What is it?"JD asked. "It looks like a fight between the person who kidnapped Criss and another person I can't make out the other person"I replied showing JD. All of a sudden JD went white. "It's Costa the person is fighting Costa!!!". JD was right the camera got closer and it was Costa on the floor bleeding. "See what happens when someone doesn't play by the rules" the person stated

After we viewed the video JD's phone rang and saw it was a hospital in New York. "I have an idea why don't you and I go for a walk and clear our minds for a while" I suggested to Dimitra. "I don't know". "Mom staying inside isn't going to help if I get any info I'll call you"JD replied. "All right" and we left. We walked around The Luxor and talked. "In all the confusion I never got your name dear" Dimitra stated. "Lousia but people call me Lousie"I replied. "Nice to meet you do you live in Vegas?". "No I'm here on vacation and I have no clue why I'm involved in this" I stated. "Where are you from?"she asked. For some reason I felt comfortable talking to Dimitra it was like talking to my mom. "New Hampshire but I was born and raised in New York"I replied. "I thought I heard a bit of a New York accent" as I smiled.

We saw a deli and decided to get something to eat. We sat down and Dimitra noticed my necklace. "That's a beautiful necklace". It was a heart that one side with pearls and another side had emeralds. "I had it made after my mom passed away" I replied as I took it off to let Dimitra look at it. "If you don't mind me asking what happened to your mom?". "She died of breast cancer when I was ten" I replied. "And the other side is your dad". "Yea I lost my dad on 9/11 he was in the first tower. After I lost my dad I just had to get out of New York so I moved to New Hampshire and I haven't been back since than"I replied. "I know I lost my husband to cancer if I didn't have my boys I don't know what would of happened"she said.

"Yea since I was an only child I didn't have what you had with JD, Costa, and Christopher"I stated. "Tell me something those videos you got how bad were they?". "Very bad for some reason that person is torturing Criss he even used a demostration that went bad on Criss"I stated. "It was the nail gun catch". "Yea believe me Dimitra it's not something I want you to picture"I replied. After we finished our lunch we went back to the room. When we got there two cops were there and I knew one of them.

"Lousia Macy what are you doing here?". "Stella what are you doing here the last time I saw you is when we worked that case in The Bronx in '98"I remarked. "Do you have any information on my son Christopher?" Dimitra asked. "We might have a clue but first I have to see those videos you were sent by the person" another officer replied. "Here you go it's pretty distrubing" I said sitting nexts to Dimitra. "So Mac do you think it's him?"Stella stated. "Maybe but why would he be sending this stuff to your friend for?" he asked as they watched the video. "Oh my god this is bordering on torture Mac!!". "So officer Taylor who do you think kidnapped my brother and is doing this to him?"JD asked. "Did this person ask for money?" he asked as Mac gave me my phone.

"Just for my brother's computers but we don't know why"JD remarked. "Well whoever took Criss also attacked your brother in New York"Mac replied. "But what I don't understand is why this guy involved me I don't know these people expect what I've learn from watching Mindfreak and from Criss's book". "Do the names Vienaa Hyatt or Austion Cannon mean anything to any of you?"Stella asked. "Lousie those pictures that were sent to Criss bring them up,"JD said. I went over to Criss's computer and brought up the pictures. "Are these the people you're talking about"JD inquired showing them. Mac and Stella looked at the picture. "Mac that's Vienna Hyatt on the left and Austin Cannon on the right. This guys knew Vienna and Austin" Stella stated. "Mr Sarantakos how old are these pictures?"Mac inquired. "2002 in the background is the cake we had made when my brother's broadway show became a hit" JD replied. I took a better look at the picture.

"Oh my god I remember why they looked fimilar to me they were killed by that magician Luke Blade a few years ago but that guy is a maxium securcity mental ward in Albany New York"I stated. "Well a few weeks ago the mental ward had a riot and in the chaos Luke Blade escaped"Mac remarked. "You think that mental case kidnapped Criss and attacked my brother in New York this makes no sense what so ever". "JD your brother Costa he introduce Vienna and Austin to Christopher"Dimitra stated. Then my phone went off. I opened it. "Hello". "I guess you probably know who I am". "Yes Luke and we know why you attacked Costa he introudced Vienna and Austin to Criss" I replied looking at Mac and Stella.

"Well what you didn't know is that Costa was the one who talked Vienna into selling my secrets to the tabloid. I made sure he never forgot me and what he did to me and my family"he replied. "Luke why did you involve me that's the only thing all of us don't understand"I asked. "You don't remember Lousia"he said. "Remember what?". "July 4 2002 think about that" and he hung up. "What did he say?"Stella inquired. "He mention July 4 2002"I remarked still confused.

That night I laid in my room trying to figure out why this crazed magician involved me and why July 4 2002 meant something to me. I raked my brain but the only thing I could remember is coming back to New York to enjoy the fireworks it was the only things next to watching the ball drop in Times squares I'd go back to New York for. I went to my mini fridge and grabbed a soda who cares if it was ten bucks I should enjoy something out of this strange start to my vacation. I didn't sleep much that night my mind kept playing the imagine of Criss being tortured to the point where I woke up in a sweat that soaked my shirt and the bed sheets. I decided to get up and take a shower. As I let the water warm up not in a mood for a cold shower I heard a door open. "Hello"I called out.

Nobody answered. I turned off the water and grabbed a robe. I opened the door quietly and came out. I came out and I saw someone going through my luggage. "Hey!!" I called out. The person turned around and it was the person from the video. I saw he had my necklace in his head. He started to walk over to me but I ran into the bathroom. When I got to the bathroom I tried to shut the door but his arm was in the way. All of a sudden instinct took over and I took his arm and bit him. The guy screamed and pulled away. I shut the door and locked it. I turneed around and saw in his retreat he dropped my necklace. In Criss's suite Stella and Mac were going over the place while JD watched. "Has anything been touched or taken out since your brother's kidnapping?"Mac asked JD.

"Just his cat Hammie, my daughter's watching him at our house but everything else is the same as I found it that day"JD replied. "Just tell us what happened?" Stella said. "Well I came to get my brother because he's notorious for sleeping late but when the elevator doors open I saw Hammie, my brother's cat, at the elevator's door. I knew right there something was wrong because Hammie isn't suppose to leave my brother's suite unless someone brings him down. I picked up Hammie and went to the door. I banged on the door but when Christopher didn't answer I used the pass key he gave us. I opened the door and this what I found. After I saw this I checked around thinking that maybe Criss was hiding from an intruder it wasn't until I saw the blood drops that I called the police"JD replied. "They tested the blood and it was AB double negative extremely rare blood type and your brothers" Stella replied.

"Yea". "Does your brother have any enemies?"Mac asked. "Not that I know of"JD remarked. Then Stella's phone went off. "Hello-slow down Louise what happened-all right," and hung up. "That was just Louise someone broke into her room trying to steal a necklace of hers"she said. "Is she all right?"JD asked. "Yea but you're going to love this she bit the guy enough to have a piece of skin ripped from him. I'm going to collect it" and Stella left.

When Stella got to my room I was sitting on my bed holding a napkin in my hands. "You all right?" she asked. "Just shaken up I just don't understand why this guy wanted my necklace"I remarked as Stella put on some gloves. "Maybe it was just a robbery do you have that skin?"she asked. "When I saw it in my teeth I use the napkin and took it out before it came lose and got into my system"I replied giving her the napkin. "Did you get a look at him?". "No but Stella it had to be Blade the only thing I saw were the eyes and it was the same eyes I saw in those videos I'll never forget those eyes"I stated shaking a little. Then my phone beeped again. "Oh god what does he want now" as I picked up the phone. It was another video and it was Criss still in the chair and the nails were still in his hands.

Then Luke came out. "Hi everyone since I didn't get what I wanted Criss here will pay the price". He went over to Criss with a small bottle and a syringe. The camera got closer to the bottle and I saw what it was. "Oh my god I know that stuff it will slow your heart rate to the point where you can be put into cardic arrest," I stated. I saw Blade filled the syringe untill it had a lethal dose. "He's going to kill Criss!!". Before Blade could give Criss the dose Criss broke the chair's right arm and hit Blade with it. "All right Angel!"I called out. Blade got up as he wiped blood from his mouth. Criss had the look of satisifaction on his face. "All right Angel I see we're going to take this to another level". Then another person came from the back of the camera and saw he had something in his hand. I don't know what he did with it but Criss screamed his lungs out than the video stopped.

"Was that-". "An 18 inch screwdriver the same that Criss walked on. He injuried his foot because of that. I think I know where he put it. Oh my god he uses some of Criss's tricks to torture him" I replied. "What do you mean?"Stella asked as I got up. "The electrity was from his first season, The nails was from his ill fated nail gun catch from season four, the screwdriver was from season three" I remarked. "And Luke Blade trying to stop Criss's heart". "I can't remember the season but it was from a show that was called My Secret Cabaret but Criss did that infront of nurses just incase he couldn't bring himself back"I reamrked. "So you know a lot of Criss's illusions and tricks?" Stella stated. "Demostration Criss calls them demostrations yea I know most of them Luke even killed-". I stopped midsentence. "Lousie what?". "My mom she was born on July fourth and every year I'd come back and put a pink rose on her grave but one year something was different". "What was different?" she asked. "I was pregnant"I remarked

"Why don't you get dressed and I'll get this skin analysed"Stella remarked. After she left memories of that day came back to haunt me. I went to my bag and took out an envelope. It was addressed to me with no forwarding address. I had all ready opened it but I opened it again and it was a bank check for a thousands dollars with a little note that said: I'm sorry for what I did and I hope that you can forgive me for killing your child that afternoon. In the production office JD was on the phone. "I told you that you were going to be in trouble for talking that woman into selling that guy's secrets Costa. No they haven't found Criss yet but he sends this woman videos of him torturing Criss this guy is sadistic and he wants Criss to suffer for some reason. I'll call you later" and hung up. A knock came to the door and JD saw it was me. "Come on in Louise" and I opened the door. "I just wanted to see how you and your mother were"I stated. "Good my mom went back to New York to see how Costa was. Sit down" and I did. "I thought I should tell you I got another video from Luke and I figured out something"I stated. "What's that?" he asked.

"He's using Criss demonstrations against him. The electricity was from season one, the nail gun, season four, and the two he used in the video" as I showed JD. "But why is the question Criss never knew of this Luke Blade guy only Costa knew him through Vienna"JD stated. "I can't figure it out either but someone else is involved helping Luke Blade or this person is using Luke for some reason"I said. After I finished talking to JD I decided to get something to eat but I bumped into detective Taylor. "Louisa just the person I wanted to talk to". "Do you mind talking over some burger and fries if I don't get something into my system soon I'm going to fall over"I replied. "No" and we went to the restaurant

We sat down and talked "So what do you want to know?"I asked. "Well the skin came to back to Fredrick Post does that name sound fimilar"he asked. "No I'm sorry never heard of the man"I replied taking a drink of water. "I talked to Stella and she informed me why July fourth means something to you it's your mother's birthday but according to a police report filed you were hit full on by a car suffering internal injuries and the still birth of a baby you named Zack"he replied. "Yea I was coming out of the cemetery when this car came right at me. I felt the car hit me and when I woke up I was in the hospital. I asked the nurse what happened and if my child was all right she said nothing and went to get the doctor. The doctor sat down and told me that because of the injuries they had to delivery my son but he took the most of the impact and died" as I wiped a tear away.

"Did you ever find out who hit you?". "The only thing I remember is that he is male had long jet black hair in a pony tail, but officer Taylor I did get something from the person that hit me," and showed him the check. "A thousand dollars and a note: I'm sorry for what I did and I hope that you can forgive me for killing your child that afternoon. No return address" Taylor said. "I was wondering if you could find out who it is I don't want his money I just want to tell him that I forgive him. It was an accident that's all"I requested. "I'll see what I can do. One question did you know the father of Zack". "No I-I- excuse me" and left. I ran out of there fast and went outside. I couldn't even say the word. I thought I buried this but for some reason it's being dug up. I wiped the tears from my face as my phone rang again. "Hello"I remarked. "Lousie are you all right I found out last night that Criss Angel was kidnapped". "Connie you won't believe this but I'm involved in it" I stated.

"But they say that a man by the name of Luke Blade is involved his prints were found in Criss's room and one Fredrick Post wait a minute isn't that the guy who-". "Yea I thought I would never hear that name again"I remarked. "So how did you get involved in it?"she asked. "Luke Blade wanted me to take Criss's computer but when I was ready to tell his brother JD and his mother he sent me a video of him hurting Criss. Connie it was so sadstic it was bordering on torture it made me throw up twice. Connie he even put nail gun into Criss's hands. Connie do you think I should reveal my past to these officers".

"If it would help bring Criss back I would you maybe the missing link to this whole puzzle"she remarked. "Thanks Connie I'll talk to you later"I stated and hung up. I took a breath and dialed Stella. "Louise where are you?"she asked. "Stella can you get your partner Mac and JD together I think I'm sort of the missing piece of the puzzle"I replied. "Sure"she remarked and hung up. When I came back in I went to the production office and sat down. I sat there until JD, Stella and Mac walked in. "What's going on Louise?" Stella asked. "Mac said you might be the missing piece to this puzzle"JD stated leaning against the desk. "It has to do with me. I realized it when Stella told me the guy I bit wasn't Luke Blade it was a person named Fredrick Post. Officer Taylor I lied to you I knew Fred Post he was Zack's father"I remarked. "So you dated this guy who has my brother!"JD exclaimed. "No Fred Post assaulted me and few other women. I was the only one with proof that Fred attacked me".

"Zack was the proof he got you pregnant"Mac replied. "They took a bit of blood from the placenta and the DNA profile came up that Fred was the father. "Because your brother was the one who hit Louise making her lose the baby" Mac stated. "What are you talking about?"JD asked standing up. "I dusted the check Louise gave me and got three prints. I ran them and Pyrotechnic license for one Christopher Sarantakos came up"Mac stated. "I guess Fred is using Luke some how to get back at Criss for killing Zack that day in July"I replied wiping the tears away. "Did you say July?"JD inquired. "Yea why JD?" I inquired. JD went to Criss's desk and took out a book. "How much was the check for?"JD asked Mac. "A thousand dollars"Mac replied. "I saw Criss writing out that check" he remarked.

(FlashBack) "Criss why are you writing out a thousand dollar check for?". "It's companion money I owe it to someone I did something wrong long ago in July and I want to send her this maybe it will ease my conscious as well". (Present Time) "I never understood until now why he did that"JD replied. "Well now that we know why we just got to figure out where Luke is keeping Criss and fast" Stella said. After the air was cleared I decided to go for a walk. In the production office JD was on the phone with his mom. "Mom this is getting strange I just found out why Louise is involved". "It was that car accident Christopher had in the cemetery "she said. "Yea I remember Costa telling me that Criss wasn't looking and hit a pregnant woman killing her unborn child" JD stated. "Christopher was so upset at himself even thou his license was suspended for two years he never got over the guilt for killing that child,"his mother remarked.

"Some people take guilt different ways". "Mom Louise was that woman Criss hit" JD said. "Are you serious?". "Yea Criss even sent her a check for a thousand dollars. She thinks that the man who's helping Luke Blade is getting back at Criss for killing his son"JD remarked. Then JD's phone beeped and saw he had a video message. In Sunset Park I was sitting on a bench when my phone beeped. I saw I had a video message. JD told his mother he'd call her back.

"Where do you think they buried him?"Stella asked. "The warehouse I mean Criss's warehouse. I remember when Criss did that thing with Ted Nugent I saw train tracks and the graffiti on the back of the warehouse. When I watched the video I heard the train and when Fred put his head down I saw the same graffiti on the wall" I remarked. "Are you sure Criss had that painted over like six months ago"JD replied. "JD, my cousin's a graffiti artist and if you tag a celebrity’s place like a warehouse or place of business they consider that an honor and they will keep tagging it no matter how many times they paint it over "I remarked. "I'll call the Las Vegas police and see if we can get some people to help"Taylor suggested. Just than we heard thunder. I ran to the door and saw outside was dark as night. I walked out as the wind was blowing my brown hair. "Oh god!!" when I saw the dark clouds rumbling. Stella, Mac, and JD came out as well.

"It's a thunder storm and it's going to be a downpour. We can't wait for those people we have to go to the warehouse before this storm hits!" I remarked. "She's right with what Criss's body has gone through he's probably so weak he won't be able to survive the weight of the wet dirt on the box" Stella added. "We'll take my brother's hummer let's go" and we all got in. As JD drove there I prayed to my parents telling them to hold off on the storm for Criss. When we got to the warehouse I got out first and went to the back. I could still hear the rumble of the thunder as I looked for anything out of place even foot prints. "Find anything"JD called out. Come on Louisa you've found a group of hikers lost in the New Hampshire wilderness in the worst rain storm in New Hampshire history once I thought. I pulled out my phone and took a look at the video one more time as I felt a rain drop. I ran to where the ramp is and saw the soil was patted down. I started to dig until I saw the box. "JD Stella Taylor I found the coffin!!"I yelled as the rain started to pour.

Stella and I started to dig with shovels that JD gave us. When we cleared most of the dirt away we saw there was lock on it. "Christopher are you in there?"JD yelled. We hear nothing. "I can't shoot it open I may hit Criss"Taylor said. I looked at the lock. "JD where's Criss's lock picking stuff?"I asked. "I'll get them" and ran into the warehouse. "Are you sure you can do it"Stella inquired. "Yea in my misspent youth I was known for picking locks"I replied. "Here are his tools" he said. I looked at them and picked the tool I needed. Come on Criss hold on. Then I heard the lock pop. "GOT IT" I yelled. Taylor and JD opened the box and saw it was Criss battered, beaten, and barely breathing. Taylor checked for a pulse. "It's weak but he's got a pulse" as Stella called for an ambulance. I sat down as I looked at everyone surrounding Criss. Now we just need to find Luke and Fred I thought wiping my rain soaked hair from my face.

At the hospital JD waited for some information on Criss and since Taylor and Stella stayed at the site I decided to go with JD. "God I wish they would tell me something anything"JD stated pacing. "I'll see if they'll give me any information"I remarked and went to find a nurse. I went into the ER and found Criss. He looked pretty bad, both of his hands were wrapped up, the bottom of his feet had second degree burns on them. I also saw the wound where they stabbed Criss with the screwdriver. He still wasn't awake. I looked at the chart. Half the stuff I couldn't understand so I took out my phone and called my friend George who is an intern at a hospital in Boston. "This better be good" he mumbled.

I must of woken him up. "Nice way to say hello George"I stated. "Louisa how's your vacation going"he asked sitting up. "Not bad considering what I got involved in but I need your medical knowledge first"I said. "Hit me"he replied. "All right what is lymographic*?" I asked hoping I pronounced it correctly. "It's a drug that causes your blood pressure to drop. It's been banned from the Unitied States since 1970". "Hydosymation*". "It's a anti seizure medication but it's also use for sedation"he remarked. "No" Criss mumbled. "One more and I'll let you get back to whatever you were doing Sentary*". "That's a drug that if used in large dosages can give a person amnesia. Anything else" he replied. "No. Thanks George"I stated and hung up. I put the chart back and went over to Criss. I just stared at Criss as he just layed there. "Criss if you can hear me I'll make Blade and Post pay dearly for what they did to you. You didn't deserve to be treated like this because of a mistake seven years ago"I said.

I took off my necklace and put it on Criss. "This has brought me good luck and I think you need it". I gave Criss a kiss and left. When I got back Stella was back. "What did you find out?"JD asked. "The nail gun wounds and the stab wound from the screw driver are infected so he's on heavy duty antibodics and he has extremely high fever that they're trying to lower"I remarked. "Do you think Criss will remember anything?" Stella inquired. "Maybe bits and peices I looked at his chart Criss was giving a drug called Sentary* if given in large dosage can cause amnesia"I stated. "I need to call my mother" and JD left. "Stella do you think Fred and Blade are done with what they started?". "I don't know Lousie maybe you should get out of Neveda"she suggested. "No I'll leave Neveda when Blade and Post are caught and pay for what they did to Christopher and his family"I replied. My mom always told me guilt is a hard thing to ingore and if you don't deal with it the guilt will eat you alive. That kept running through my mind as I walked.

I knew Luke was a pawn in this mess but how did Fred know that Zach was his. The only way I’d testify if they kept the info from Fred. Besides I wasn't going to keep Zach I was going to give him up for adoption. When I got back to The Luxor they were news crews all around talking about Criss kidnapping. "Lousie over here"a voice called out. I turned and saw JD holding a door opened for me. I slide in. "I didn't want you to deal with the news reporters"he said.

"Thanks" as we walked. "I saw you gave Criss your necklace"JD stated. "Well it brought me some luck so I thought Criss may need it"I remarked. "My mom's with him I just hope Criss can survive this" he remarked. "I can tell this is taking an emotional toll on your mom. She reminds me so much of my mom she would put up a strong front for me when the cancer was killing her"I stated as I sat down. "How long did she live for?"he asked. "Believe or not she lived two years after the doctors said she was going to die"I remarked wiping the tears away. "You kind of remind me of how Criss reactted when our dad died". "I was close to my mom I put my life on hold so I could be with her when she died. I remember being nexts to her holding her hand as the cancer took her. My father couldn't take it and left the room. When she died I gave her a kiss and told her that she was finally free".

JD sat nexts to me as I looked at a tattoo of a heart with my dad's name and my mom's name in it. "Nice tattoo". "Yea before I left New York for good I got it to remind myself of them how much they meant to me"I replied. "Yea Criss wants to get something like that when dad died but he was afraid that mom would have a heart attack to see a tattoo on him"JD replied as I laughed. Then Melissa walked over. "JD there's someone in your production office wanting to talk to you and Lousie. "Who is it?" he asked. "He gave me this" and it was Criss's necklace. "Criss was wearing this when he was taken"JD replied. I got up and looked in the office and saw it was Luke Blade.

I couldn't believe it Luke Blade was waiting there but why. I saw JD getting up but I grabbed him. "JD don't even think about it"I stated. "He should pay for what he did to my brothers"he remarked. "JD revenge won't solve anything it just lead to more revenge all right". "You should listen to her JD". Walking in was Mac. "I'll let you guys deal with him I'm going visit Criss" and he left. "Good job defusing that"Mac said. "Believe me I would love to do what JD was thinking of doing to Luke and Fred but what's the point"I replied as we walked in. When Luke saw Mac he looked angry. "It's the person who ruined my last trick". "No I saved Sylvia from you killing her Blade"he replied. "It was going to be the best trick of my night but you had to ruin it!!" he yelled.

I sat Blade back down. "Enough Blade what do you want?"I asked. "I wanted to know why you messed up my best demonstration Criss Angel buried alive I had people watching it from every angle until you had to ruin it"he stated. "Ruined it. Give me a break you buried him in back of his own warehouse with three infections running through his body making him so weak Criss almost died"I remarked. "Cry me a :mad: river"he said. "All right Blade stand up you're going to jail for the assault of Costa Sarantakos and the kidnapping of Christopher Sarantakos too" Mac remarked. Luke pushed Mac and me aside and went running. I got up and went after him while Mac followed. Luke pushed people aside even knocking some down. Then he went into a corner but when I caught up he was gone. "Dam it!"I stated. "Where is he?"Mac asked looking around. I saw a blanket on the ground and Luke's jacket underneath. "He did a disappearing act so we wouldn't catch him" I replied throwing the sheet to the ground.

"Stella it's Mac Blade got away". "You'll love this Mac the prints on the box come back to a George Sarantakos"she replied. I heard the name. "That's Criss's cousin he works for Criss". At the hospital JD and Dimitra were sitting in the waiting room as I walked in. "Louise is Blade in custody"JD asked. "No he ran off and did a disappearing act but there's something I need to ask you" as I sat next to them. "What Louisa?"Dimitra inquired. "Did George ever resent Criss or was jealous of his success?". "Why does George have something to do with this"JD asked. "The box that we found Criss in had George's prints on it"I replied. JD got up and looked out the window. "There's got to be a mistake"she stated. "They ran it twice Dimitra there his prints". "It can't be George he's in Mexico with Doug and Ayala they've been down there since I told them about Criss's kidnapping"JD remarked. "That's isn't true JD George came back the day you found Christopher" Dimitra replied. "JD Mac and Stella want to talk to George".

"All right I'll give him a call". "Also has anyone else visited Criss?"I asked. "No just family why?". All of a sudden we heard code blue in room 2213. "That's Criss's room" and we ran to the room. When we got there they were doing CPR on Criss. "Clear!!" the doctor shouted as he shocked Criss. Dimitra started to cry as JD held her. "Come on Criss don't die"I muttered. "We got a rhythm"a nurse called out. "I want a full blood culture and a tox screen"The doctor remarked and left. "JD take your mom out of here this is getting too much for her" I suggested. "I don't want Christopher to be alone" she remarked. "Dimitra Criss wouldn't want you to be like this considering your heart go back to The Luxor and I'll stay with Criss"I replied. "Thank you" and JD took her. I walked in as the nurse took some blood. "Are you Criss's girlfriend?"she asked. "Just the person who saved his life and got mixed up in this mess". The nurse left as I pulled a chair over. My phone rang and saw it was my friend George. "What's up George?" I asked. "I see you're putting your lock picking skill to good use" he said.

"What are you talking about?"I asked getting up. "My friend just showed me a video of you picking that lock on the coffin they found Criss Angel in"he replied. "Are you serious?"I asked. "Yup nice going you're being called Criss's angel. Talk to you later" and hung up. "I guess I'm not anonymous anymore"I muttered. This was getting stranger by the minute I thought as I went through my mind about what was going on. Why did Fred or Blade decide to show the world who I was or film me saving Criss. "Dad" a voice said. I went over to Criss and took the cloth that Dimitra put on him to try bring down his temperature and soaked it with co,ld water. "You need keep fighting Criss for your mom and everyone else"I told him as I put the cloth back on his forehead. "That was nice". I looked up and saw JD. I smiled. "I talked to the doctor I told him I was Criss's wife".

JD muffled a laughed. "He told me that he found almost a lethal dosage of that drug Lymographic* in his system that's what called the cardiac event"I remarked. "What about his fever?". "Still hi he keeps calling out for his father I guess the fever is making him hallucinate that his father is still around"I replied as JD sat next to him. "Louise" he called out as I started to leave. "Yea JD?". "Thanks for staying with Criss"he said. "No problem"I remarked and left.

That night I couldn't sleep I just sat in a chair in the dark while a thunder storm hit. Then room phone rang. "Hello". "Sorry to wake you". "No problem Dimitra"I stated. "Do you mind coming to my room I just want to talk to someone just to get my mind off of what's going on with Christopher?". "Sure" and hung up. As I walked to Dimitra's room a chill went down my back. Something's up you only get chills when something's not right I thought. When I got to Dimitra's room I saw two shadows moving around. I put my ear to the door. "Remember to put the cloth over her nose and mouth than we'll take her and Criss's mom". "Blade" I muttered. "Well trying to frame Criss's cousin isn't working I told you to make sure where he was when we took Criss". "Post" and went back to my room. When I came back I knocked on the door. "Dimitra it's Louisa" I said. "It's open dear"she called out. I opened the door slowly as Fred was behind the door holding the soaked cloth while Blade had Dimitra tied up and his hand over her mouth. I kicked the door hard and it hit Fred right in the face. Then I took a taser gun out of my pocket and it hit Luke knocking him to the ground.

I went to the back of the door and handcuffed Fred to the bed but when I turned to Blade I saw he disappeared. "Where did he go Dimitra?" I asked as I untied her. "I don't know he was there than he wasn't"she replied. Then Mac and Stella came in guns drawn. "It's all right guys"I stated. "I see we got Post but where's Blade?" Stella inquired. "It looks like he got tasered" Mac replied looking at the wires on the ground. "Yea but it didn't stop him he disappeared again"I remarked. As the days passed Luke Blade couldn't be found and the only thing out of Fred ‘s mouth was I want a lawyer. On the good side Criss's body was fighting the infection but for me my vacation was cut short when my friend Connie got into a major car accident putting her into a coma. I said good-bye to JD and Dimitra and told them to keep me informed about Criss. "We well we just hope Criss will get to meet you"JD replied and I gave Dimitra a hug. When I got back to New Hampshire I went to the hospital and saw my friend hooked up to everything expect the television. I looked at the chart and saw that she was brain dead.

"Oh Connie" I muttered as the doctor came in. "You Louisa Conner?". "Yes I just read that my friend's brain dead". "But something's not right she has marks on her wrist and ankle like she was being held against her will"he stated. "Can you show me where?"I asked. The doctor showed me the marks on her wrists and ankle. She showed me the bruise of a car's grill and bruises of what was a brick wall on her back. "Excuse me" and went out to the halls.

In Vegas Stella and Mac were getting ready to leave when the phone rang. "Hello Detective Mac Taylor". "Mac it's Louisa Luke Blade is in New York he played chicken with my friend!!"I declared. "I don't understand Louisa what's chicken?"he asked. "It's an episode that Criss filmed in the second season of Mindfreak he was dared by another magician named the amazing Jonathon could hit Criss so they set up a game of chicken. Jonathon hit Criss through a brick wall but Criss survived. My friend Connie has restrain marks on her ankles and arms. She has bruises on her front of a car's grill and bruises of a brick wall on her back". "Can your friend talk?"Mac inquired. "She's brain dead Mac if you want to send someone over to take pictures she wants to donate her organs" I replied. "All right I'll send someone over" and hung up.

"What was that Mac?"Stella asked. "Not what who it's Louisa her friend the one who was in a car accident she was hit and Louisa thinks it's Blade the way she was hit mimicked a Criss Angel demonstration he did. I'm going to send Danny and Hawk to gather evidence before they take her off of life support". At the hospital I stood outside as they photographed Commie. "This is brutal I can't believe Luke Blade did this" Hawk remarked. "Stella told me what's going on in Las Vegas and I got to tell you this what he did to Vienna and Austin was tamed to what he and that Fred Post guy did to Criss Angel" Danny replied. "You guys finished they have to get her into surgery to harvest her organs"I inquired. "Yea they can take her" Danny said. The nurses and the doctor came in and took Connie off life support and took her to surgery. Tears fell down my face as I watched my best friend leave. I walked outside and went back to my hotel room. Back in Vegas Criss's fever finally broke which made his family extremely happy but because of the drugs Luke and Fred gave Criss had gasps in his memory. "I just remember coming in from doing BELIEVE when someone grabbed me so I started to fight them" Criss explained.

"What else do you remember Criss?"Mac asked. "Being thrown down onto my glass coffee table so I dragged myself to a corner. I remember feeling blood running down my arm and down my fingers than I felt someone put their hands over my mouth and a needle stick than everything went black" Criss told him. "Well you're very lucky Criss that Louise knew where you were buried. The doctor said you may of not made it to the morning considering the injuries and the infection you had"Stella stated.

"Will I meet this Louise? someday" Criss asked. "Maybe when you're stronger Christopher we'll take you to meet her" Dimitra said. "We'll let you rest Criss we have to catch a flight back to New York". "Nice to meet you" Criss stated as JD got up. "Stella is what I heard true that Blade killed another person". "Yea Connie Eastwood she lives in New York near Time Square"Stella replied. "And she was a friend of Louisa Macey so for some reason Luke is keeping her in this game" Mac added. "And Fred Post has he said anything". "Just at his arraignment where he pleaded not guilty" Mac stated. I just wish I knew why he's doing this and involving Louisa into this?"JD said. "Well after we go through the evidience taken we'll probably find out more". "Thanks"JD said and went back in. Since Connie had no family to speak of I had to put together her funeral. As I look at urns since I had her body cremated I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and it was George. "George what are you doing here?"I asked. "I heard about Connie so I thought I'd come down and help you". I gave George a hug.

"Thanks I really need someone to talk to you this is bringing back memories of my mom"I stated. George looked at me and wiped the tears from my face. "I remember how upset you were when your mom died she was the reason we became friends"he mentioned. "Yea you had started just started your elective in the ICU where my mom was you were so nice to me and my dad". "I just can't believe that Kelly's gone she was such a nice person". "She kind of didn't like you she said you were creepy"I remarked. "Yea a lot of people do say that about me and I think the midnight blue urn would be nice"he said. "Thanks George". Back in Las Vegas Criss was getting stronger and was getting close to going home. In his room he was playing cards with his niece. "Come on Uncle Criss stop cheating"she said as Criss snickered. "I'm sorry if you're no good at go fish"he joked.

All of a sudden Criss dropped the cards. "Uncle Criss you all right?" she asked. For some reason Criss started to remember a little of what he went through. Will you be careful George said to give him enough to knock him out not to kill him. Give me a break Fred I know what I'm doing. I think you went a bit too far with putting nail through both his hands. "Uncle Criss Uncle Criss!!" Dimitra kept saying until Criss blinked. "Where am I?" he asked a little confused. Dimitra got up and went to get a nurse.

The doctor looked over Criss since he was still a little confused Dimitra called her father in a panic telling him what was going on. "I'll be right there Dimitra just relax" and hung up. "What's going on?" Lynn inquired as JD went to get his jacket. "Something's going on with Criss he went blank for a few minutes than when he came back he was confused freaking out Dimi I'm going down there and see what's going on" and left. When JD got there Dimi was outside scared to death. "Daddy!" she said running to her father. "It's all right Dimi" he stated holding her. "It was so scary we were playing gold fish and Uncle Criss was cheating as usually than he dropped the cards and had this blank stare and when he came back Uncle Criss was confused like he had a stroke or something" she replied as her father wiped away the tears from her face.

Then the doctor came over. "Mr. Sarantakos”. He sat his daughter down and went over to the doctor. "Is my brother all right?" JD asked. "For right now it seemed he had a brain seizure". "Is he going to be all right?". "He's still a little confused but I looked over your brother's tox scan and one of the drugs that was giving to him sometime causes brain seizures maybe these seizures are bringing back some of Criss's memories of his capture and torture. We'll keep in an eye on it"the doctor replied as Criss laid there. JD walked in. "You gave your niece quite a scare" JD said sitting next to him. "I didn't mean to I was just playing cards when I saw the two guys who did this to me". "Yea Luke Blade and Fred Post"JD said. "But they kept mentioning a guy named George" Criss remarked. "I guess we have another player in this game" JD said. That afternoon after Kelly's funeral I called JD to see how Criss was. "Hello". "JD it's Louisa I thought I'd call and see how Criss is". "He's doing a lot better the doctor may release him soon"he replied. "That's good maybe after they capture Luke I'll come back and challenge Criss to a lock picking contest" I joked.

"Louisa Criss remembered something from his capture does the name George mean anything". "Why?" I asked sitting down. "It seems he was involved in Criss's capture and gave the guys the drugs they put into Criss's system" JD said. It can't be I thought. "Let me get back to you on that JD" and hung up. I went over to my computer and typed in Luke Blade. "Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, killed Vienna Hyatt and Austin Cannon, tried to kill his adoptive mother until he was captured by Mac Taylor. Sentenced to life in a maximum security mental institution. Wanted for the kidnapping and torture of Master Illusionist Criss Angel" I read. Then I saw who his father was. "George Clark". My father was drunk use to hit my mom and me until he was arrested for robbery died in prison. "Oh my god George and Luke Blade are half-brothers!!". I heard a door slam I turned around and saw George.

I got up as George started walking towards me. "I see you know about my half-brother"he replied. "So you broke Fred and Luke out of that intuition but why?" I asked. "One word revenge. Fred wanted revenge on Criss because he killed his son and Luke well he wanted to join in on the fun"he remarked. "So why involve me?"I asked trying to figure out how to get away from George. "Well Luke found out that Criss knew Vienna and Austin. He wanted proof so I found out through an old friend of Criss's that he sent some pictures to Criss over his computer and since you were going to Vegas I decided to involve you" as he got closer. "So you gave Fred and Luke the drugs to give Criss" as I stepped towards the kitchen.

"Give the woman a prize"he said. "Were you going to kill me". "Fred was going to that night he got arrested until you figured out what was going on"he replied. "It didn't take a genius that Fred was hiding behind the door"I stated. Then George got close enough that he put a knife to my throat. "You ruined Fred's plan on killing Criss your police senses were too sharp that you had to notice that we buried Criss at his own warehouse" he replied. "You're as sick as your brother George"I stated fighting to get lose "Do you have any last words before you die?". "How about put the knife down?"A voice replied. George felt a gun next to his head and dropped the knife. He turned around and behind him was Detective Flack. I caught my breath as George was arrested. "All right George where's Blade?" he asked. George just started to laugh. "You'll never find my brother and Criss Angel will die just you wait" he called out as Flack took him out. I knew Criss was in danger so I called JD but he wasn't picking up. I called Dimitra. "I'm sorry Dimitra can't come to the phone right please leave a message at the sound of the scream". "Blade you won't get away with this we know the truth"I stated.

"Why don't you try to find me before Criss loses his family" and hung up. After that I called Taylor. "Detective Taylor it's Louisa, Blade is in Las Vegas and he has Criss's mother and brother I'm scared what he has up his sleeve for them". "Thanks Louise I'm heading back there right now" he remarked. After I hung up I went to the safe that was in my hotel room. I opened it and took out my police gun. I put it in my bag and left.

When I finally got back to Las Vegas my heart was racing wondering what Blade had in store for Criss's family. "Louisa what are you doing here?". I turned around and saw Taylor. "I couldn't let Blade get away with what he did so I want to help get this son of a :mad:"I replied. "Louise for your safety you should get back on that plane". I opened the side of my coat and showed Mac my gun. "He wants me here Taylor". "All right" and we left. When we got to The Luxor I saw Costa. "Costa where's your mother and JD?"I asked. "They went to see Criss why?"he said. "Luke Blade might have them"Mac replied. Costa called his mother's cell and got the same message I did. "He has my mom" as he played back the message to us. "I got the same one too Mac" I remarked. Mac called the hospital and told them he wanted a police detail on Criss.

"When he gets back I'll do that his mother and brother took him outside in a wheelchair a few hours ago" The nurse replied. "Go check your grounds they might of been taken" and Mac hung up. "What's wrong?". "Luke may have Criss back in his custody with your mom and brother". As the guys talked I went in Criss's theater and took out my phone again. I knew I had to review the torture videos to see if I noticed anything that could tell me where Luke Blade might be hiding them. Before I did I grabbed something I could use just incase I did a repeat performance of the way JD and I met: throwing up in the elevator. I took a breath and put it on. Come on Louisa keep your eyes open for anything that would tell you where Luke is hiding them I thought as I watched the video than I noticed something and played it back. In the atrium the guys realized I had disappeared. “She must be taking lesson from your brother" Taylor remarked. I came out of the theater wiping my mouth and throwing a bag in the trash.

"What was that?" Taylor inquired. "Don't ask," as I took out a piece of gum from my pocket. "Anyway I think I know Luke Blade is hiding in a corner of the first torture video I saw the empire state building"I remarked. "So we flew out here for nothing"Stella said. "What she's saying is that Luke Blade might have them at The New York New York hotel and casino a couple of blocks from here"Costa stated. Just than my phone went off and saw it was a video message. I opened it and saw Criss was handcuffed to the tracks of a roller coaster. "Oh my god I remember this trick"I remarked. "Criss looks like he's out of it!". Then it stopped. "That could be at any roller coaster in Nevada"Costa remarked. "We need to find out which one is closed because the way it was film suggested nobody is around to stop it"Tayor replied. "Criss is the only one who like coasters JD and I can't stand them". Come on Louisa you've figured out this much see what you can do I thought. Then I remembered something I heard at the airport as I walked past two teenagers.

Circus Circus is closed for a few weeks for remodeling purposes. "Taylor I know where Criss is he's at Circus Circus"I remarked. "Are you sure?". "I know I saw that roller coaster somewhere it was a stunt Criss did". "All right I'll call Las Vegas police and tell them to look around New York Hotel" Stella remarked as she went to call the police. "And we'll go to Circus Circus"I stated. "I'm sorry Louisa but you stay here you're too involved in this" and Taylor left.

I didn't care what Taylor said. I went outside and looked at all of Criss's motorcycles and cars. I starred at them like a fan untill I noticed one had keys in them. The MF13 my favorite one I thought. Costa came back and saw me leaving on the motorcycle. When I got to Circus Circus it was like looking at an empty complex. "Reminds me of my first apartment" I muttered. I saw an opening in the gate and looked at it. I saw lines in the sand. Wheel chair marks Back at The Luxor Costa called Taylor who went to New York Casino where they found JD and Dimitra tied up but no Criss. "Mac Taylor". "Mac it's Costa did you find my brother and my mom?"he asked. "We found your mom and your brother JD". "Mac Louise is gone she took one of my brother's motorcycle and took off she's probably going over to Circus Circus" Costa replied. "Thanks Costa I'll go over there" and hung up. I followed the tracks until they disappeared. "BLADE!!"I yelled out

"Well well look who we have here Officer Macey where's your back up". She looked up and on the fourth floor was Blade. "Where's Angel?"she asked. "He's getting ready to catch a ride"he stated. "Let him go!!"I called out. Luke went over the side and started to float down than he landed on a couple of saw horses. I just stood there with my arms folded. "What no applause?"he inquired. "Please Criss does a better levitation than you"I replied. Luke jumped down and took out a knife out of his arm sleeve and threw it but I grabbed a piece of pipe and lifted myself up as the knife hit the wall. "Nice throw Blade but you've got the worse aim in town"I replied jumping down. I could tell I was starting to piss off Blade. Then I saw Blade grab a nail gun. "And now for my next trick I'm going to make you catch a nail just like Criss Angel tried to do,”. OH:mad:I thought. He shot one as I jumped into a dumpster. "I got you now Louisa there's no place you can go". He shot a round at the dumpster than put it on the ground. When he went over to the dumpster to see if I was died he saw I gone. Luke screamed as loud as he could. Outside Detective Taylor showed up and saw the bike outside. He drew his gun and went inside. After I disappeared I started to feel pain in my right hand I looked and saw one of the nails was in my hand.

"Now I know how Criss felt"I muttered. I pulled the nail out while biting my lower lip. After I did that I took a bandanna I saw and wrapped it around the wound. I took a breath and started my search for Criss. When I finally found the roller coaster I saw that it was on a timer ready to start out in a few minutes. "I got to find Criss and get him off of this track before Blade kills him"I said and got on the ground. I followed the tracks untill I found Criss on the track hanging there. I ran up one of the ramps they had so people could watch the coaster go by. "Christopher!"I yelled. Criss looked at me but he looked drugged out of his mind. I jumped over the barrier and carefully got on the tracks. I saw that Criss was handcuffed. ":mad:"I remarked. All of a sudden I heard a noise.

The roller coaster the timer must of finished I got to pick these locks or we're both going to die I thought. By some luck I checked my pockets and still had Criss's pick locking tools with me. I took them out and put them around my neck. "Don't worry Criss I'll get you out of here" as I started to pick his ankle locks. Down on the ground Mac was still looking for me or Blade when he found the bloody nail on the ground. "Louisa!!" he called out. I was busy trying to get Criss off the tracks that I didn't hear him call me. I got off the ankle cuffs and I started on his hands as the sound of the coaster got louder. Come on Louisa you can do this ignore the sound and save Angel. Down the ground Mac saw me and what I was doing. I was on the last one as Mac came up. "Hurry up Louise it's getting close". "Mac he's drugged out of his mind I need your help to get him off" I remarked as the last lock popped off. I handed Criss to Mac as the seats to the ride came barreling towards me. "Louisa get off you're going to die,"Mac yelled out. Mac could do nothing as the ride came past. "LOUISA!!"

When I saw the ride coming I knew I wasn't going to make it off so I jumped into a crack and held on to the support of the track. After the ride went by I swung my legs up and than my hands. As I got up Mac was shocked. "How in the world did you survive?" as I came over. "I'll tell you later let's get Angel out of here before Blade comes looking for us"I replied. Almost cue we heard laughing. "Come on" as I put Criss's arm over my neck and Taylor did the same. We took Criss to where we came in while the laughter got closer. "Mac get Criss out I'll distract Luke"I suggested. I could tell Mac didn't want me to but we had no choice. "All right just be careful" and he took Criss out as I threw a bucket making some noise. "Hey Blade come and get me"I called out as I ran the other way. I wasn’t sure if Luke would fall for the oldest trick in the book but I prayed he would. "Come on Luke show yourself I know you want to!"I called out keeping my eyes open. All of a sudden I felt a hand over my mouth. I looked up and saw Blade.

I fought until I started to feel tired and everything went black. When I woke up I tried to move but I saw my hands were tied with riot cuffs and my legs were tied by electrical tape. "Oh no he's going to use one of Criss's stunt against me"I said. At the hospital Criss was waking up. "What happened?". "Luke Blade tried to kill you by using one of your own stunts"Mac remarked. "Where's the woman who picked the locks to get me off that track?" Criss asked. "She was throwing Luke Blade off your scent"Mac stated. Then JD and Costa came in. "They spotted Luke Blade's car a mile from here" Costa remarked. "That's good I can finally arrest that psycho". "He has a hostage Louisa he says that if they come near him he'll send the car over the bridge drowning Lousia"JD added. "Are they sure he has her?"Criss asked.

"He opened the trunk and she was in there her hands are in riot cuffs and her legs are bound by tape"Costa replied. "Criss you've done this stunt do you think Louisa can pull it off if Blade goes through with it?"Taylor asked. "I don't know it was difficult for me but it might kill Louisa if she can't get her hands out of those cuffs" Criss replied.

When Taylor got there and saw the police had Luke surrounded but every time they tried to get close Luke would start shooting at them with my gun. Inside I was looking around trying to figure out how to get out of these cuffs. The police were losing Luke so he put the car in drive and it went off the bridge. Luke started to laugh as they arrested him. "Get that car out of the water now!!"he yelled. In the car I knew I was in the water as it started to come in. I was starting to panic when the back of the seat came down.

I saw it was Criss with a knife to cut the cuffs. "Come on" he said as we swam out. "Congrates Taylor you may of caught me but my deal with Fred is done Louisa Macey is dead". "I don't think so Blade". He took out his phone and showed Blade a video of Criss and I being picked up by the harbor master. "As they say in the magic world it's misdirection. Take him away" as Taylor shut the door. A few months went by since what happened with Luke Blade and Fred Post. Criss and I had to testify at their trail and both of them were sentence to life at a maximum security asylum in different states. George was sentence to twenty years to life and medical license was permanent revoked. When things finally got back to normal I went back to work in New Hampshire but kept in touch with JD.

At work I was picking a lock for my caption. "I can't believe I locked the keys in the drawer again"he said. I popped the lock. "There you go sir"I said getting up. "Thank you Louisa it's nice to have you back" and I went back to my desk. "Hey Louisa!!"someone called out. "What now Ken?" I asked. "We've got a call of a missing person his family said he went for a walk and might of gotten lost in the woods". "Let me guess never been in the wilderness before"I said grabbing my stuff. "Yea says that he's from New York but reside in Las Vegas" Louis replied. "All right" and left. When I got to the address I saw a woman standing there with a fifteen year old. "Thanks for coming". "It's no problem so tell me what happened?" I asked. "We brought my brother in law up here for some R&R so he and my daughter went walking in the woods". "Than my Uncle Chris and I got separated my girl scout leader said not to go off wondering or you're going to get lost too so I found my way back and called you guys" she remarked. "Well that was smart thinking now I want you-".

"Lynn". "All right Lynn I want you to hold on to this radio it's programed to my radio if your brother in law finds his way back give me a call. Where's the rest of the family?"I inquired. "In the house calming their mother down she got a hysterical Chris was kidnapped a few months ago so she's kind of reliving the pain of what she went through last time" Lynn explained. "All right" and I went in. I saw some foot steps and I followed them than I saw a cross on the ground. When I saw it I couldn't believe who I was looking for. "Christopher Sarantakos"I called out. "Over here"a voice replied. I followed the voice and found Criss sitting on a stump. "This is weird way to meet again Criss"I stated. "Tell me about it Lousie"he replied blushing a little. "Can you walk?". "A little I think I twisted my ankle"he remarked getting up. I grabbed a tree branch than looked at Criss and broke some off. "Here use this to lean on" I stated giving him the branch. "Did you find him?" a voice came over my walkie. "My niece Dimitra thank god she made it back"Criss stated.

"Yes Dimitra I found him tell your grandmother he's all right just a twisted ankle that's it"I replied as we came down. When we got back Dimitra was happy to see me as Criss sat down. "Thanks again Louise" Criss said. "No problem Criss nice to see you guys again"I stated. "This is weird you've saved Criss twice want to go for three?"Costa asked as Criss hit Costa in the shines with the branch. "Louisa do you want to stay for dinner?"Dimitra asked. "Please"Dimi begged. I went over to my jeep. "Ken found the missing person going code seven"I said. "Got it". I went in. "So Louisa has things gotten back to normal considering"Costa asked. "Yea I became a celebrity for a while but I'm still the same old kid from New York" I replied. "Louise I got to ask you did you really pick those locks on me? “Criss inquired. "Yea something I learned from my misspent youth" as JD muffled a laugh. "How about a lock picking contest?" Criss suggested. "Christopher you told me you'd leave your magic side in Vegas" Dimitra said.

"If you want to Criss we can make it interesting". "How?" he asked. "Here we go again"JD remarked. "We do this at my police department we'll be locked in a cell with our arms locked behind us with shackles on our legs. After we get the cuffs off we have to pick the locks of the jail cells,". "If I win what do I get?" I asked as Criss chocked on his meal. "Well since your last trip to Vegas wasn't so great how about Criss pays for I don't know a month at The Luxor, best room in the hotel, tickets to Believe, and a shopping spree"JD suggested. "And what do I get if I win?"Criss inquired. "I'll take you out to dinner, take you to a club all on me"I said. "All right" and we shook on it.

When the day came for the lock picking contest I was nervous and to make me more anxious Criss decided to film it for an episode of Mind freak. At the station I was looking over the cell that Criss and I would be using. "You nervous?"the caption inquired walking over. "I am but he's made it worse by inviting his crew to film this"I replied sitting in the cell. "Louise you can beat Criss everyone has a pool going that you'll bet Criss and if you do the money is going to you for your trip to Vegas"he remarked. "And if Criss win". Saying that gave me a disgusting taste in my mouth like I licked a tire. "It's his to do what he pleases"The caption replied. "How much is in the pool?"I asked picking my interesting. "Almost a thousand dollars so there's your incentive to win". "Hey Louise your opponent just showed up". I got out of the cell as Criss walked in with JD and his crew. "You ready for this Angel?"I asked standing there with my hands crossed. "Bring it on"he said.

"Now Criss we want you to look at the shackles and handcuffs that we're going to use" showing them to him. Criss looked them over even showed them to the camera to prove that weren't fake. "Criss these shackles and handcuffs are from a maximum security prison in Florida. These have held the most violent criminals in the state". Including Luke Blade and Fred Post Criss thought. "So who wants to go first?". "Oldest goes first" I stated as Criss rolled his eyes. "All right just make sure your car is gassed up I can't wait to go dancing"Criss stated. "At what LAX or Body English with me" as everyone laughed. "All right Criss we're going to time both of you and who ever has the shorter time wins a thousands dollars". "Good some money to donate to my charity"Criss stated. "I'll leave the change for you Criss"I replied as Ken gave me high five. The sheriff put the cuffs and shackles on Criss.

"You ready Criss?"The caption asked. Criss sat there for a few minutes than nodded his head. I watched Criss so closely I forgot that this was being taped. Criss threw out the cuffs. "Thirty seconds Criss"the caption called out. Criss had a bit of trouble with the hand shackles but sped through the ankle shackles. "A minute thirty Criss" the caption said. Criss got up and went over to the jail's door and picked it with no trouble. "Time a minute fifty Criss". Criss took a bow as I put up my hair. "let's see if you can beat that" Criss stated. "Louis how long did it take me to get out of this stuff in training?"I inquired. "A minute twenty was your best time"he replied. "Criss you want to sweeten the pot". "How?"he asked. "Well since you like pain I get to taser you and since you're going to be paying for my month long trip to Vegas you have to take me out to dinner". "And if I win?"he inquired.

"I'll let you taser me and I'll take you and your crew out to dinner on me"I replied. JD didn't mind the dinner part but he didn't get the tasering part. "All right" and we shook on it. "I'll get the taser guns ready". To make it fair I let two of Criss's crew shackle and handcuff me. "You ready Louisa?"the caption asked. "Let's go!" I yelled out. I got out of the cuff with no problem. "Wow ten second!" Doug exclaimed. I got the hand shackles off than the feet. "Fifty second come on Louisa!!". I went over to the door and picked it. I opened the door. "What's the time?"I inquired. "A minute Louisa wins!!". Criss went over to me and shook my hand. "Best person won she gave me a run for my money"Criss remarked. "So Criss are you going to back out on our deal?". Criss took a breath. "Is this going to hurt?"he inquired. "What do you think come on. Bring the camera with you"I remarked as I took Criss to the room where we practiced tasering.

That night Criss was laying on his stomach because the tasering hurt like hell. "So how's your back?" Costa asked as he slapped it. Criss slammed his fist on the floor trying not to swear in front of his niece. "It feels like I sun burned it" Criss remarked. "I had a feeling she was going to win"JD said. Then a knock came to the door and Costa got up. At the door was Louisa. "Louise nice to see you again". "I just wanted to see how Criss was?"I asked. "Sore but fine"Criss replied from the floor not wanting to get up. "Believe me Criss the pain will go away"I replied. "Well we're going to be leaving tomorrow so we'll see you at the airport" Costa said. "All right oh Costa before I forget here's that money you won" I stated and left. "What's that from?"Criss inquired getting up slowly. "I kind of bet that you wouldn't take the taser shot" and Costa ran off as JD started to laugh. "He's dead when we get back"Criss remarked.

"Christopher I have to ask you something I noticed you couldn't keep your eyes off of Louisa"JD said. "So what?"Criss replied. "Criss you had that grin on when you start falling for a woman. Oh my god you're falling for Louisa!"JD replied. Criss denied it and went to bed. That night Criss was listening to the radio. On the radio was *Sound Garden I knew I loved you. All of a sudden the door opened and Louisa came in wearing a sexy nightie. Criss sat up as she modeled it than she walked over to the other side of the bed and got in. She snuggled next to Criss as Criss just stared into her eyes. Within a blink of an eye Criss was watching Louisa walk down the aisle in a wedding dress. They both couldn't stop smiling at each other as the preacher said the words than Criss pulled up the veil and kissed her passionately.

All of a sudden Criss was walking down set of stairs as Louisa came out of a room Criss walked over and looked in as a baby boy was laying there in a bassinet sleeping. "HEY CRISS WAKE UP!!" a voice yelled. Criss woke up and put his arms around his knees as he thought of the dream he just had. It felt so real maybe I am falling for Louisa he thought "Come on Christopher"his mother called out. Criss got up as the dream and song still played in his head.

When I got to the cabin I saw Costa bringing the luggage out to the porch. "Let me help you Costa" I remarked coming over. "Thanks Louisa this my punishment for betting against Criss"Costa said as he laughed. "Speaking of Criss is he seeing anyone in Las Vegas?"I inquired. "Why?". Before she could answer JD came in. "Hey Louisa I thought I heard you weren't we suppose to meet at the airport". "I thought I'd come here and help out"I replied as Lynn came out. "JD can you help me with your daughter I can't get her out of bed" Lynn stated. "Let me help I was the same way when I was her age"I remarked and went in. In the kitchen Criss was mopping the floor. "You missed a spot Christopher". Criss was so surprise to see me that he slipped falling to the floor which made me chuckle.

Great she probably thinks I'm a klutz Criss thought as he got up. I knocked on the door. "Hey Dimi it's Louisa if you want to walk to the airport you better get out of bed" I called out. Then I heard moaning. I tried the door and it opened. I walked in and saw Dimi still in bed. "Hey Dimi come on you can catch more sleep on the ride home. Your parents need some help" as I shook her. Then she started to seize. "Criss!!" I yelled. Criss ran in and saw Dimi shaking. "What's going on?"he asked. "I don't know pull off the blanket while I hold her head". Criss took off the blanket and saw her left leg was swollen. "What the hell?". After the seizure stopped I looked at the leg. "Oh my god Criss this is a snake bite". "There's poisonous snakes in New Hampshire". "Only one a*timber black snake,". "Criss she's need to get to a hospital with anti venom or she's going either lose her leg or worse die"I replied.

JD came in and saw Dimi. "Oh my god Dimitra!!"JD said but Criss took him outside. "JD look at me Dimi got bit by a poisonous snake". "How she never left the cabin after Louisa left last night?"JD inquired. As the guys talked outside I called the station. "Hello". "Ken it's Louisa I need your help a timber black snake bit Criss's niece I need to get her to a hospital with anti venom"I remarked. "No problem get her to the high school I'll have a helicopter waiting for her". "Thanks I owe you" and hung up. I went to the door as JD and Criss were talking. "Louisa how's my daughter?"JD inquired. "She's pretty sick JD I talked to an officer he can get a helicopter to bring her to the hospital that has the anti venom to help her but we need to get her to the high school quickly".

"All right but I want to go with her"JD stated. "JD you need to stay here keep your wife and mom calm I'll go with Louisa and Dimitra"Criss suggested. "All right" and Criss went into the room as I wrapped her up. "Ready Criss?" I inquired. "Yea"he said as he picked his niece up. Outside JD told Lynn and his mother what was going on. "Oh my god my baby!!". "Don't worry Lynn Louisa and Criss are going to take her to the helicopter that's waiting for her"JD said. Costa brought out the jeep as Criss and I came out with Dimitra. I got in as Criss put Dimi in the back. Costa got out as Criss got in. "Christopher be careful please"his mother stated. "I will mom I swear" and we left. When we got to the high school the helicopter was waiting for us.

Criss brought Dimi over. "Criss they can only let only one of us on do you want go with your niece?" I asked loudly over the sound of the helicopter. "You go you know what snake bit her,"he replied. I jumped in. "Louisa call me when you land and give this to Dimitra I keep it near me when I need family" giving me his believe cross with his father's initials on the bottom. I smiled as Criss got close enough away and watched the helicopter lift off. "Please dad keep Dimitra safe" Criss muttered

At the hospital I stayed with Dimitra like I told Criss as her family drove to the hospital which was ten miles away. "So Terry how's she doing?"I asked. "She's a fighter we already gave her four vials of the anti venom and the swelling hasn't gone beyond the last line. Do you know how she got bit?"he asked. "It seems there was a hole under her bed and the snake came in. I think while she was sleeping the snake bit her than left through the hole. Her parents are thinking of suing the people who let them use the house and my boss is going to fine them since they found a couple of more snake holes in two more rooms"I stated. "I'm surprise the whole family wasn't bitten by the snake" Terry remarked and I went back in her room. I sat next to her as she laid there still unconscious but she was wearing the necklace Criss asked me to put on her which I did. "Keep fighting Dimi"I said than my phone rang and saw it was Criss.
"Hey Criss"I stated.

"My brother wants to know how she's doing?"he asked as I heard horns beeping. "She's still unconscious but the doctor sayes that the swelling hasn't gotten any worse she's a fighter Criss just like her uncle"I replied. "Thanks" and hung up. In the car Costa was driving since Lynn was scared and JD was keeping her clam. "So what did she say Christopher?"Dimitra asked. "She's still unconscious but the swelling hasn't gotten any worse"Criss replied. "Thank god" Lynn said. Then Costa cut off a guy. "Costa watch it I'm not in the mood to share a room with my daughter in the hospital"JD said. "And I don't think Felix would like it if I end up in the hospital again" Criss added. At the hospital I was playing with some cards when Dimi started to move. I went over to her as she opened her eyes. "Louisa where am I?". "You're in a hospital you got bit by a poisonous snake"I remarked. "Where are my parents?"she asked a little scared. "Don't worry they're on their way". Then I got an idea.

"Why don't we give them a call?". A smile appeared on her face. On the side of the road Costa got into a fender bender with another car. Lynn was ready to kill Costa but JD took her to another side of the car to calm Lynn down as Criss and his mother talked. "You all right mom?"Criss inquired. "I'm fine I'm just scared that I'm going to lose my only grandchild" she remarked. "Louise told me that Dimi is fighter I bet you dad watching over her". "He probably brought Louisa into our life too" as Criss smiled. All of a sudden Criss's phone rang. "Hello"he said. "Uncle Criss!!" a voice called out. "Dimitra how are you?". "A little hungry"she remarked. "JD!" Criss called out and JD came over. "What Criss my wife is on the verge of committing homicide on Costa". "I thought you might want to talk to your daughter"Criss remarked. "What?" and took the phone from him. "Dimitra how are you?"he asked. "I'm doing good dad is mom there?". "Hold on" and brought the phone to her. "Where's that toe truck?"Lynn muttered. "Honey it's Dimitra" JD replied. Lynn took the phone.

"Dimitra baby are you all right?". "I'm fine mom"she said. "Oh I was so worried Dimi". "I'm all right mommy grandpa was looking over me". "Put Louise back on the phone" and she gave me the phone. "Yea Lynn"I remarked. "Thanks Louisa you're a god sent" . "It's no problem I'll stay with Dimi until you guys get here"I stated. "Thank you" and hung up as tears fell down her face. When they finally arrived at the hospital I was waiting for them. "Where is she?". "She's in room 2113 fourth floor"I remarked and they went to the nearest elevator. "Thanks for staying with Dimitra"Costa stated. "It's my pleasure,". Then I noticed Costa's finger. "Costa I think you may need to see a doctor your finger is dislocated" I said as Criss and Dimitra looked at it. "Come on Costa let's make a b-line to the emergency room" and Dimitra took him leaving me and Criss together. All right what now Criss thought. "You want to go get something to eat there's a twenty four hour diner across the street" I suggested. "All right" and we left. At the diner we sat down as the waitress gave us menus. "Thanks for staying with Dimi"Criss remarked. "It's no problem". A few minutes of silence passed as we looked at the menus. Louise tell Criss how you feel about him you know he likes you too I thought. "So have you decided?". "I'll have the BLT"Criss stated. "Same and heavy on the fires"I replied. "What the hell extra fires with mine"Criss added as the waitress took the menus.

"What would you like to drink?". "Ice tea with lemon"I stated. "Pepsi no ice" Criss said and she left. For some reason I couldn't get the words out of my mouth about my feelings about Criss. "So Louisa-". "Criss Louise I hate it when people call me Louisa only my dad called me Lousia"I remarked. Criss snickered. "Know the feeling I can't stand it when people call me Christopher but as you can tell my mom is the only one who calls me by my full name,"Criss replied. God she has the most charming smile I've seen in a while. "Here you go"The waitress remarked giving us our drinks and sandwiches. I grabbed the ketchup and started to squeeze the bottle but it wasn't coming out. "I hate squeeze bottles"I stated. I pointed the nozzle at Criss but when I squeezed it hard the ketchup came out all over Criss. "Oh Criss I'm so sorry" as Criss got up. "It's no problem you know what I'm going to change" and Criss left leaving me there feeling like an idiot.

Back at the hospital Criss was out side sitting thinking as Costa came out. "Why the long face Criss?"Costa inquired. "For once in my life I feel uncomfortable around a woman"he said. "First time for everything Criss so who's the girl?" Costa inquired sitting next to him. "Louisa". Costa smiled. "I feel so uncomfortable around her I go blank when I want to talk to her"Criss stated. "Have you ever thought she feels the same way towards you when I was high school I dated a girl that loved me so much she get clumsy spilling drinks on me, falling on the floor and do stupid stuff". "Like me falling on my :mad: at the cabin"Criss remarked giggling. "Or spilling ketchup on you" Costa added looking at Criss's shirt. "I guess you're right Costa I'll go talk to her".

"Here she comes right now"Costa said as I walked over with a sandwich bag. "Hey Costa". "Louise" he said. "You left your sandwich so I had them pack it up for you"I stated giving it to Criss. "Thanks"Criss replied smiling. We just sat there silent as Costa got up. "All right this is getting senseless so I'm going to say it Louise Criss has feelings for you and Criss she has feelings for you. Now if you excuse I'll let you talk" and Costa left. I felt like running and I could tell Criss wanted to do the same thing. "You like me?"I said a little shocked. "Yea every since that lock picking contest I realized how much I liked you". I sat next to him and kissed Criss. Criss went speechless after I kissed him. "I love you too Christopher maybe when we finally get to Las Vegas you and I can go out on a date “I remarked. Then Criss put his hand on my check and kissed me passionately. "Ahhhhhhhhhh"A voice called out. Criss looked and saw JD, his mother and Costa watching them. "Please don't tell me your family is behind me?"I asked blushing a little. Criss said nothing which spoke volumes.

"Come on let's leave the love birds alone"JD stated and they all went inside. "And I thought my fans were worse when it came to me dating"Criss stated as I laughed. As soon as Criss's niece finally got out of the hospital we all went to Las Vegas. When we got there I was putting my stuff away as a knock came to the door. I opened the door and on the floor were flowers. I looked and saw nobody so I brought them in. I saw a card so after I put the flowers in water I read the card they were from Criss telling me he was going to pick me up at eight for our date. I smiled as I put the card away.

At the warehouse Criss was working on some demonstrations when George walked in. "How's Dimi I heard what happened". "She's doing better JD took the day to spend some time with her. George what's that restaurant you were telling me about in Bolder City called". "You mean that Greek restaurant it's called Dionysus why? I thought you weren't a fan of Greek food,". Criss said nothing. "You've got the hots for someone and you want to impress her" George stated. Am I that readableCriss thought as George left. That night I was doing my hair while my black dress was on the bed as Soundgarden I knew I loved you played on my IPod. Just than my phone rang. "Hello"I said.

"Louisa it's Mac I have some bad news about Luke Blade"he said. "Don't tell me he escaped?" as my heart jumped into my throat. "I'm afraid so he was on his way to the court house for an appeal hearing. The van that was taking him got into an accident and he escaped. I thought you and Criss should know"Mac said. "I'll pass it on"I stated and hung up. In his suite Criss was buttoning his shirt when a knock came to the door. He went over to the door and standing there was me. "Louise what are you doing here I was suppose to meet you at your room in a few minutes". I walked in and sat down. "Criss Blade escaped from custody this afternoon he maybe coming here"I said. Criss sat down as thoughts of his torture came back to haunt him. "Are they sure?". "Detective Taylor called me to warn us about Blade"I replied. "Just when I thought I could put the past behind me it comes back to haunt me"Criss muttered. While Criss talked to Costa on the phone I was looking out of the window. "Just keep your eyes open and tell the security about Luke. Thanks" and hung up. "Criss do you think Luke is coming for us?"I asked.

"I don't know but Costa has security keeping their eyes out for him Criss said. "I guess our date is off". "Not really we can still go out to dinner just not where I wanted to take you"Criss replied. I smiled at Criss as he took my hand and we left. We went down to a restaurants but as we talked and eat I couldn't shake the feeling I was been watched and I was right. At the bar a man with a hat on was watching me and Criss. He looked up and it was Blade. "Come on let's go next door to LAX and release some of this tension about Blade"Criss suggested. I smiled as Criss took my hand and we left. After we left Blade followed us until he saw that the bouncer had a flyer with his face on it. Dam it. Inside the club I was amazed at it since of some of the club in New Hampshire weren't like this one

"Come on" Criss called out since the music was pumping so loud it was hard to hear anything. Outside Blade was trying to figure out how to get to me and Criss when he saw a back entrance and two bartenders using it. "Come on Jack we have to restock the bar tonight". "I know I know". Luke grabbed one of the boxes and went in unnoticed. In the club Criss and I were having a drink when they started to play Savage Garden. "I love this song come on Criss" taking Criss's hand. We went on the dance floor and started to slow dance. As the song played I felt like it was just me and Criss. Criss twirled me and I started to smile as I put my head on Criss's chest. Near where we were sitting Luke found our drinks and put something in it. After the song finished everyone clapped. "You're not a bad dancer Criss?"I remarked. "Slow dancing I can handle but fast one forget it"Criss replied as he took a sip of his drink and I took a drink of mine.

All of a sudden Criss started to rub his eyes. "You all right?"I inquired. "Yea it's just getting a little hazy in here". "Why don't we go outside and get some fresh air"I suggested. "All right" and we left. As we started to walk everything started to look strange and I could tell Criss was feeling the same way. I dropped to my knees as everything started to go black. In the production office Costa was talking on the phone when he noticed a crowd. Costa went out to see what was going on. He pushed people back. When he got closer Costa saw it was me and Criss on the floor out cold. Costa bent down to check to see if we had a pulse as JD came in and saw what was going on. "Are they alive?"he asked. "Yea it looks like they were knocked out"Costa replied. Then Criss started to seize. "JD call an ambulance Criss having a seizure!!" Costa called out. The ambulance came and loaded me and Criss up. In the back I was coming to. "What happened?" I asked the EMT. "It seems someone drugged you and your friend we're going to take you to the hospital to have you checked out"the person replied. I turned and saw Criss was still out cold with an oxygen mask on him. "Criss"I called out. "Your friend is pretty out of it he had a seizure". Then the ambulance stopped.

"Greg what's going on?". The man turned and it was Blade. He pulled out a gun and aimed it at the EMT. "Get out and I won't kill you"he ordered. "Blade don't shot there's oxygen on you'll blow us to the heaven!!"I called out trying to get off the stretcher. The EMT got up but left me his cell phone. I put it in my bra as the EMT got out. Luke got out himself as the EMT closed the doors. I got off the stretcher and checked on Criss. "Christopher!"I remarked but he was still out of it. All of a sudden I heard a gun shot and I knew what Blade did. I realized I had to get Criss out of here before Blade killed both of us. I turned my head and saw Blade left the keys. "Thanks dad"I muttered as I got in the driver's seat. Outside Luke was pulling the dead body off the road when I started the ambulance up. I put the car in drive and sped off. When Blade saw what I did he shot the gun and a bullet hit me in my arm. "Dam it" as I looked at the gun shot wound. At The Luxor JD was on the phone with the hospital. "Are you serious all right" and hung up as Costa came in. "What's wrong?" Costa inquired. "Blade hijacked the ambulance Criss and Louise were in"JD replied.

"Do they know where it is?". "No it's old ambulance it doesn't have GPS"JD stated. Then Costa's phone rang. "Hello". "Costa's it's Lousia I'm in the ambulance with Criss I left Blade on the side of the road". "Where are you?". "I-I don't know but I've been shot in the arm"I remarked. "Costa what's going on?". "Lousie has Criss but she's been shot"he replied. Then I saw where I was and pulled over. "Costa I'm at the canyon Criss did the mail bag escape" I remarked. "How's Criss?". I looked in the back and Criss was starting to wake up. "He's coming too I'm going to hide the ambulance just incase Blade is coming for us"I stated.

"I'll have the police meet you there just stay hidden" and Costa hung up. When Criss finally came to I was bandaging myself up. "What happened?"he asked as Criss took the oxygen mask off. "Luke Blade drugged us and tried to hijack the ambulance" as I threw the bloody rag on the ground. "What the hell happened to you?". "Blade had a gun and shot at the ambulance. I got shot but thankfully it was a through and through" I replied. "Where are we?". "Bolder City Nevada near where you did the mailbag escape,"I stated. "We need to ditch this ambulance Blade's probably looking for it". "I was thinking that myself". I helped Criss up and we got out of the ambulance. "Which way do you want to go?"I asked Criss saw the ambulance was parked next to a tree and something was brewing in his head. "Got a pocket knife?". "Yea why?"I asked giving him it. Criss took the knife out and craved a cross into the tree with the initials JDS underneath it. "A little sign for Costa or JD when they come looking for us". "Those are your father's initials"I said. "I’m just hoping Blade doesn't know that. Come on" and we left.

We hid in some bushes as we waited for the police to arrive but a green hummer pulled up instead. I looked and saw George getting out. What's he doing here I thought. "What's going on?"Criss whispered. "It's George he's the one who gave Fred and Luke those drugs to put into your system also he's Luke's Blade half brother"I whispered. "Thanks for getting me I forgot how sneaky Louise is". Coming from the other end was Luke. "Great the whole families here"I muttered. "Are you sure they were heading this way?"George asked. "It's the only place for miles"Luke replied. Then Criss's stomach started to gurgle. "Oh man" Criss said putting his hand over his mouth. "What's wrong?". "I'm going to be sick" he remarked. "Hold it down Criss if they hear you puking we're going to be meet your father up in heaven" I said as Criss took his hand away from his mouth. "There's the ambulance so they couldn't of gotten far" Luke said as they walked to the car. Then Criss's stomach made the same sound again and Criss could taste the vomit in his mouth.

"Come on Criss hold it down if you can eat a mouse with out puking you can do this". Criss put his hand over his mouth trying not to throw up. "Well it looks like you shot one of them" looking at the bloody two by fours in the ambulance. "Louise I can't hold it down I got to vomit" Criss whispered. "Come on Criss you have to keep it down". Criss couldn't hold it and puked. "What was that?" George stated. "Sounding like someone throwing up come on" Luke remarked. After Criss finished I turned and saw them coming. "Come on they heard you" and we started to run off. As we ran I tripped falling to the ground. I saw my foot was caught on some barb wire. Criss came back as I tried to get the barb wire off of me. "Criss get out of here they're going to get you!!". "Not with out you"Criss replied. Criss got the wire off me but before I could get up I saw Blade in front with a gun pointed at Criss. "Get up you two"he replied. Criss and I got up as George came over with a syringe in his hand and stuck me and Criss knocking us both out.

When I finally woke up I took a look around and saw I was in a cage with my legs handcuffed inside. "What the-". I looked down and saw water. "Silverton"I muttered. I looked around but didn't see Criss anywhere. "I see someone's awake" A voice called out. I saw George walking around the tank. "George you :mad: where's Criss?"I inquired. Right on cue Luke brought Criss out tied up. Criss looked at me as Luke sat him up. "You know Louise I don't see what you see in him this punk". "Can we get this going the crowd's getting antsy" Luke replied. "The crowd will stay if they want to see this trick" George replied. "Let her go George!!"Criss called out. "Shut up pretty boy after she's done you're next and I'll make sure your death is worse than what Fred and Luke did to you,"George remarked. Criss wanted to punch him but Luke tied him better than anyone in his crew has done.

"All right bro put Criss in the chair and make sure he doesn't get out. He can watch while his girlfriend drown"George replied. My heart started to pound as I kept eye contact with Criss. "All right let's get it going before my fan base leaves” Luke remarked. "Stage is yours brother"George said going over to the leveler. As Luke did his intro I saw Criss was trying to get out of the rope. Come on Mindfreak if you can get out of a straightjacket while being pulled by a jet ski in the water I know you can do this I thought. "All right on the count of three our lovely assistant will be plunge into the water below and she'll try to escape out of the cage with her legs shackled inside the cage with no way of breaking the locks"Luke said starring at me taking his eyes off Criss who got one of his hands out. "One-Two-". Before Luke could get to three Criss got out and tackled Luke to the ground. When George saw what was going on he took the safety off and the cage splashed into the water. "LOUISA!!"Criss yelled.

As the cage hit the water I took a deep breath of air but got water instead. I didn't know what to do I had nothing to pick the locks with and my brain was telling me to breath. All of a sudden I heard a splash and saw Criss swimming down with something in his mouth. When he got closer I saw it were keys. Criss opened the door but before he gave me the keys he kissed me giving me some air to breath. After that he gave me the keys so I could unlocked the cuffs. Up on the surface police came in with guns drawn including Detective Taylor and arrested George and Luke. "You're too late Criss and Louise are corpses"George said. "Detective Taylor look"an officer remarked. In the water they could see bubbles coming up. "Pull it up"Taylor yelled. Under the water the keys wouldn't work.

Criss could tell I was running out of air but when he saw the cage moving up he took hold. When the cage got to the surface Criss swam to the side. "Get some bolt cutter now!!"Criss called out as he got out. "I'll get them"an officer stated and left. George and Luke watched as they put the cage down. Criss ran over to see me laying there unconscious. "She's got no pulse"Taylor said. Criss took me out and started to do mouth to mouth on me. "Give it up Mindfreak she's dead!!"Luke called out. "Get them out of here and make sure Blade has a cop with him I don't want him by himself"Taylor remarked as they took them away. "Come on Louise I can't lose you"Criss muttered. After Criss gave me his last breath I started to cough up water. Criss just smiled as Taylor came over with bolt cutters and cut the handcuffs off my ankles. Downstairs in the police cars Luke and George thought they had killed me when a stretcher came out with me on it wrapped up while Criss followed with a towel wrapped around him too. As they loaded me up I saw George and Luke looking at me so with my last bit of strength I flipped them off which Criss happily joined in as well.

At the hospital Criss and I were being looked over as Detective Taylor walked over. "So how are they?" he asked. "Pretty good considering what they've been through we're going to release them in a few minutes" as the nurse left. "I guess this is good-bye"he said as we shook hands. "Didn't you say that last time" Criss joked. I jabbed Criss in the side. "Very funny Angel maybe you should give up magic for comedy. I'll tell Stella you said hi Louise" and Detective Taylor left. "Well this has been an interesting date" I stated. "Yea it has" Criss remarked. "I guess we'll have to reschedule our date"I said smiling. Criss was about to kiss me when JD walked in. "Don't mind me"JD remarked. Criss pulled back as he got up. "I brought you some dry clothes for the both of you" giving us bags. "Thanks JD" as I went to change in the bathroom. "Has anyone told you JD that your timing stinks"Criss said. "Yea you every time you're about to kiss a woman. I'll be outside waiting" and he went out to the hall.

Criss took off the wet pants and changed into some dry one. While Criss was changing I watched ever so quietly as Criss took off his wet shirt. "You done in there Louise?"Criss called out. "Yea and may I say what a body!!"I replied. Criss turned around and saw me standing there. "How long have you been standing there?" he asked as pulled down his shirt. "Long enough to have some major nice fantasies that would make your mother blush"I replied smiling. "Come on" and we left. When I finally came back to New Hampshire I went to see my friends at the police station. "Look who's back Louisa!!"Louis called out. "Just for a little while"I stated. "Let me guess got to unpack". "No packing up I'm moving to Neveda"I replied. "What Criss asked you to move in with him?"one of the secretaries asked. "Sort of" and held out my hand to show them an emerald ring.

"Holy :mad: Criss asked you to marry him!!" as they looked at it. I nodded "Wow are you still going to be in law enforcement". "I don't know maybe well I'll see you guys later" and left. Two months after that Criss and I went to New York so I could do something I went to visit my parents' grave which I hadn't done in a long time. "You ready for this?"Criss asked. "Yea I have to I use to come ever summer on my mom's birthday but I stopped going now I need to start up again" smiling. I got out of the car and walked over to the grave stone. I got down on one knee and put the pink rose on my mom's side and a white one on my dad's side. "I'm sorry I haven't been here but I want you guys to know that I've changed a lot since I last came here I'm an engaged woman. I live in Nevada now working with my husband and his bodyguards which I find fun. I love you guys and I'll be back every year I swear"I remarked.

I got up and walked back to Criss. "Ready" Criss inquired. "Yea" and I got back in. "Oh Criss I have a surprise for you and you have plenty of time to get ready for it" I stated as Criss started up the car. "How long?"Criss inquired as we pulled out. "Oh about nine months"I replied.
